If you're a matcha fan, this spot is a must-try! Their viral fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes were light and airy, and the matcha-inspired treats like the chocolate waffle cone with matcha ice cream was a great dessert option. Of course, I could not leave without trying their drinks too. The strawberry matcha latte and matcha chai were all rich in flavor. Their ceremonial-grade matcha is sourced from Japan and it really shines throughout their menu.

This place has been getting a lot of buzz ever since it popped up in the SoNo Collection. Actually, I had learned of this place around when I began seeing pictures of it on Instagram. Of course, I chose to wait a few weeks before I went back and tried it because the night I had learned about its existence was also the night I was shopping at Nordstrom to go to a funeral and spent almost $500 on a new dress shirt and pants. But tonight I finally went, and honestly, while I'm glad I went, I'm also glad I waited to go. If you're planning to come here, and I am about to recommend that you do, make sure you are ready with your wallet. 15% tip added, my total was just a few dollars under 40. But I will say that what I had ordered from them is totally worth the price. I grabbed up the Bubble Waffle with Chocolate Ice Cream, which also contained chocolate chips and two strawberries. If you like strawberries on top of chocolate this will become your new favorite thing. I'm not a strawberry guy myself, but I do appreciate these were fresh strawberries. The chocolate ice cream was good, the waffle was fluffy and light, and it came together for a nice treat. I also had a Matcha Lemonade with Matcha Soft Serve because I did want to try their matcha without it being a coffee thing since it was after 6 PM and I need to try and fail to get my beauty sleep. The lemonade is refreshing, and I appreciate the matcha being ceremonial grade. The soft serve inside was great to have as well and I think this would go great on a hot summer's day. While the price does keep me from giving this the full 5th star, I do want to try their other items, even if only to put aside that difference.

I got the matcha waffle and the matcha ice cream. Seriously, so delicious! I wouldn't change the recipes at all. However, they barely gave me ice cream, much less than advertised. That was disappointing. Also, there's only one person working, so it's a bit slow. There were no napkins left, and it dripped everywhere out the bottom while I was eating it. Super messy!! Be careful. So, this place has a lot of potential and it's delicious, but there are definitely things I would change. If you're paying $13 for a dessert, you'd expect it to have more than a couple of bites of ice cream in it. And make sure there are always napkins... I'd love to go back and see if it improves.

Momo Matcha is a Japanese-inspired cafe located inside the SoNo Collection Mall on the 3rd floor. They're known for their signature ceremonial grade matcha sourced from Japan. Highly recommend to visit this spot for matcha lovers, very delicious and instagrammable. The matcha coconut cloud was my favorite, very tasty and tropical. The Belgium chocolate with rose petals was also delicious, my husband really enjoyed this latte. The soufflé pancakes with fruits and ice cream and triple chocolate bubble waffle were both so yummy and perfect with every bite. Our first time trying these and everything was so filling and satisfying. The owner was also super nice and sweet and took the time to talk to us. I look forward to coming back when I'm in the area

We've stopped for treats twice now at Momo Matcha! It's impressive to see that they have their own signature ceremonial grade matcha imported from Japan, and everything we tried has been high quality. Really good bubble waffle cones for ice cream. Such a hidden gem in the mall!

This newly opened Green Tea Matcha Shop in the SONO mall in Norwalk, CT. (around a month). The owner was friendly and welcoming. Their matcha is sourced directly from a Green Tea from Japan. The owner shared that she made several trips to find the perfect Green Tea Matcha for her shop. Her passion and enthusiasm & dedication/story of this small business owner is astonishing and encouraging. This shop is located in the upper level of this upscale and beautiful mall. This mall has numerous high end to middle end retailers. It has plenty of paid indoor parking that is affordable. Their menu includes cold & hot matcha drinks, soft serve ice cream (two flavors normally) & regular ice cream (one being their signature tea matcha and the other is the seasonal/flavor of the month), bubble waffles and other desserts made from scratch by the owner. I ordered the Iced blueberry Matcha in a large size for $12.00 w/ taxes it came out to $12.89. It was not cheap and definitely a splurge. You are paying for quality and this is definitely one of the best Matcha drinks I ever had. It was so worth it. The Green tea matcha tasted fresh and with the blueberries it became more refreshing. Green tea and blueberries provided antioxidants which is the key ingredient to beautiful skin and blueberries contain vitamin "C" with boosts up your immunity. You can customize your drink to cater to your needs. I was there on a week night so there was no wait. My drink was made within 5 mins or less. I definitely will be back to try their soft serve ice cream and Iced Matchas. Definitely recommend and it is different from the Starbucks Green Tea Drinks in a good way! Give it a try in you happen to be in Sono Mall.

Their matcha is ceremonial grade so it's LEGIT. The Japanese soufflé pancakes were so good! They were fluffy and light. They have different toppings to make it your way. The icecream was delicious and the staff was the sweetest

Blueberry Oatmilk Matcha Latte. Authentic flavor, just like in Japan.

Tried their Blueberry Oatmilk Matcha Latte, it was amazing!! Really authentic flavor and perfectly balanced (not too sweet), just like in Japan. I added an extra matcha shot just for stronger taste. Will definitely come back!!

(Visited 3/11) Ambiance [4/5]: Minimalist style design, it's nice, Theres also pretty lighting and a good amount of seating with an open bar as well. Food: Trix latte w/ whole milk (seasonal): [4/5] Tastes like a bowl of cereal from a cup. Topped with whipped cream it's really delicious! Tastes like a cup of childhood. Theres a good anount of cereal in the cup alongside the ice so it feels like you get a good amount of sips before the drink is done. Other than that it's still pretty good nonetheless. Sin-A-Bun: [5/5] This is very delicious, it's a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The smokiness from the bacon surprisingly compliments the cinnamon roll buns. Good concept and executed perfectly. If there were an option i'd choose that over having it on the side. Surprisingly I didn't notice it on the side on the sandwich until I was half way through. Still delicious though. Challah french toast [5/5] Tasty and sweet. You can't go wrong with french toast. I added strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and Nutella drizzle (each topping is $3 extra). It was worth the price it was delicious. It came with a side of butter which compliments the sweetness of the toast and some syrup. I didn't use much of the syrup but it was still delicious when I did decide to use it! I wouldn't order this because for delivery because its one of those things that taste so much better fresh in front of you rather than waiting to he dropped off. Service: [5/5] Fast and efficient service! The restaurant works as a team. One man sat me, The middle eastern girl with the long sleeve black shirt took my order and checked on me, and the white boy with the arm tattoos and pen between his ear checked on me at times, and cleaned my table while the girl was busy. It's great to see everyone helping each other and not letting anyone suffer. I Loved it! Overall Cafe social, is a great restaurant to stop by if you plan on going to the mall. Not only is it a 8 minute walk but you're also given a great meal and overall greater experience. I see myself coming back here if I'm ever in norwalk looking for a quick bite!

My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.

The staff was super friendly, and I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. It was made on a Brioche roll with a fried egg. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the egg or the sandwich overall. It was okay, probably a three-star kind of thing. Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.

My first meal was the Caesar salad, which was outstanding. The poached egg was cooked perfectly with that soft, medium‑boiled center I love. The ambience is a huge part of the charm -- a cozy, wood‑cabin feel with a great bar setup. They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. We really enjoyed our visit !
