This was a planned trip. We have never been before but my mother and grandmother are breakfast people,and we search out diner-esque places when they come to visit. Moms Kitchen is relatively close to my house. The food is reasonably priced with GENEROUS portions. I had the Mom's Supreme w/chicken, it was delicious. It came with hash browns topped with diced peppers and onions cheese and two eggs (any way you like) and you also had the option to add ham bacon sausage or chicken and steak for a small up charge. My Mother had the Moms Ultimate Breakfast which came with everything and the kitchen sink! 3 Pancakes potatoes 2eggs 2bacon 2sausage and an English Muffin. It was overwhelming and she loved it. My grandmother loves biscuits and gravy so that's what she gets EVERYTIME. So she got the egg combo with potatoes bacon and biscuit with a cup of sausage gravy. Everything was good but the gravy was so-so. She's kind of a connoisseur of biscuits and gravy lol. But "They weren't awful" in her own words! Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The food was great the service was good and the atmosphere was quaint. If you want a homely feel with home cooked food stop in here! Love it! read more

Very old fashioned diner like spot that has been around for years. We went for dinner after going to the Movies of Lake Worth which is within walking distance. Small place that was almost full at 6 PM. They have early bird specials from 4 to 6. Large filling dinner platters from $11 to $16, We had grilled pork chops, 2 large ones for $13 with soup or salad and two sides. Wife had very good chicken marsala (they were out of veal marsala) for $14. Will come back for breakfast sometime. read more

This hole in the wall serves good southern home style breakfast and lunch fare. The Southern Benny (poached eggs on biscuits with sausage patties topped with sausage gravy) with a side of grits was delicious! The pancakes and hash browns were good too. Ate here last week and the quality of the food has gone down to a disappointing level. Veggies were so over cooked they were mush and pretty much tasteless. The lettuce in the salad was limp. The meat was inedible. It's being getting worse over time and it has now hit bottom. Won't be visiting any more. read more

Mom's kitchen usually we're always looking for new places we eat out for breakfast 3 or 4 times a week with our spouses or with friends so the other day I had got together with some of my friends there was four of us and decided we go to moms kitchen turned out to be a great suggestion this is the type of place that remind you of a small town restaurant it serves breakfast lunch and dinner and we haven't eaten there before and everything is always consistent always good They have excellent service that have been with them for years not that we go to moms that often but every time we do we see the same waitresses house the last time we were there now to get to the food we had one of their specials which was two pancakes sausage bacon and scrambled eggs well I tell you they know what they're doing the coffee is delicious when they served three pancakes and eggs pancakes had a beautiful golden brown color the way they should be the sausage and bacon if you chose were served on the side in a separate plate I guess if you didn't want to mix the meat with the Syrup Nice touch the server checked often to make sure our coffee was hot or if we needed more so if you are in the mood to have breakfast or lunch or dinner and a nice little place that feels like home check out mom's kitchen you will not be disappointed! read more

We use to LOVE going here but over the years it has declined in quality. Biscuits are usually hard on the bottoms. House salad for dinner is like yard clippings thrown in a tiny bowl. We use to order breakfast to go alot but not anymore. You order meat with eggs and grease is just thrown in box on top of eggs with either steak, bacon or sausage patties. They have gotten very sloppy. read more

Best Chilli on Lake Worth Rd, the chef salad is Huge and should be at 12 bucks, Fish and chips is not as good as Bud's but its close, The last time I had meatloaf somebody microwaved it normally its awesome. Breakfast is awesome, the sausage gravy is the best in the area. read more

A lot of people apparently like this place but I ended up here for lunch and it was fairly awful. All I can speak to is lunch, but everything looked like it came out of the microwave. I had the fish sandwich. It was a small, thin, tasteless, non-descript brown triangle on bread. You know, "just like mom would've made it." Even the fish in a McDonalds fish sandwich looks meatier and healthier than what I was served. All of the sandwiches had a bag of chips thrown down next to them. Everybody in my party's meal looked just as bad as mine. The place was busy, though, and the waitstaff was efficient. I wouldn't eat here again, although everyone over in the 70-85 year old age range seemed to love the place and the food. So disappointed in the service we had recently. We are semi-regular customers. We wanted to substitute sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes and was told there would be an extra charge. I know this sounds minimal, but really?? An up-charge for tomatoes? We also felt very rushed because there was a line outside waiting for tables. My plate was taken away and I wasn't finished eating. We had breakfast there yesterday for the first time. Very good food. I had french toast (which was about the best I've had) and also biscuits and gravy. My husband ordered biscuits/gravy with eggs. It was outstanding! It will be my new regular weekend breakfast place. It's kind of small so I bet it's hard to get a seat when it's busiest but I'd be willing to wait. Service was ok, too. Stopped in for a late breakfast. Place was full. Good sign. Western omelet was nicely done with a good amount of filler. Grits were tasty. A man at the next table had ordered corned beef and cabbage. It looked great. I'm going back soon to try that for dinner. Servers are friendly too. read more

One of the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I never really witness open racism until I walked into the doors of Mom's Kitchen. If making a newcomer feel uncomfortable with their job then they surely did that no problem. The hostess was this lady who looked half dead but she was so rude and had no type of customer appreciation for service. I was told to wait 10 minutes for a two table but ended up waiting almost 20 because they let two other people before us that wasn't supposed to be before us but we let go. Finally got seated and we were pushed in the corner next to a bathroom which was completely unacceptable and I felt disrespected and I will never ever tell anyone to go here if you're not white. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had and I will never ever ever go back to this restaurant. read more
