The food here is pretty good however 3 of the past 4 times I've been here they have been out of unsweetened tea, Diet Coke, and diet Dr Pepper. The staff seems annoyed when I ask them to either brew tea or refill the drink syrup. The dining room is usually a mess as well. Moes is always fresh and a good meal. We usually do take out just because we can be home with mom as it's hard for her to get out. But every time I have ordered through the app our food is always fresh, and the order is always right. We enjoy this place and we are regulars, either dine in or takeout. I had tried for the first time today and had it door dashed and it was absolutely so awful that I threw it away. The meat was too chewy, the cheese was so gross had no flavor and the guacamole was brown in some parts. I was very disappointed!! I would definitely like my money back as I paid with a DoorDash gift certificate but want my money back on what I paid. So disgusting! Will never eat here again. What have the people of Nashville been smokin' to give this a cumulative 2.0 star? While it's pseudo-Mexican ala Americana, it's a quality product with wonderful service. Similar to a Chipotle style with a step-right-up and tell them what you want as you go down the line. It has all the makings for something tasty. I got a Quesadilla with Carnitas ($7.99), and it was tremendous (4.5 stars). It was hardly just 2 tortillas with a thin layer of sprinkled cheese and meat -- it was very thick nearly like a burrito with corn, salsa, sour cream, and black beans (and I could have had more and more choices to add). The carnitas was super tender, nicely shredded, and power-packed with flavor. I loved it. I know it's a small chain, but c'mon...it's great for what it is. read more

Yuck! The whole experience was horrible. We've never eaten at more before and this will be the last visit! We walked in at 8:10 on a Friday night and they were packing up and closing despite being open until 9. The young woman working the line was really snarky when we asked her questions about the food. (Again, never eaten at moes before). I asked for a chicken bowl and was greeted with a snotty reply about them being out, and they "aren't making more". The I asked for steak and they only had 1 tiny scoop of meat. She added it to my meal then just looked at me when we both realized that wasn't enough food. The last 4 times I've been to this Moe's, it's been a disaster. First time, they COVERED my bowl in cheese 3 times, right in front of me, after I told them I am lactose intolerant and can't have dairy. They made it right the 4th time.... second time, I made a mobile order, said no cheese or sour cream, my husband picks it up, and since the bags are tied shut, he didn't look to make sure. It was covered in cheese. So he had to drive back and get it fixed. 3rd time, I got a salad, they made it correctly!!!!! BUT the lettuce was NASTY. Wilted, old, and it even tasted rotten. I didn't eat much. And today, the 4th time, we made another mobile order, and my husband checked mine, made correctly, but his... he hates beans, and what is there EXTRA of??? BEANS. So, we used DoorDash tonight to order food for the family. It didn't go quite the way we planned, but how it ended was worth this 5 star review We got our food SUPER-QUICKLY, which is always a plus. However, upon taking the food out of the bags, my daughter noticed that this was Not our order. She was right. There was a mix up in the last name on our order and the order we received. I called and spoke with the manager, Kayla Selby. She was already aware of the mistake but per restaurant policy, could not take our order back. Let me tell ya, this was a Ton of food! Like serving 20+ people worth of food. She personally delivered our order on her way home this evening bc DoorDash had in their system that it had already been delivered. Even MORE food! Needless to say, we have like a week's worth of food and she was nothing but hospitable and her eyes smiled(she wore a mask). I apologized that it happened, and she was quick to point out that it wasn't our fault and to have a happy Mother's Day. Kayla is the epitome of professionalism and Moe's should be happy to have someone with her pleasant demeanor on their management team. Decent class B Mexican fast food. The staff was friendly and helpful and food was ready quickly and tasted decent. I felt that it was a step up from Taco Bell but not as good quality or fresh as Chipotle or Free Birds. The restaurant was pretty dirty- much of the floor was covered with food and many of the tables were dirty. I personally don't plan to come back as there are much better options nearby. read more

