Edited a minute ago New…read moreUpon entering the establishment, the security guard took our IDs and he was holding a high-alcohol content beer, Hayburner, in one hand, and holding our ID's with the other. He seemed angry when my brother asked if our ID's had to be scanned, and really seemed to snap at my brother, but we shrugged it off and he scanned them and we went on with our night. Throughout the night, the security guard continued drinking these Hayburners. My brother and I were enjoying our evening, had not once had any issue with another patron or the bar, and we were in mid-conversation about piano, when I felt the guard standing behind me. He was just standing behind me, staring my brother down. It was a scary feeling. My brother, who has worked in the industry for 20 years, asked if everything was okay. The security guard approached my brother and started pushing him saying "Everything is okay with me is everything okay with you??" And my brother was walking backwards trying to de-escalate this seemingly intoxicated security guard. That's when I watched him grab my brother by both shoulders and push him backwards across the entire length of the bar, knocking him into people and objects, eventually pushing him out of the door. He even grabbed another guy and shoved him so hard against the wall that that guys beer went flying and he had purple and blue bruises from his grab. I desperately tried for the other woman security guard to understand he had just been assaulted and had done nothing wrong. She seemed to nod like she had seen this before, but wasn't going to do anything about it. My sister and I were astounded at the actions of this man. That's when he shoved me, a mid thirties woman not even half his size. Even after we were walking away from the bar, this security guard stood outside yelling towards us that he, direct quote, was going to "break our f***ng necks". This is negligence on the bar's behalf, for allowing an intoxicated security guard to a$$ault patrons. We immediately filed a police report, and they requested the video footage from the bar. The bar refused to provide any of the footage. Usually, bars who have nothing to hide are quick to comply- which was very telling in this case. We were never once asked to leave. We were just blind-sighted. I immediately called the bar after the incident and one of the owners, Amanda, who was tending the bar and witnessed the entire thing, cheerfully answered the phone. She had served my brother with no issue. I let her know her security guard had just assaulted us, and she said "ok?" And nothing further. This place does not give a rip about anyone's safety, especially not women's. It has been weeks and I'm still recovering from the pain of this night. Beware for your safety, women. I did what I could, but their actions will likely result in someone getting seriously hurt.

It was terrifying. I could've lost my brother, and we didn't even know why. For your own safety, don't fight back if confronted like this, report it instead. Paper trails save lives. On a brighter note: my brother absolutely crushed it on the mic earlier that night.

It closed down not too long after the last time I went there. My friends Patrick and Jules took me here, and it was a fantastic club. The music wasn't as good as at the Coliseum and Continental downtown, but the phenomenal location right by the lake near Tifft on Fuhrmann, where the wind turbines now are, was such a wonderful place for a club in the winter. Unfortunately it was an awful club spot in the winter and cold weather, and since most of the year is freezing up here, that's probably what happened. To the person whose feelings I hurt that used to go here with me, I'm really sorry. I miss you.

Flirting with all the hot guys and waiting for The # 1 football team to show up and party with the Buffalo Bills Team back when Jim Kelly was the Quarterback and the whole team played as a well oiled machine couldn't get any better than this! Was really sad to see this landmark close down with the right owners and business ingenuity this could have stayed open longer and rented out I the winter for different functions. After this is posted I'll be moving onto Facebook. Okay, so I went to L3 as part of the bar crawl bunny hop ran by XL. The event was great I had a great time at all the bars except for L3. We had been in the bar at the beginning of the night and had no issues but then we can back around 1am and I guess the place had gone to shit. My boyfriend ordered a beer, paid for it and then asked for a shot. He then asked the bartender if he could pay debit, she said yes and he took his card out. He waited about 5 minutes and she never came back with the debit.( he had every intention to pay) another 5 minutes goes by and she finally realized that she had fucked up..NOW what your thinking is most places would ask you to pay and apologize because she forgot about her customer. INSTEAD she tells the security and says that he "stole the shot" HAHA. So now the security could of also asked him to pay but NO! Two security guards say "YOU'RE OUT OF HERE!" and grabs him very aggressively. So my boyfriend says "what did I do?" He says he stole a shot and so he takes his debit out and said "can I pay?" The security repeats you're out of here! And pushes him really hard. He then says OK, I'll leave..can I at least finish my beer? I paid for it. He ripped the beer out of his hand and slams it on the table. And continues to push my boyfriend while he is trying to walk out on his own...can I just add that my boyfriend is about to get knee surgery for his ACL and meniscus so he can barely walk as is and this guy is pushing him for no reason. I then ask the second security guard why he got kicked out? He says he doesn't know..I'm sorry, your pushing someone and you don't even know why? Then I go to the bar to ask. A bartender was standing there refusing to talk to me and then the one that kicked him out comes out and explains her side of this. I said okay then allow him to pay? She says she can't help me. I'M SORRY WHAT? At that point my whole group was upset so we left and went to chilli pepper which was a better party, nicer staff and really polite security guards. I do not recommend this place. It was basically because of the bartenders lack of multi tasking skills common sense and lack of manners that my boyfriend got kicked out for her mistake and the security are clearly assholes and way too aggressive with their customers. I have seen other reviews on other sites that have had common situations with the guard kicking them or others out for something they didn't do and literally throwing people out. Makes you wonder..doesn't it?
