    Chicken Kotlet
    Tori F.

Everything was delicious, simply put. They share a storefront/business with Carbon Copy Brewing, so when you're sat you can order from both businesses. The cider was crisp and tart, not too sweet which I like. Great pierogis, the kaputsa were excellent but the cheesesteak ones were out of this world - I'd come back here just for a good ol' pierogi spread. Had the chicken kotlet for my entree which is similar to chicken parm, but served with golabki sauce and farmers cheese. An excellent spin on an Italian classic. Ended with a few desserts, one being a tart of some sort and a kind of raspberry cake that was similar to poundcake, both delicious.

    Farmers cheese pierogis and kielbasa

This is not for the actual restaurant location. I bought pierogis and kielbasa from their stand at a farmers market. I need to go to their restaurant!!! I absolutely loved the farmers cheese pierogis. I boiled them from frozen. Then pan fried them a little. The dough was light and thin but held together during boiling. The filling reminded me of the recipe I got from my grandmother. Definitely authentic farmers cheese filling. The kielbasa is from czews so obviously good.

A friend of mine lives and works around the corner, and recommended this place for a meetup on my way to the airport. They were so right - it's great! We were there around 3pm on a Sat, so it was very quiet. They have a handful of beers on draft, and it sounds like they rotate fairly often. I got a stout that was really tasty. For food, the 3 of us kind of shared everything. We got the pickle soup, farm cheese pierogies, pot roast with potato pierogies, and cheesesteak pierogies with kielbasa. Everything was so good. The pot roast really reminded me of my late grandma's brisket. All the pierogies were pan fried to perfection, and cheesesteak pierogies have changed my life. But the good news doesn't end there! They sell frozen pierogies to go, so I was able to throw a package of cheesesteak pierogies in my checked luggage. My bf will be enjoying those this weekend and is thrilled. Ok, I will also be enjoying some and am also thrilled. Mom Mom's nails it on every level. The food is so homey and satisfying, it's like a warm hug. Service was also super friendly. I think we'll have to make it a tradition every time I'm in town from now on.

This place used to be Lunar Inn. Mom Mom shares this establishment with Carbon Copy beer. You order the food at the back. I highly recommend the cheesesteak pierogies. You can take bags of pierogies home too. For dessert I got fresh boiled blueberry pierogies. Very delicious. Katie at the front desk was super not.

    And spicy pickles

Wow! I was not a pierogi person before trying these. We went for the Carbon Copy Brewery (wonderful beers btw) but after seeing the plates coming out of the kitchen, I had to try an order. Went with the original potato pierogis and they were perfection. Can't wait to have them again!

I've been a mommom's fan for many years and the new place is really great. All of the Polish cuisine is nicely modernized with terrific ingredients and freshness. The space itself is great and glad to have another polish place right near where Krakus Market used to be (RIP Krakus)

You may have to fold your mirrors in to hit cars, I'm not exaggerating. I had envisioned a larger restaurant but this was small with maybe 7 tables. We sat at one with padded wooden benches that was comfortable. We were the only customers when arrived for lunch. The menu is limited and the waitress was as authentic as the food. There were some lunch specials posted but we opted to try three things: mushroom cheese bread, potato pancakes and the blueberry pierogies. The pierogies were definitely handmade and on the larger side as soon as you cut it open, the blueberries rushed out. There was a sweet sugary sauce on the top. That was unexpected. They were served cold and not warm. They were sweet. There were two of us and we each were only able to eat one of the six that came in the order. The mushroom cheese bread was drizzled with ketchup, which was unexpected that cheese was melting and gooey. Our favorite item was definitely the potato pancakes. They were cooked to perfection and the sour cream was the perfect condiment. They do have limited drinks here, including bottled water, cans of Pepsi and diet Pepsi, and some unique bottled drinks like birch water. The biggest drawback for the spot was that I just didn't think it was as clean as I would've liked it to be. It is authentic and as you eat, there is a man in the back that you can see making pierogies by hand. I'm glad that we tried this, but I'm not sure that I would return.

BYOB We came with another couple on a Saturday night and it was amazing to walk into a gorgeous dining room area with a kid play space. Our two boys ages 6, loved having a lego table and toys while the adults loved having a moment of peace at the table! We literally had to beg them to come eat because they were so entertained. Do not think that it is a messy place because it is kid-friendly, quite the opposite, it was so elegant and beautiful inside. Now for the FOOD! Hubby and I ordered a tasting dish they had which included a few Polish favorites to try and it was perfect. It brought 3 different types of perogies (the potato and cheese was my favorite), stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa with sauerkraut, and more! We could taste a little bit of everything and the portion was huge. For our boys we had the chicken fingers and fries, and this sounds silly but it was REAL chicken. It wasn't battered, just strips of seasoned chicken and fries, the kids loved them. We also shared two desserts there was an ice cream with fruit (which was gorgeous) and a cole apple pie. I'm not a huge fan of the desserts but the presentation was incredible. The only downside is that service is a bit slow, but since it is BYOB, just take ur time drinking your wine. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Flavor of Poland and will be returning!

Everyone eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. I went with my husband, son , another couple and their son and it almost felt like a double date. There is a kids section and the two were able to relax play read watch tv and just hangout together. Close enough to see them but couldn't hear them lol. The food was different but definitely would go back to try more things and enjoy the place itself. The plates were beautifully arranged. And it is byob. I ordered the chicken and husband the pork both pretty good. The other couple ordered the polish platter and the kids got chicken and fries and we got for dessert ice cream, apple pie and fruits.

Both of us love kielbasa and pierogies so when my wife found a write-up about this place she was sold. Luckily we took an Uber because we never would have found this place on our own. Little place in the middle of a neighborhood and when we got out of the car the aroma was enough to bring us in. They make the most of their space so expect to be close to other tables if you come here. Certainly not the place to come for private conversations. It was 100% what I would have expected for this kind of local Philly neighborhood place. Our server was awesome as she helped us with the menu and made great suggestions. We started with a couple drinks (cannot remember which ones) and bread with a whipped cream cheese/butter concoction with cracklings mixed in (OMG just THIS was worth the Uber ride). We started with the Kielbasa appetizer (kiełbasapork shoulder, coriander, marjoram) with pickles. The pickles were so good we found out where they got them and bought some the next day and the kielbasa was amazing. For dinner we ordered two beers and for our meals we got the Pierogi Ruskiepotato, farmer cheese, caramelized onion, sour cream, the Pierogi Z Grzybamimycopolitan mushrooms, buttermilk ranch and the Wieprzowina Z Rożnarotisserie pork, herb potatoes, bigos. The pierogi both had really deep flavors and were excellent. The mushroom pierogi had a consistency and flavor that made it seem like a ground meat rather than mushrooms. The rotisserie pork was perfection on a plate. Full of flavor and very rich. We had leftovers, but wanted it that way!! We saved enough room for dessert and ordered the Szarlotkaapple hand pie, black walnut streusel, cultured ice cream, Sernikspiced honey cheesecake, rye crust, whey caramel and a flight of three Polish liqueurs - Nalewka Domowa - we tried the blackberry, cantaloupe, and krupnik. The dessert was flaky and not too sweet, but the ice cream added the right amount of sweetness. The cheesecake was also very good and not overly sweet. The liquors were really flavorful and something I'd never tried before. I was expecting something like a brandy but it was a lighter consistency-very good. If you're in Philly and want an amazing meal with great service - Little Walter's is a must-try!
