My mate has been going to this location since he was a boy with his twin brother. He showed me this place and I've never found anything like it before. This has to be a local favorite! You get such great huge portions of food for a great price with such a family orientated friendly fun staff. I could eat moms kitchen every morning for breakfast and love my life. Their home fries are to die for. And let me tell ya. I'm a picky one about my home fries and every time I go here they are cooked perfectly! And guess what the best part is. Let's say you're a vampire like myself and enjoy sleeping in later then most and still have the taste for breakfast, you can come to this place and they will still treat you like it's 7am all over again. I've gone to this place several times in the last several years. The experience was always the same. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly. The food is adequate and the portions are large. Do not expect anything fancy, you won't get it. This is a you get what you pay for place. If you are one of those healthy hung up eaters, don't go. Everytime I go here the staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. Its difficult to find a place where the food is truly "home made" and not just mass produced from frozen foods. This is definitely my permanent breakfast spot. read more

I was in the mood to have breakfast for lunch, so my girlfriend who lives in the lake worth area told me about this place. We came together to sit down for a nice meal. Nothing fancy here, hole in the wall, and chill "mom and pop" spot. My friend had the spinach lasagna and she enjoyed it. I had the momma's ultimate breakfast which consisted of 3 extra large pancakes, 2 sausage patties, 2 bacon strips, 2 eggs and a choice of home fries, potato's, toast or a biscuit. I've been going here for years. Normally the food is not bad. Yesterday I decided to try the Eggs Benedict. It was awful. Definitely packaged Hollandaise sauce and they don't even toast the English muffin, weird! Anyway, I would normally not throw a place under the bus for one bad meal but when I complained, yes it was removed from the bill. But based on the dog S*#t move charging me $2.50 for the hash browns I did eat on the plate, then I owe you a dog S*#t review in return. And based on that alone, I will never repeat. Excellent choice for any time of the day. The food is consistently good. It has many 'usuals' that are there. I have eaten everything from Italian, seafood, to all the breakfast specials and can never complain. Place is tight for space but tables turnover quickly when they are busy. Found this little gem when I moved to Wellington last year. Been here about 5 times since. Place is small so expect a wait especially on the weekends. Sometimes I sit at the counter which is not bad. Service is quick and wait staff friendly. A true mom and pop locale. Portions sizes are human so you get enough without having to throw away or take home. Prices very reasonable. A local favorite once I moved to the area. Breakfast is always good, no complaints. They keep the food moving, so there isn't ever a long wait (except shortly after church). Lunch is yum. I tend to stick with my tuna melt and sautéed onions. I asked for mushrooms once, but they were from a jar, and I noticed the texture immediately. Request fresh mushrooms and they are glad to oblige. We happened upon this place to avoid a traffic jam on the turnpike heading north. The atmosphere was old school and we had a short wait, but the greeter and server were very friendly. Our lunch was delicious with a cool twist. The tuna melt was grilled with onions. My salad was very fresh and loaded with ingredients. Best blue cheese dressing I ever tasted! On the Up side, it has a cozy atmosphere, about half of the staff is really pleasant and this is the first diner in S.Florida to actually bring my potatoes out the way I ordered them- well done. So for those admirable qualities, Mom's gets a 3 stars in my book. I left full, albeit with a dangerously high dose of sodium in a effort to create a Taste on my pallet, but Full nonetheless and for a price that was very reasonable.. But, unfortunately, Mom's definitely left me wanting more.. Not more of their food, I'll likely never be back, but Wanting More from a meal, more to delight my tastebuds, and more from a Diner. Liked alot but didn't love it. Pretty down to earth no frills hole in the wall restaurant. Good service, waitress staff very likeable. I had the eggplant lasagna, very good, nice portion, homemade like most things here. Wife had a chicken wrap also generous portion, tasty which she enjoyed. My mother had an omelette looked good and she said was good. One big shortfall was my mom's (no pun intended) side order of fries, which was clearly reheated fries, big no no, fries were awful. Definitely the definition of term dive, but that is a part of its charm. Staff was excellent. My husband enjoyed his omelette. My eggs, home fries and bacon were okay. Eggs not cooked to medium as I ordered. Their home fries were chopped fresh potatoes that were more like deep fried, Not true home fries. The bacon was hard to eat, as in hard. Not great. I have been here a handful of times on Sunday morning for breakfast. The restaurant is really small and it is always slammed with people when we go so we always have to wait. I had to give one star due to the poor customer service my family and I received. We went on a Sunday Morning, which of course is arguably the busiest breakfast day of the week. We waited for our 4 top to open up. When our name was called my Mom entered in first and the girl in front of the counter directed my Mother to the right. If you have never been here, it is LOUD! My Mother had a hard time hearing her and asked her to repeat herself. The girl yelled the right!! My Mother looked surprised at how rude the girl was and said ok Jes** Chr***! The girl turned to my Mother and yelled Jes** Chr*** back at my Mother. I heard her say this and I barked back to not speak to my Mother that way. She then LIED ABOUT SAYING IT!! I wanted to leave but my Dad wanted to speak with the Manager. We ordered our food, ate, and waited for 15-20 additional minutes to finally speak with the Manager. He was apologetic and said he would speak with the girl and even went so far as to say he was going to fire her because she works 1 day a week.
