The picture of the beef lamb gyro salad I ordered is twice as big as the one I received. And I was charged full price. See picture on their food truck website and compare to picture of what I received. When I said this not the picture that is on the truck, I was told it was the salad I ordered. When I said it is half as big, told the same thing. If they're going to charge me full price for a salad that is half the size they advertise, they should have pics of what you are going to get.

This was one of the first takeout meals I got during quarantine and I've ordered at least 5 times since then. I order the chicken rice plate each time but my fiancé has tried each of the sandwiches and has loved everything. Chicken is moist, they give you a lot of hummus, and the veggies in the salad are marinated... therefore so much better than normal salad freebies you get. The best part is everything is flavorful. I usually add sauce/salt to my meals but this one is perfect to me as-is. My favorite Mediterranean takeout was in Cap Hill but Momo's has officially topped it. Food is also packaged well. I'd just be careful about the underneath of the packaging since they give you a few good drizzles of oil and it can leak if you don't eat it right away. Everything has been consistent each time and food is quick to come out too. Definitely recommend!

We tried the chicken shawarma (chicken is not smokey, tasted more like a mushy chicken caesar wrap) and gyro rice plate. Falafel is probably my favorite. Food is mediocre.

Had the food truck parked at Ounces. These Greek fries are BOMB. So so so good. Covered in feta and garlic sauce. Amazing. Service was quick and nice. Fantastic food.

Every time I have walked by in the last two months they have been closed. Not sure why. I'm only around here a few days a month. They are also a little Pricy, $15 for a plate. They have an easy to read menu, they are nice and friendly, they are quick and their food is great!!! There were two guys in the cart, one is wearing a mask and one is not. Overall I will eat there again if I can catch them opened. The wonderful food will drag me back.

Nothing but wet iceberg from a bag and some shredded chicken that tastes like tuna from a can. DISGUSTING and for $20. Shameful.

PLEASE READ! Are you kidding me? $20 for this chicken shawarma salad? This is a joke. DO NOT waste your money here for 1 diced tomato, iceberg lettuce, and some canned chicken! Shameful. They did reimburse me after I complained...so there is that.

I'd seen great preliminary reviews of this food truck, and I am a total sucker for Mediterranean food, so I was really excited to give Momo's Kebab a try. While I think there are a couple minor tweaks they could make to improve, I'm overall quite impressed with this food truck. The menu is pretty simple: you have the option of chicken shawarma, gyro meat, beef*, and vegan falafel in one of three forms: plate, sandwich, or salad. We ordered one each of the beef plate and chicken shawarma plate. The reason for the asterisk next to beef above is, midway through their making of our food, we learned that it's beef AND lamb and not just beef! This is kind of a critical distinction they should make on their menu board since not everyone likes lamb. Case in point was my mom who loathes lamb. They had no trouble re-making her meal to be a chicken shawarma plate after the discovery of the lamb-in-the-beef was discovered, which was very appreciated. While they were cooking the food, they even gave us a sample of one of their falafel and garlic sauce for dipping. Holy cow, this was easily the best falafel I'd ever had. It was SO crispy on the outside, but soft, moist, and and super fluffy on the inside. It was extremely well-seasoned with warm, delicious Mediterranean spices. And the garlic sauce was pure heaven. Easily beats every other garlic sauce in the area that I've tried. I'm not vegan, but I'd absolutely go back just for this dang falafel. When the food was ready they generously threw in a couple chocolate rolls too. Their customer service was impeccable. So, the verdict on the food we got to go. It was quite good. The rice was flavorful and again, the garlic sauce is simply to die for. Their pita and homemade hummus (!!!) is very delicious too. The chicken, however, was on the dry side. It was well-seasoned, just overcooked. Most of the other Mediterranean places I've tried in the area use thigh meat for their chicken shawarma, and I think using thigh meat or at least cutting the chicken breast into larger pieces would go a long way here. Finally, the chocolate rolls. They were so delicious! Think baklava but rolled up and drizzled with chocolate. Really a lovely way to end the meal. Overall, Momo's Kebab is a great food truck. You can't go wrong with their falafel. I think with the tweaks I mentioned, this would be my go-to place for chicken shawarma too.

Tasted good, but hurt my stomach immediately after. It was $20 for a single shwarma sandwich, and it was most certainly not worth the price.

Placed an online order to go: Greek fries and a side of gyro meat to throw on top, since sandwiches and bowls are $13-$16! Insane. I saw the bowls, they're not large. Not a great deal by any stretch, but that's lunch hour in Seattle I guess. The fries were soggy, barely any feta on top, and the "gyro" meat is just freakin' weird. It tastes like lamb meatballs. Not at all what I expected. On top of this, my order was not ready and I ended up waiting 15 minutes. Three people in line in front of me and three behind, but just one guy behind the counter taking and prepping orders, tickets popping out of the machine left and right until he cried uncle for some help. "Wow it got busy fast, went from no orders to backed up!" Yeah dude, it's 12:15. People get off at 12, call it in, take a piss and start walking to the restaurant, just like every lunch rush every day in a busy commercial core. I also dislike having to wait in line for a pickup order. I'm in a hurry. If you can't accommodate, I can go somewhere else. Just leave my order out! I did grab a jar of grilled preserved lemons to take home. Not sure what to use them for but they look delicious. All in all, not great, again.

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