Stopped in to Moe's because I wanted something "quick" that wasn't fast food. It definitely wasn't as quick as I thought it would be. Employees were friendly. But the menu was kind of weird. Lots of names for things that weren't described.... I thought the price point was pretty high for what I ended up eating. It was for sure enough food! I just didn't finish it because I was sick of eating it. It didn't taste bad. It just didn't taste good. Basically it was an in between chipotle and Taco Bell. Not similar in taste AT ALL to chipotle. But an assembly line set up. And actually even though moes had fresh and more quality ingredients than Taco Bell. I've had more flavorful things at Taco Bell. I'm not a Moe's fan... frankly... I'd rather have Taco Bell than Moe's. Their food is bland, overpriced and their restaurant isn't exactly a shining example of clean. There are often long lines... and I can't figure out why. Being from California, someone suggested I try Moe's as a Chipotle substitute and it is NO Chipotle! If you're wanting really mediocre food, made fresh in front of you... this mexican subway will meet your expectations. I have been to Moe's several times. I love it. The food always tastes fresh and I love being greeted the way they do. However, I have been sorely disappointed coming to the Spring Hill location. I graduated from the University of TN....and I went to that Moe's many many times. If a college town can have a clean space and greet everyone of their customers then that's where I would set the bar for other locations. This was my third time coming to the Spring Hill location. The other two times were kind of late so I thought maybe they had a really busy day for how dirty it was inside. No, I took my little brother, who is 9 years old here, and it was disgusting. It was hard to find a clean table. The salsa was basically depleted. Coming in the door at the beginning it seemed like the workers were just annoyed that I showed up. When other customers comment that "the place always looks like this"- I think there might be a problem. I live in Texas now and was excited to get Moe's and I won't be coming back to this location. Disappointing! I've been to other Moes locations and I remember the food being better than it was here, the chips are super salty, the salsa variety is very minimal, no pineapple for example, and the black beans look like they have been cooking for days, there was more black bean (sauce/liquid) then black beans. The burrito I got had so much black bean liquid with almost no black beans in it entire inside black of my burrito turned black. The restaurant is clean and the staff seems friendly, but there's no need to return. I've had better Mexican at Taco Bell. read more

I tried Moe's a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. It's like Subway, but for burritos. They had a tofu option for vegetarians, which I tried and liked. My burrito was HUGE, and I couldn't eat all of it. The more things you ask them to put in the burrito, the bigger and tastier it gets! Next to the utensils, was a great selection of salsas to flavor up my side order of chips... and then, there was the awesome drink machine. The drink machine was pretty amazing... it was computerized and made custom drinks. The strawberry Sprite was great! The décor was hip and I liked the classic rock music that was being played. The staff was really nice--one came over an helped me when he saw I was having a little difficultly getting my 18-month-old put in the high chair. I like Moe's just fine...it's just the burritos are so tiny. I have to get my 16 year old son two of em to fill him up. He's only 5'8/140 and the kid can't get full here without me spending about $20 for two burritos. At Chipotle my kids can barely finish the burrito. Moe's is good but if they get a Chipotle out here I feel they are doomed. I just don't feel the dollar goes to far at Moe's. We do like the food and they do a good job on our orders though. You also get free chips and salsa at Moe's. No free chips and salsa at Chipotle. It's just a really small burrito for the $$$ at Moe's. read more

Not my favorite place. It reminds me a bit of Chipotle, which I have never been impressed with. The burritos, I feel, are stuffed too much. You can't taste anything good. They put so much in it that I feel it is overstuffed and ruins the taste. And walking into a place of business and being yelled at with their stupid "Welcome to Moes" is annoying as anything! I want to yell back "shut up!" Not a place I will visit anymore. I'll take Taco Bell food over this place. And I hate getting food from an open 'bar' ie, salsa bar. Parents let their kids run rampart at the bar since they think it's cute that their kids can serve themselves. Barely any chicken was put on, I asked for "a little more". went on with the rest of the process, at check out the first guy hollered down that it was extra meat. explained I didn't think it as right considering the small portion initially applied. she said, "don't worry about it"... I paid and left. looked at my receipt, she charged extra meat anyway. after having to wait on them to cook/restock everything, and getting skimped out on cheese and meat, having to pay extra, this was disappointing. read more

I have been eating at this Moe's for years and will continue eating there as I love their food and always have leftovers that I can take home and eat later too. The past 3 or 4 times I've gone, there have been the same two employees arguing with each other or being rude to each other in front of the customers. I completely understand not always getting along with coworkers. But at least save it for later. I don't expect everybody to be skipping and dancing and being 100% positive all the time, but it makes a really big difference when you get to interact with people who seem to really be enjoying themselves. read more
