Love the atmosphere here and it's always packed! The food is a hit or miss though. I would recommend getting a couple plates and sharing all of them. Mango dragonade- it was yummy!! Mango, dragonfruit and a splash of orange juice Orange juice - freshly squeezed, classic Baba ganoush- it was sooooo good: kind of on the sweeter side. Wish they gave more bread with this though. Syrini with mango custard- I was trying to decide between this or the crepes with ricotta and passion fruit custard. It was really good for the first couple bites and I got tired of it and wanted to eat something else. Def better to share this. Tuna salad sandwich - so good! It wasn't too cold and I say that because typically I don't like salad sandwiches because they're cold. My friends really enjoyed the Humshaka here so I'll try that next time.

My friend recommended we check it out as it was on our way to The Grove. The aesthetics were cool. After a 30min wait the staff was able to get us in with no reservation. We didn't expect this as there was a line going out the door and it was a hour and a half before closing time. Hats off to the staff as they were clearly juggling a lot yet remained friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. Dishes were decently priced but taste wise they didn't really stand out. Cappuccino on the other hand was great.

I came across Mood on Third after seeing a ton of great reviews, and I totally get why people talk about it. The vibe is real. It feels lively, multicultural, and honestly kind of fun just sitting there and hearing different languages all around you. It makes the whole experience feel a little more elevated and interesting, like you're part of something happening. We didn't have reservations and still got seated right away, which was a huge plus, but MAKE RESERVATIONS because that's literally the first thing they ask and it just makes everything smoother. Service is where this place really shines. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like there were multiple people taking care of our table at all times. The staff is incredibly attentive, constantly checking in, asking what you need next, making sure everything is moving. The food came out fast too, which I appreciated. You can tell they're really on top of their operation, and the energy from the team is genuinely warm and welcoming. Now, the reason I can't give it a full five stars is the seating situation. It's tight. Like, really tight. You are basically side by side with strangers, close enough to hear their entire conversation while they hear yours. You can actually feel how slightly uncomfortable people are when they first sit down, including us. I get that they're trying to maximize space, but it definitely takes away from the overall comfort. As for the food, it was good, just not something I'd personally come back for. It didn't wow me flavor-wise, even though everything looked great and came out quickly. Also, I always find it a little funny when they immediately ask "sparkling or tap," because you already know they're trying to nudge that bill up. Not a dealbreaker, just something I notice every time. Overall, I'd give it about a 4.5. It's absolutely worth coming at least once for the vibe and the service alone, but I do think the food could use a little more flavor to match everything else they're doing right.

The place was great. It looks modern and fresh, I really like the stylish design. We came around 11 am on Sunday and it was pretty busy, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. We didn't wait long though, just like 5 minutes. Service was quick, everyone was super nice, and everything looked clean. Food was really good. I got the ricotta crepes with passion fruit curd. It was a perfect mix of sweetness. Crepes were fresh and my cappuccino was also really good. We tried baba ganoush too, it was interesting and nice to try. My boyfriend got the hash brown plate and added 2 eggs and bacon. He really liked everything. We would definitely come back again, just next time with a reservation.

My friend and I went for brunch on Monday morning. There was plenty of street parking (pay by text) on 3rd street. It was a great space, open, cute/trendy, and plenty of seats. The host asked if we had a reservation but luckily it wasn't super busy and they were able to seat us. Server was nice and friendly. We wanted to share the pancakes or waffles but the server recommended the passionfruit crepes, which were delicious. The ricotta was very light and sweet and the heavy passionfruit sauce complemented it perfectly. We ordered the following: - Mooood latte- there was a dragon berry cold foam on this iced latte. It was very good. - Mimosas - Eggs Benedict- the eggs on this benedict was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this dish and it was also a very big portion. They gave me the option of putting a protein on it but I just had it as it was. - Tartufo Scramble Sandwich- open sandwich with mushrooms and eggs with a perfect balance of truffle. I enjoyed this dish too. With 2 mimosas, crepes and everything above, came out to about $100. I would definitely return as I would like to try the other items. Both my friend and I enjoyed our brunch at mood.

Sometimes, you walk into a place and roll your eyes and say: "That's so LA" Sometimes you walk into a place with a smile as you look at the food and go:"That's so LA!" It really shouldn't take you long to figure out which I did when I ate here. This is exactly the kind of food you SHOULD find in Beverly Hills, and all credit due there is quite a lot of joy to be had when you eat here for breakfast. Our server was patient while we very eagerly parked to sample their offerings, and I really have to talk about the way it felt like the way our food plated, it was if we plucked it straight from a gourmet cooking show. And the way everything tasted fresh was enough to make my taste buds beg for more, I'm very sure you'll be in a good mood after stopping by. While the prices initially made me raise my eyebrows, with the quality I'm getting, I completely understand the LA experience now. Cheers!

