of mailman business and dropping off supplies at my family's spot. I was craving A WRAP OR SOMETHING SIMILAR WITH EXTRA CONDIMENTS(y'all know how I do). So I had to dig deep and remember I've eaten at this establishment before but never reviewed this place yet. I ordered the chicken and chorizo quesadilla (homemade corn tortilla)... FLAWLESS. The chicken was seasoned well balanced. Chorizo didn't taste like it was cheap packaged meat. Everything to my point of view was fresh and good quality. But I must say I'd wish the ratio of bread to meat. I would of preferred a bit more meat...but there is an option for that. Bathroom was decent.. overall the night was ended beautifully with a live performance from some local artist who was singing karaoke which was also beautiful. Yeah I was mostly paying attention to my late dinner but anyway. It was goood. It's all good. The staff were good. Food high quality made to order. Please support the locals !

I recently visited San Jose Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The Birria Tacos were amazing and the added touch of pineapple in the Jarritos made it a unique and delicious combo. The generous bowl of Consome...

was the perfect complement and set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The chips and onions with a sliced lime to start were also a great touch. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a quick stop before the game since it's one block from Yankee Stadium or even for a night out with friends. Overall, I recommend them and can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

My friend ordered the French toast and they gave him pancakes. When he asked why he got the wrong order, they said no. Bacon was as hard as rock, fries were undercooked. Probably better if you order in Spanish or if you order...

I've eaten in this deli/ restaurant several times and let me tell you they never disappoint me! It's been recently expanded so there is more seating area. It's much more spacious and family friendly. I always order the same thing; torta de milanesa de pollo con todo. That's a chicken cutlet sandwich with everything on it but the Mexican style, and it's so delicious! This time however I ordered for breakfast Chilaquiles con carne enchilada extra crispy. Ok let me tell you why this is a big deal, I don't eat chilaquiles at restaurants, I only eat my mother in laws chilaquiles. And when I found that a resturant can make this dish just like hers, my brain exploded into little pieces. Ok I'm over exaggerating, but seriously it was amazing!

My daughter had the pancakes with bacon and they were so fluffy. I will definitely be coming back for more breakfast dishes and I've already recommended this place to all my friends and family! Oh and the staff is always so friendly...

I ate here yesterday September 23rd, 2023 between 10:30pm 11:15pm So I need to address the ELEPHANT in the room.....Was I served JOLLOF RICE?!! Because when I had seen my plate come out the kitchen... I won't lie i literally thought it was JOLLOF RICE... but after tasting it, I immediately knew it wasn't. A place where family is definitely welcomed! This space is generous with food, they have live karaoke, the waiters are very kind and professional. If you ask them to explain a dish they explain it and give you a heads up on the spice level. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant and vibrant, festive and the food is on the money. Delightful! They had a comfortable indoor seating area, really nice staff, and great food! I ordered the carne asada tacos, Mexican style! Not only were they DELICIOUS, the meal was super inexpensive. I actually walked over from the mall complex so if you need to park, that's a really close, reliable option. Amazing hole in the wall close to the Yankee Stadium! Incredibly authentic. Get the burrito, it's flavorful, hefty, and fresh. The tacos were great as well, chicken was dry. Prices can't be beat. The service is friendly, and the interior is warm, casual, inviting. They have tres leches and flan for dessert as well so treat yourself!

Our definitive Yankee Stadium spot to eat! Great chips (with refill) and salsa (cilantro-heavy). And there might just be random karaoke happening in the early evening! We love it. The food here is far better than any overpriced item you'll find at the stadium. Plus, you're supporting a local business. Love the green sauce. Honestly this is the BEST Mexican Restaurant I have tried ! The staff is friendly and polite. The ambiance is beautiful and welcoming and clean. The food was amazing. I had the tacos Al pastor which were delicious and my fiancé had chilaquiles which he loved. We also had a side of beans and rice and that was great too ! The portions are a good size and the food is reasonably priced. If you are in the area definitely come in and try this family own business won't be disappointed. read more

Omg the shrimp was amazing. We got shrimp nachos and they're so generous with the shrimp. Shrimp tacos were good and the huarache we had was amazing as well. We ate here this afternoon and it was delicious. I had a mole chicken burrito: perfect. Note: they are currently remodeling half the eating area so seating can be tight if it's busy. And it should be busy because their food is fabulous. And you should wait if it's busy because it will be totally worth the wait. read more

Come here for some decent Mexican food,it's a small spot, one side is like a deli the other has table seating(maybe like 4-5 tables) sometimes places like this can be a breath of fresh air when it's the only authentic Mexican option in a neighborhood where there's a Taco Bell and chipotle.the food is good, the prices aren't bad and they accept Apple Pay even tho they charge you more when you pay via debit/credit, I usually get the burrito which is a pretty good size and tastes pretty good, my only gripe is the hot sauce isn't that good. Overall if you want a quick bite into some authentic Mexican food, this is your spot read more

I see the various pastas and ravioli but I want the big suckas. Small ravioli? C'Mon! I made the best red sauce that I will drown these raviolis in a sea of tomatoes. The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! When I came home, my wife made the perfect Sunday dinner. Those raviolis came straight from the 70s. Simply perfect. God Bless us, everyone.

We were greeted kindly by the staff sat down handed a set of dominoes to play with while we waited for our food and drank some water. The butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries also delicious and the fries were cooked so nicely that it was crispy and soft at the same time per bite. The mom's butter chicken platter was delicious they gave the right amount of sauce, the pita bread was delicious and soft, the salad that it was paired with was good too the rice was decently portioned. Everything was definitely tasty. Not one complaint of any of the meals. We did not wait long for the food. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I want to come back to try more things in the menu that's how good the food was and our group agreed to also come back with us. This spot is definitely a place to try. They have a beautiful quote right near the bar that really spoke to us, especially during these times it said "you are exactly where you need to be." It makes you stop for a second and really take it in and just live in the moment ... especially living in New York, where you have to be always go go go fast fast fast. If you're looking for great Mexican food near Yankee Stadium, this spot is a must-visit! They have so many options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. One of the best parts is that they're open until 12 AM, making it a perfect stop after a game or a late-night craving.
