This was a bummer. I remember coming here in the past and enjoying myself but this last experience was disappointing. I recently learned they offer gluten free crust so I was super excited to try it out. I ordered the spicy pepperoni pizza with the $3 upcharge for gluten free crust. The person working told me the gluten free crust takes a little longer to make so it'd be about 15-20 minutes. No problem! However, I ended up waiting almost an hour (55 minutes according to the timestamp on my receipt). I came back over after 25 minutes to see what was up and was told they had to remake my pizza because the person working made it wrong. It then took an additional 30 minutes to get my pizza and I definitely don't feel like it was worth the wait. Even though the GF crust had a nice texture, the pizza didn't have a ton of flavor and barely had any sauce. It definitely wasn't spicy either. When I took the rest home, I ended up adding sauce, cheese, and more chili flakes to it myself which helped a bit. The person working tried to remedy the long wait by giving me free dough bites which were not very good either. I appreciated the gesture but I ended up just giving them away to someone else. I will say that everyone working here seemed well meaning and pretty friendly, so that's part of the reason for the three stars. read more

I was really about to take my pizza back because I thought it was a little burned around the crust. But I hate to be that person and said let me try it first. And it was fine! They are good and offer topping combinations to accommodate pretty much everyone. The last time we went I got the Hawaiian and was a little disappointed. We are at R. House a lot and are down to the last few places we haven't tried yet. A few weeks ago, we decided to try Molina and get some pizzas. We tried two: the Hot Honey Chicken (olive oil, aged mozz, fresh mozz, Parm, crispy chicken, roasted red pepper, house hot honey drizzle, and parsley) and the Parma (garlic cream sauce, fresh mozz, aged mozz, Parm, post-fire arugula lemon vinaigrette, and prosciutto). The Parma definitely had the better flavor, and I thought I was going to really enjoy it. However, the prosciutto had been sliced so thick that it was kind of inedible. You couldn't bit through it, so when you bit into the pizza, you just got a whole four-inch-long piece of prosciutto as thick as thick-cut bacon! It was definitely a miss. I ended up just taking it off and eating the rest of the pizza sadly. The other pizza was just okay as well. The crust was decent on both pizzas, but the flavors and/or toppings just weren't great on either of the pizzas we tried. Overall, just okay. Definitely not my favorite spot in the food hall nor one of my favorite pizzas in the area. read more

I thought the pizza was pretty good but I order a margherita pizza and basically was given a cheese pizza. That was disappointing. There were no dollops of mozzarella cheese nor any basil. When I went back to the counter to ask about the pizza the lady said that they do not use that kind of cheese on their margherita pizzas. She then took a shaker and sprinkled very little basil leaves on about half of the pizza and handed the pizza back to me. I appreciated her attempt to "fix" the pizza but the pizza remained far from what i expected. I would visit this food spot again but I would order a different type of pizza. read more

This might be the best gluten free pizza that we've ever had. We really enjoyed our pizza here. We got a gluten free crust with tomato sauce peppers, onions and pepperoni. The sauce was great and even though the cheese was a little light, it was extremely flavorful. I thought the service was slightly unsatisfactory. I was standing at the front for awhile making eye contact with the girl and she finally came to take my order about 3-4 minutes in. It was a slow day and maybe she is used to people taking forever to make their order. Either way this place is very good and probably my go to spot here. read more

We were sorely disappointed with what showed up in our box. The topping were just around the edges, and very minimal. We really had to squint our eyes to even see them... There was a small pile of basil in the center of the pizza. Additionally, there was a very thick layer of oil on the sauce... the whole pizza just looked like tomato sauce :( the crust was also burnt. So at $13.75 + tax... $15 was too much to spend on this. Molina's about using sustainable ingredients and baking their pizza in a stone hearth oven. I'm all for it. The half off deal is limited to the margherita and pepperoni pizza and it comes around to about $6-8. It could be shareable but really, the whole pie is really for yourself. Margherita - crust is thin and crispy but this pie missed the mark on flavor. I had to go back to the counter numerous times, adding oregano and red pepper flakes. My friend was doing the same and they grabbed what they thought to be parmesan cheese and loaded the pizza with it. When we sat back down, the pizza tasted really salty. She mistaken parmesan for salt. Its funny how they have salt as a condiment. So do they know the pizza lacks it? We made an effort to go back again but the memory of a tasteless pizza dissuaded us. read more

Finally had Molina's this weekend and I can honestly say I ate until I was stuffed. The pizza was amazing. The crust is perfect. And the fried dough bites for dessert was delicious. 5 stars for their pizza and 5 stars for hosting a cheesemaking night with the Caputo brothers. The cheesemaking class was super fun and informative! Learning the ins and outs of making fresh mozzarella gave me and several of the class attendees a new learned appreciation of the process and appreciation for cheese. The hands on of mixing of curds and stretching was an exciting unique process. My friend and I were geeking out the whole time. While people were mixing, the instructor (Rynn) gave out samples of some of her award winning cheese and they were to die for. Would definitely recommend as a fun date Molina uses Caputo brothers cheese on their pizza, and there's a reason why - it's amazing. The cheese in conjunction with the soft crust, sauces and assortment of toppings made for delicious pizzas. My personal favorite was the cauliflower pesto pizza. The variety of textures - softness of the crust, crunch of the cauliflower, smoothness of cheese and pesto - just drooling at the thought of it. As someone who's lived most of their life living in or very close the New Haven area, I can say this is as close as you're going to get to New Haven style pizza in Baltimore. It's not the same, but has enough of that slightly charred, chewy crispy crust to satisfy when you're miles and miles away from Frank Pepes. Before COVID we had a Wednesday evening tradition of pizza night at Molina, when they have a deal on a few of those pies. They have lots of good options (vegan, gluten free) but you really can't go wrong with a classic cheese pie. On several occasions, we were disappointed to receive a soggy crust, so a little more consistency would be nice. But overall, Molina is more hit than miss. 3 1/2 stars. read more

I guess the is a reason why its half off on Wednesday, this pizza is just not good. I haven't tried it and all my friends who have tried it have given it a meh or lukewarm opinion. Since it was 1/2 off i decided to go for it. First, it took forever to get my pizza, secondly even walking with pizza in hand i could smell that the sauce was going to be bitter and not good. Suffice to say the sauce was awfully bitter, and unevenly distributed. Now the parts where there was less sauce and more cheese i enjoyed that.
