Maybe we ordered pizza on an off night or something, but unfortunately we weren't too impressed with either of the pizzas. The reviews are great and so we were sure we were going to have yummy pies. The white pizza was pretty bland and while the al pastor is a pretty great concept, it too was bland. The service was fast and friendly though! We might try again some other time. Again, maybe it was just an off night. read more

Our family had a fantastic meal at Mondo's!Our pizzas and salads were delicious. The atmosphere was described as "no frills", and while that might be accurate, when you're tired and in need of a quick and tasty meal, that works! The lemon vinaigrette and ranch dressings were very tasty, and the salads were very large servings. There were seven of us in our party and we ordered three different pizzas. It was pretty busy when we were there, so we had to wait a little bit, but not really a long time. The server brought us a free order of mozzarella sticks. That was a hit! They were fresh, tasty, and hot! Our pizzas were the California Garden, regular cheese, and a Memphis BBQ Chicken. The crust was flavorful and perfectly chewy. The marinara tasted fresh. The service was great and we all enjoyed our meals. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely eat here again. read more

Delicious La Romana pizza at Mondo's tonight! Bustling business on a Saturday around dinner time. Pizza was fantastic - perfect crust, fresh tasting sauce, topped with mozzarella, feta, Canadian bacon, Roma tomatoes and fresh basil. Pizza here is bomb! I had the al pastor one and one with pineapple ham and jalapeño and tasty!! Only complaint i have is the al pastor pizza didnt have cilantro which not sure if it's because it was a smaller size? But it still had really good flavor and the crust was perfect! read more

1st off my wife ruined me of pizza she can eat it everyday with that said if I have to get pizza I will choose Mondo's every time. NY pizza is my favorite and I've had some of the best: Difara's, the original Grimaldi's, Lucali's, Juliana's... I'd put this place right up there with my favorites. I wasn't expecting this in Denver of all places. Their pizza dough/crust was probably the best I've had, with just the right balance of crispy, soft, and slightly chewy. NYers say it's their water that makes their pizza and bagels so good, but that no longer seems true to me. I had quite an ordeal with a late train arrival today from Glenwood Springs. I don't want to go into all the details, but they went beyond going out of their way by waiting for me when I ran into a several delays. Food here is delicious! Me and my husband had the Alfredo pasta without chicken, the white pizza (also without chicken) and the cheese ravioli. They catered to our vegetarian needs which was appreciated. The portions were great especially for the price point. Our favorite was the cheese ravioli. We ordered the white pizza after seeing all the comments about it and we were not disappointed. The Alfredo pasta was nothing special wouldn't order it next time but still enjoyable. Food we ordered would be enough for 3-4 people we just wanted to have some leftovers. read more

Since moving to Green Valley Ranch, this is our new go-to pizza place. We usually order to go and take it home. It travels well! All pizzas are made fresh and to order. I found out about this place a few weeks ago when our boss brought us some lunch. I was able to have a few slices of their different pies and fell in LOVE with the Al Pastor, the avocado salsa it comes with is more than tremendous. I've been back a few times just to buy a full pizzas worth. It's a pizza that you can actually reheat and it tastes just as good. Highly, highly, highly recommended. They have signs for daily slice specials, but I want the whole thing. Has always been the saMe guy working and he is super nice too. Do yourself a favor and stop in! read more

I'm not a pizza eater.. I know, I must be crazy. My 3 companions said it was the best pizza EVER. And they know pizza. I just enjoyed watching the guy throw/ spin the pizza dough in the air! I ordered cheese ravioli with sauce and cheese. Never, ever have I had such a tasty, delicious stuffed ravioli. The sauce and amount of cheese on top was plentiful. There was so much yummy stuffing in the raviolis. I just don't think their pizza is that amazing. I order a pepperoni and jalapeño it was super greasy. I also other mozzarella cheese sticks totally bad like old and like it comes from an old frozen package. Not my choice! didn't eat hardly any this greasy old food. This pizza was fantastic. My husband and I have been waiting and hoping for a pizzeria to pop up in our area besides the typical delivery joints. Mondos did not disappoint. The restaurant has a great neighborhood feel, the portions are generous, and the food is packed with flavor.
