Some of the best barbecue in the Vail Valley. Not the best BBQ I've ever had but it was definitely quality. We ordered ribs, pulled pork and roasted chicken. I'd say the ribs were my favorite. This is one of my son's favorite barbecue places to eat. It's a rather simple place but it's the service and food that matters most. You order at the counter, the employee writes your name and order on a sheet of butcher block paper and places it in a plastic tray basket. You get your drink and sit down. They'll call your name when it's ready. I ordered the turkey with collard greens, jambalaya. My son had the wings. A thick slice of corn bread comes with the meals. Barbecue sauce and a white sauce were drizzled on the turkey. The turkey was mouth watering moist and flavorful. The sauces were tasty and went well together. The collard greens had pieces of smoked sausage in it. The best collard greens I've ever eaten other than how I make them. The jambalaya was very tasty and was not soupy. The corn bread was warmed up on their grill and was outstanding! I'll return next time I'm in the surrounding area of Eagle! read more

I absolutely love this place. Very few places that is consistently so tasty. My favorite meal is some boudin, and this is the only place that has it. The boudin balls are genuinely to die for. And I rarely say that about any meal. 10/10 highly recommended. read more

Would you like a side of fly with that? Been coming here for years and this place is hit or miss. Usually a miss and over priced. They have always had a fly problem but today was horrendous. Flies all over the food and all over every table. You had to constantly swat at flys while you ate. It's embarrassing to bring people there or even recommend it because of the cleanliness and quality. it's unfortunate because our town needs good restaurants and it's hard enough with our limited options to take people out. Real BBQ in the mountain town of Eagle? Yes. This little roadside BBQ joint and bar was just the thing after a hot day of archery. Stopped in with the family and had their pulled pork platter. Smoky and tender with just the right amount of slightly peppery sauce. Sides were small, but the whole thing came together as a perfect lunch portion. Their pork green chili side was AMAZING -- smoky with a nice kick from fresh chiles. Finished off with sweet tea. For those not into land animals, they also have fish and shrimp on the menu. My daughter had the fried catfish and gave me a taste. It was lightly battered and had some great seasoning. Perfectly cooked so the fish was tender. Service was fast and friendly -- a "grab your food from the counter when your name is called" affair with some private booths as well as a big table for families or community style dining. We have been stopping by here for years! The barbecue and catfish are way above average. Staff is always! Nice and the food comes out quick! The platter has cornbread option that I highly recommend. The pulled pork and ribs are great! Super place for lunch and dinner. We have been about four time this season and it is very consistent in food quality. The ribs did not fall off the bone and were far from anything special and the pork was dry and salty. Still trying hard to quench my thirst. This place is ON POINT!! We were just passing through and decided to try Moe's and I'm so glad we did!! I had the turkey sandwich, 'Bama style!! It did not disappoint and neither did the potato salad or green beans! The bun for my sandwich was soft and fresh and one of the best buns I've had. My son had the pulled pork sandwich and his teenage tastebuds were very happy. My husband has the turkey platter. He loved his food as well. We're originally from Kansas City and love that style of bbq and it's hard for us to find anything comparable but tonight we found it!!