Dragon friut cream latte was good. Mango puree and syrinki is interesting. It's quite good for brunch. But I think the looks are better than the taste. The ambience is nice and chill. Similar vibes as great white.

fyi it's pretty much street parking we were able to find a spot in the residential area nearby. the restaurant is an indoor/outdoor vibe with 2 levels. I was greeted by two very nice girls when I arrived. Just know that you need a reservation on Sundays--the place is packed and definitely more of a scene than I expected, which honestly makes me hesitant to come back. Parking is another challenge. There's no valet and it's very difficult to find parking, so plan extra time if you decide to go. One thing they mention quickly that you should really pay attention to: they limit your table to an hour and a half. I personally think that's a pretty frustrating policy. Going out to eat is expensive these days, so it's worth choosing places where you can relax and enjoy your time. That said, the food was spot on--fresh and very good. It's a family-owned restaurant run by a Ukrainian family, which is something I do appreciate and think is worth supporting. So now you know reader: great food and fresh ingredients, but tough parking and a strict 1 1/2-hour time limit. Up to you whether it's worth it.

Mood has a cute outdoor brunch vibe. We didn't have a reservation in a Monday Holiday for brunch, but were able to get a table quickly. I do recommend reservations as it was very busy and when we left there was a lot long line. I ordered the mood latte and the shashuka. Both weee really good. We also shared the mini pancakes, and those are nothing special. I'd prefer one larger pancake with better flavor and consistency. My friend ordered steak and eggs and liked her meal. Overall it is a cute brunch spot with decent food, and a good vibe.

MOOD was definitely a VIBE! I came here for brunch with some girlfriends while traveling out of town. We came on a Monday without reservations and were seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the Shakshuka ($19), Steak & Eggs ($28), and the Overnight Oats ($16). I always have to order an alcoholic beverage while I'm out at brunch, so I also ordered the Hugo Lavender ($14) - Prosecco, Elderflower, Lavender, Lime. Everything was beautifully presented and colorful. I had to snap some pictures/videos before everyone dug in. The table fell quiet quickly after we tasted the food because everything was delicious. I would definitely love to come back during better weather since we happened to be visiting during a rainstorm.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and do be warned as they seat you if you made a reservation and they work like clockwork. Luckily there was an opening and they had us seated fairly quickly. Interior was very well decorated, including the bathroom, and had even two floors with shade on the top floor ! We ordered the Red Velvet, Mood Latte, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and the steak and eggs. The red velvet was really delicious and tasted like a lemonade ! They set the alcohol aside if you wanted as a shot or with the juice. The mood latte was your typical latte but the cream was a great addition; I would've just liked more espresso in it. The eggs Benedict was a pleasantly huge portion and I definitely recommend adding a protein for additional flavor! Would love to try again when I visit LA!

In the mood for brunch? We made a mid-week reservation, and the two of us were lucky to be seated at a roomy 4-top on the shaded patio during a busy lunch. While I waited for my companion, I was offered an ice cold water with lemon. Once she arrived, the server brought a welcome carafe of water, and we ordered. Breakfast is available all day, so I opted for the Eggs Benedict ($17). The soft poached eggs with cream cheese, sauteed spinach, sliced avocado and hollandaise on a brioche bun were perfectly satisfying. My friend ate the Kale and Romaine Caesar ($18), which has quite large croutons. We savored our meal and lingered over our water as we caught up on each other's travels for a couple of hours. What a darling little place! Started off with a latte to wake up. One of us got the eggs Benedict and the other got the American Simple Plate. The sauce on the Benedict was yummy but holy guacamole! The pancakes and their syrup was AMAZING. Highly recommend! There is no inside seating but plenty of heaters for when it's cold. Service was very fast and friendly! I went for a work breakfast during the weekday and it was not packed but I could see this place getting realllll busy during the weekend. Plenty of street parking during the weekday. I got the eggs benedict, which had a very nice, light hollandaise sauce, and my girlfriend got the shakshuka, which she loved. The ambiance of this place is definitely what you'd expect from a trendy place in Beverly Hills, so you can decide if that's right for you. The service is great, but maybe a little uncoordinated because four different waitresses asked us the same questions within a 5 minute time period, which was a little annoying but nothing crazy. Pleasantly surprised and excited about this place. It's a fusion of Ukranian, Mediterranean, French, American foods and they did a magnificent job! Love the attention to detail and time they took to make everything so nice. We got the mezze mood platter with different sides and they are the best I've had... baba ganoush, hummus, beet hummus, and something else. Fresh bread. Mango dragonade drink what perfect and refreshing. Latte amazing. We also got the greek style salad with steak. The steak was so juicy inside and just enough crispy outside. My favorite. They are open breakfast and lunch and they said they will be open for dinner soon. Interior decor is warm, cozy and comfortable. Feels high end enough yet every day enough. Thank you for making our dining experience extra special Kicked things off with their buckthorn tea--it was cozy, comforting, and just what I needed to settle in. Their dragonberry matcha was fabulous. The housemade dragonfruit cold foam on top sweet, refreshing, and almost too pretty to drink The avocado toast with lox was next-level. The salmon was shaped like a rose--so pretty --and the whole thing tasted as good as it looked. The Eggs Quinoa Bowl was so satisfying. that beet hummus was the MVP. And the syrniki--oh my fluffy goodness. These little pancakes were heavenly, and the mango purée underneath was amazing. I also tried something new: their humshuka. Mood in Los Angeles is a true gem that just opened up a few months ago! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance grabs you - chic, cozy, and effortlessly cool. The menu is also amazing. They have typical brunch items but also have lots of traditional, delicious Ukrainian food as well. The drinks are just as impressive; the signature coffee is sweet and creative and balanced! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations as well. If you want something to grab and go you can also get coffee and a pastry if you're in a rush. If you're looking for a place that delivers on both atmosphere and flavor, Mood is it. Prices are on the reasonable side too and there is also tons of street parking. read more

