    10-14-25. Sweet cream pancakes. Fantastic!

10-10-25. What a fantastic spot. I was staying at a friend's house for a few days and one of his neighbors recommended this spot. Went there with 4 others and they all ordered a variation of steak and eggs while I ordered the pork chops and eggs. All the breakfasts come with home fries or grits and your choice of bread. On our waitress Amanda's recommendation, we also ordered a stack of pancakes which she said was one of their "signature" items, which were a little different than your average pancakes because they were made with a sweet cream batter. She wasn't lying ....... they were awesome. They have some good looking lunch and dinner selections as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It's not a big place and it seemed like it's always crowded (which is an awesome sign you're getting good food with fast turnover). The wait was very reasonable.....only 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. They have quite a selection of baked items, so we felt the need to also order a few pieces of assorted pies to go. The food was really good, the prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent......all in a comfortable, friendly setting which made for a very pleasant dining experience. I'll definitely be returning.

Enjoyed shrimp scampi at Mom's Kitchen for dinner in Lake Worth Beach. Not ever a disappointment whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Come to Mom's Kitchen every few weeks and today's special was snapper Franchese which I jumped at the minute the waitress spoke those words. Turned out the portion is huge and well made. Never had a bad meal here. And their breakfast is huge too.

If you are looking for that home cooked, all vintage style restaurant, this is the place! Open since 1962, they are mom's style cooking with so many great options on the menu. Also, be sure to check out all the daily specials and the group of dessert on the chalkboard. We decided to go with breakfast for lunch and had the Italian omelet with well-done hashbrowns and an English muffin. My friend had the Challah French toast with bacon and 2 eggs. There was plenty of good home cooked food, and we shared. The omelet was perfectly made (could have been a little larger), but delicious Hadhbrown cooked the way I liked it. The French toast was plentiful, and the bacon was crispy. Jo-jo, our server, was beyond sweet, and she made sure that my ice tea was full at all times. Small little place. we had no wait today, but I heard you could wait 30 min or more some mornings.

    Do you do take outs?

YES - LOVE this place & we are now only doing Curb side pick up. We call (they prefer) in advance , place our order, tell them time, give our credit card # for payment/ generous tip. Then when we arrive we let tell them. They place order in car.

    Where is the menu?

They gave us a paper menu when we got there. But you can order a la carte.

There was a healthy crowd, but we were seated immediately and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and contemporary. We started with Bloody Marys and passion fruit mimosas--all excellent. (Although they don't salt the cocktail rims, so sodium enthusiasts beware.) Breakfast and lunch are served all day, and pretty much everything on the menu sounded good. We went with the oxtail and grits, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, plus breakfast potatoes, sausage links and hash brown casserole. Exceptional. All of it. The oxtail was fall-apart tender, with a rich gravy over creamy, flavorful grits that had exactly the right consistency. The biscuits were huge and fluffy with a good crumble. And the avocado toast wasn't some sad little schmear of avocado--it came piled high with avocado, tomato and onion. Actually, everything was generously portioned. Come hungry and be prepared to roll out the door. One thing I especially appreciated: they were working on improvements to the menu that day and asking customers to try and give feedback on a potential new corned beef hash dish. There's something great about a locally owned restaurant actively engaging its customers and always looking for ways to get even better.
