Love Dawn!! I had never been waxed before & she made it so comfortable for my first time. I did the sugaring & I must say sugaring is less painful & much better for your skin. Had the pleasure of meeting Dawn today for an eyebrow wax. The only appointment time available on the scheduling website was 3pm. I was hoping to get in sooner to avoid rush hour so I left voicemail asking if there was any way to get in sooner. Dawn returned my call within 10 mins and was extremely accommodating. Hands down the best experience I have had any any spa. From the moment I booked online to entering the spa, James and the staff consistently went above and beyond. Safety is their #1 priority and it showed in the cleanliness of the building, each room and the safety precautions -- you could tell they took COVID-19 seriously. This was my first facial and James made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. He wanted to learn about my concerns and what I was hoping to get out of the treatments and had a plan designed and tailored just to me. He took his time, explained every step and was extremely knowledgable. He makes sure that every client is comfortable, consistently checking in to make sure you know what is going on and doesn't do treatments just for the sake of doing them. He also doesn't push products for sale. I left the end of the treatment extremely blown away by the results after just one session and can't thank or recommend James enough. He also recommends products for your skin but in NO way tries forcing them on you. Dawn is great! I've been going to her for a few years now (I've been with her since Campbell). I live in San Jose, so it's quite a trek for me to see her, but it's always totally worth it. I can't imagine ever finding any other esthetician who is a as skilled or patient as Dawn. I have exceptionally sensitive skin and Dawn always takes the time to make sure to protect my skin. I wanted to wait until I had at least 3 hydra facials done in order to give an honest review. My skin has never felt so clean or lightweight. I have problematic skin (acne & excess oil). Since, I started getting monthly hydra facials, I no longer need to carry blotting papers or reapply finishing powder throughout the day and I couldn't be happier with my results. My skin tone is even and I do not experience nearly as much congestion in my pores. Melinda is an absolute gem, I highly recommend her if you struggle with acne. She does a fantastic deep clean without making you walk out red faced which I've never experienced before. The salon is very clean and James is so welcoming!! It's clear that the employees at MODA care about your skin. Last but not least, they offer the best prices! I had the hydrafacial here with Laxmi... and I had no idea what I was in for!! I've had the hydra facial in the past and I've always loved how it made my skin feel, but Laxmi really took her time to make sure that, not only did my skin glow afterwords but I felt SO relaxed and refreshed during my facial! I never take time to sit still, and it was by far the most relaxed I've been in a long time. I came out feeling like a new person!! When Jose told me hydrafacials were coming to Moda, I knew it would be top of the line and include natural ingredients. Last night I had my first Hydrafacial with Agnieszka and it surpassed my expectations. Most facials involve painful blackhead extractions, and the Hydrafacial pulled out months of gunk easily and painlessly. i read about sugar waxing online. watched utube videos. i decided to try it. Dawn was awesome. she took her time and made my first appointment with her very comfortable. extended bikini waxing is rather personal. but I wanted to write a review since Dawn was so gentle and took her time to ensure my comfort. The waxing salon is super clean and Dawn used all the hygene things the utubes said a good salon should do. my other lady is great but the wax was causing me to rash out and have to many ingrown hairs. so far the sugar wax (she used a combo of sugar and wax strips), i am not rashed out. Dawn is very knowledgeable about all types of waxing. my first visit yesterday will notbe my last as she has a new long term customer. guys may like to have their necks waxed for longer term results. k read more

I tried the hydra facial for the first time this week. I have fine lines and some random acne spots that flared up in my mid 30s. This type of facial was really great. I've had other traditional facials that left me blotchy and red with minimal results. This left me with no down time. Agnieszka was fantastic and knew what she was doing. She took before/ after pics and you could literally see the difference in the lines and the acne. I purchased a product she recommended to help sustain the results. Then I waited skeptically for a few days. My skin still looks great and the acne spots have greatly reduced. Based on my own research of the facial, I'm aware I need to have several sessions to completely clear it up. I will be going back monthly and am so excited. Also, Agnieska really knows her stuff.