The food was amazing and the restaurant beautifully decorated with a cool breeze blowing on the upper deck area. Mia was our server and she attentively listened to our questions and answered them completely so we could make good choices. My only complaint would be the policy of allowing dogs in the restaurant. The table next to me had miniature greyhound dog which reached up and put his paw on my table, not cute but not everyone likes dogs where they eat. At another table the lady actually had her dog in his dog bed in her lap and actually pulled out a dog bowl and the dog ate. Worst service ever. Never left a review before but our waiter sat us down at a table gave us the menus then 15 min later (after not offering us water or anything) forced us to change table not once but twice after being sat for over 20 min! For no reason. We spent more time playing musical chairs then being served. We ended up leaving after our miserable experience. We didn't even try the food after all of that but it look really mediocre. Don't go there unless you're not hungry. read more

Second time here. The food is delicious, pricey but delicious. I have only been seated on the patio which is fairly basic but comfortable. I am a soda fan and truthfully getting the one small bottle doesn't cut it. Now my main gripe is the service. Very nice for sure but slower than molasses. Not the place to go if you're on your lunch hour. read more

All I can say is great things about @mooood.la. They opened this past July and I can see why it's become a popular spot. Every dish we ordered I loved. Especially, the Meze Platter and Tuna Tataki Salad. It has a variety of influences from American, Middle Eastern, and Ukrainian. I really enjoyed the dishes. I'm very particular about lattes. And now, I know I can always rely on this restaurant and being in a good mood. Here's what we ordered. Mood Latte $6 Vanilla latte with latte art $8 Mezze Mood Set $25 Shashuka $19 Steak & Eggs $25 Smoked Salmon $9 Syrniki with Mango $19 Tuna Tataki Salad $24 Truffle french fries $8 I'm looking forward to coming back and having some repeat dishes and maybe trying some others as well. read more

For a place called mood, they really know how to ambiance. The patio perfectly captures a relaxed, clean and cozy brunch vibe! If you're looking for a airy and fresh patio space for brunch, add this to your list! I arrived at about noon on a Saturday with a party of 3. The restaurant was pretty busy but not crowded. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were seated immediately. The staff was very very attentive and the service was surprisingly super speedy, especially considering how busy they were. The wait staff checked in on us a lot, almost too much, but we felt well taken care-of. Food: TARTUFO SCRAMBLE SANDWICH: Open-faced sandwich, more like a toast. This was a flavor bomb! Sometimes truffle can get overwhelming, but this was perfectly truffled. The eggs were dark in color and full of flavor. So yummy. I think calling it a sandwich is a little misleading, but it was delicious! SYRNIKI with mango custard: light and sweet. One order comes with 3 little "pancakes." If you've never had syrniki before, don't expect pancake. It is more like a blintz with a cheesy inside, reminiscent of ricotta. I thought the mango custard with fruit and nuts went well with the syrniki. Sweet without being overly sweet. Pretty tasty but not too filling. Vanilla basque cheesecake: More creamy and less cakey than other basque cheesecakes I've had, more cheese and less cake. The vanilla was described as a "vanilla Parmesan" flavor, but we would not have known that there was parmesan if it wasn't said. Overall, the cake was rich and dense without being too sweet. We were able to share these two dishes and dessert among 3 people. It left us feeling satisfied but not too full. The portions aren't small. Side note: I loved the plates and dishes! Super cute. The quality of the food was excellent, but it was a tad too expensive, as it often is in LA. What sets this place apart is the ambiance. They really know how to set the mood! read more

