I went in with the recommendation of a friend and many good recent reviews from this place and I agree. This place is great, Danny did my army green nails. I love how he repair my pinky nail and did a fill the way it should be. Patricia also did my friends ombré nails very nicely, it was her first time getting her nails done and she is very satisfied, Patricia did her nails exactly how she showed her from a picture. Absolutely recommend this place! Update: Into two weeks since I got my refill on my green acrylic nails I have to say the acrylic was not good quality and I was very disappointed at how fast my nails broke one at a time. It hasn't been 3 week yet until almost all my nails came off. I don't do much to damage my nails on my own so I know it wasn't me who made my nails fragile. On a few nails that didn't came out yet the gel nail polish also started peeling off. I took a closer look and it looked like two thin layers. When I saw Danny do my nails I thought he put in gel properly well but I guess it wasn't proper because it peeled off. I am writing on behalf of my fiance who unfortunately just had a very negative experience at this location. She has been going for a few months and has always made appointments with Sydney (not sure of spelling) for fills with no issues prior. They even once fixed another shops mistake, which is how she started going there to begin with. However, today's appointment was far below an acceptable standard of business. Sydney was constantly distracted by security people installing cameras and it was clear that she was rushing because of another appointment. The main reason for this post is the fact that my fiance was cut twice. One small on her index finger however a worse cut on her middle finger. Though these things do happen and we understand that, the nail tech did not say a word and did not apologize. It took my fiance telling her that it hurt and pulling her hand away before Sydney grabbed a paper towel and just wiped it away real quick. She got blood on her own hands and did not get up to wash them. There was blood on her thumb and she continued to do the nails and touch all of her tools without so much as hand sanitizer. Secondarily, My fiance very clearly showed the design that she wanted at the beginning of the appointment. However, when it came to placing the gems, Sydney did not ask if the ones they had were acceptable and proceeded to begin gluing them on her nails even though they were not the right size and did not look anything like the example provided. When this was pointed out to her she just defended herself saying that's the only size they had so my fiance said she didn't want them. Not before, but after removing them is when she said she would be charged an extra $5 which is unacceptable. Not the money, but the fact that she wasn't told until after they were already pried off. When my fiance try to explain that that was not acceptable, then nail tech just seemed to get frustrated and told her that she was wasting her time and money. They hadn't even worse attitude when she called to express how unsatisfied she was with that visit and how disappointing it is when she has been a consistent customer, at which point they further defended their actions but offered to give her $5 if she came back. In short, this experience was specifically with Sydney, so if you visit this shop please check your nail techs hands and tools for trace amounts of other customer's blood. By far one of the best places to get a pedicure. I can't remember her name but she's Middle Ages Asian lady with curly hair. I came in and they quickly filled the basin with water and of course used the Saran Wrap to cover the bowl. I had to wait a couple of minutes but it was worth the wait. The lady changed her gloves and but in new ones in front of me. I got the basic pedicure that was $20. I also added gel nail polish which is $10 more as well as callous remover for another $5. So all together the pedicure was $35. The lady took her time and made sure that all polish were off and that my feet were baby soft. She scrubbed my feet like her life depended on it and kept checking to make sure that the entire heel was nice and soft. The only thing that I would change is the massage, there wasn't enough lotion or oil so the massage felt dry. What I like most is that they didn't pressure me to upgrade the pedicure like other places. I told her that I only wanted the basic and then she got right to work. She did ask if I wanted my nails done but when I said, "no" that was it. I like being able to actually relax when I get a pedicure and not feeling pressured to get other services. I would recommend bringing cash, they do charge a small fee for using your debit/credit card. The fee is only fifty cents, but depending on how often you go it could add up. read more

When I first walked in it was dark inside, and the ladies were just sitting and chatting. They were nice, but from a first impression viewpoint, if you have a place called "Modern" Nail, you'd think it'd be modern. They really need to upgrade here. They have a 3-D looking horse poster, mis-matched Live, Laugh, Love signs, dusty silk floral, a spiral notebook in place of a proper computer system, planner, or schedule. It's like they threw the place together in one day. Personally, I love walking in and feeling a sense of relaxation. This place, I was thankful that the gal was quick and good, because this place just felt awkward. I hope the owner has plans to actually design and upgrade. read more

The ladies rush to do the work , doing a poor job, they want the customer to pay before they finish the work. And they always taking in their language about customers, their prices are very high for the service they are giving to the customer. My thumb nail and my finger nails are cricket I did tell the nail tech but she kind of just ignored me. And then I noticed they don't have a nail dryer machine so should literally finish my nails let me sit there and she left to go pack her stuff to leave eventually comes back and sees me sitting there and says you can go my nails weren't even dry. and I asked for a coffin shape and my nails just look long and skinny. I have never had a problem when Danny does my nails. He's pretty awesome, I used to go to other nail salons and I'd drive from Rancho just to come have Danny do my nails. This time I went in for a mani/pedi another lady helped me and she made me bleed twice, and every time I said "Ow" or "You made me bleed" the response was "you have a hang nail." Ok?? First of all no I didn't, your nail dremel nicked me. And at first I thought the paint job was fine, after I washed my hands and went out into the sunlight, I noticed she completely neglected the sides of my nail and you can tell the top coat isn't on my entire nail... but hey when you're more focused on talking to the new customers walking through the door rather than focus on the nail job your currently doing ‍ what do you expect. I sat in the chair waiting for someone to do my pedicure for about 20 minutes.. the water got cold while I was waiting. I understand it's a holiday, so I was patient. But within 15-20 minutes she was done with my pedicure! Which was upsetting. I've been here multiple times and usually don't have a problem but I couldn't get over how quickly my pedi was done. My nails are all different lengths, crooked and my nails are not fully painted, even after I asked that they redo the work they did. Filthy Crowded horrible manicure. Pedicure was injurious causing infections... Dropped towels picked it up off floor.. shared dirty implements.. You know how you can feel when a hand is dirty gritty filthy sticky? Yeah that touched me.