We stumbled upon this place for its trendiness and how beautiful the food looked. I ordered the Hash Browns Your Way! and chose poached eggs and bacon. I have never seen hash browns so crispy and large before! The eggs were perfectly poached, and the bacon was crispy. I had no expectations when I went here last weekend. I thought it was just another brunch place in LA. Boy, was I wrong! The food was soooo good. I went with my friends for a bridesmaids appreciation. Everyone loved their food! The steak was smoky and immaculate. The pastrami sandwich was crispy and good. The avocado salad was crunchy with the hazelnuts and the dressing tasted absolutely delicious. However, the most delicious of them all was the Shakshuka. Holy! It was mindblowingly good. Additionally, the restaurant itself was very cute and well decorated. The server, Sophia, was extremely thoughtful and nice. They have an incredible menu- I wanted try everything, but decided on the Hash Brown Your Way! Their hash browns are big, round and thick. It's delicious and filling. It also comes with avo smash, beetroot hummus, poached egg and greens. I also tried the Passion Fruit Tea. It's a green tea mixed with passion fruit and it's AMAZING. In the mood of exploring more new place, there Mood was, popping on my Yelp account just at the right time. Knowing everyone else in town might think about the same thing, I quickly made my reservation for Saturday brunch, to find out the time my friends and I arrived, apparently our Yelp reservation didn't go through for some reason. Fortunately the lovely attendants were so accommodating that they tried their best finding us first available seats amidst the super busy venue. Took 15 minutes-ish wait under unfriendly sunny LA, but we ended up at perfect seats. The venue's design and vibe were such entertainment, blending a mixture of greenery touch with gorgeous pastel colors. We started with their Crab Arancini, which I earlier thought bit expensive for the portion, till the generous crab filling got revealed. Not overly greasy and so flavorful especially served with the luscious sauce, it came as great opening to our brunch. Their 'Hash Brown Your Way', featuring hash brown patties with poached eggs and our choice of extra protein for which we opted for smoked salmon. The dish was kinda bringing together different elements of breakfast favorites as it was also complemented by smashed avo and refreshing salad. The beet hummus sauce made Mood's version being peculiar and stood out. Although overall it's more like rosti than common hash brown for me, I love it! Another egg-based menu we went for was their Shakshuka, which surprisingly turned to be the highlight of the table. We all loved how the tomatoes weren't overpowering the overall dish and the garlic touch in the sauce made it so delicate. Yolks were flawlessly runny and the dish was just simply amazing to enjoy with the sourdough slices on the side. I was proven wrong being skeptical about Mood in the beginning, thinking that most people were just curious about the place being new and cutesy, as the dishes turned out beyond expectations! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this brunch spot! It has a cute aesthetic with covered outdoor seating. The menu has a variety of unique options. I ordered the steak and eggs, and it was pretty good. It came with potatoes and greens on the side, as well as some sort of sauce that added some flavor. The steak was nicely seasoned and cooked how I'd requested. It was a good well-rounded meal. We visited Mood as a family and had such a lovely experience! My daughter absolutely loved her kids' waffles, especially being able to mix and create her own sauces, which made it so much fun for her. We were blown away by the Truffle Tortufo and Truffle Oatmeal - both dishes were so unique and full of flavor. The decor and ambiance are stunning, the service was top-notch, and we really appreciated the beautiful terrace seating. They've incorporated some of their own flavors and culture into the restaurant's dishes. The shop is a two-story design with excellent natural light; the sunlight streaming in creates a lovely LA vibe Avo Toast offers a choice of hummus, avocado puree, or cream cheese base. Overall, the ambiance is great. While the dessert was a minor disappointment, I found the other dishes quite okay. Wow--what an incredible experience! This place is exceptionally welcoming and perfect for a big birthday brunch. The food was outstanding--the best French toast I've ever had in my life. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and absolutely perfect. As a Ukrainian, I'm so proud to know that this beautiful spot is owned by Ukrainian people! The atmosphere is stunning -- modern, stylish, and inviting. They offer upscale breakfast options that are both clean and delicious. I highly recommend trying Syrniki with mango sauce -- absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every single bite.
