Just finished eating here with a few girlfriends. Food was decent, service okay...water wasn't refilled and we weren't really checked on until I asked for the check. There are only two restrooms which are in an awkward location near the kitchen area door so when you wait, you constantly have to move around or else you will get hit by the people/staff going in and out. The part that made this place somewhere I will not go back to is they charge 3% surcharge to use credit cards. Hardly anyone uses cash and everyone uses a card nowadays :) The girl working said this was a California law. I have been eating out in California for the last 30 years, and have eaten in West Hollywood just the past two weeks, none of the places do that. But the credit card charge was not the only charge...There was another mysterious 3% surcharge on my bill which I noticed after my credit card was charged. I saw the receipt after we left and called them after leaving, they were adamant that there was only one 3% charge when I indeed had two. After speaking to 3 different people, they finally reviewed the bill and said I was right, it was "accidentally" charged. I was told I would receive a refund (we will see if that happens). Towards the end of our meal we were ignored and not offered water nor our bill. When I asked for the check the girl just said the total and I tapped by card...which is my bad and I should have reviewed the bill but I eat out often and at nice restaurants, this experience was one of the very few where I've had these "hidden" charges. I don't mind paying for good food and service, I always tip 18-20% if not more when eating out but to add all the charges and then say there isn't a charge when I am looking at the receipt and have me explain this to 3 different people... read more

Mrs G and I stumbled across this little gem after I had visited nearby (walkable) Warby Parker for my eye exam and new glasses. Plenty of nearby parking. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and a friendly young lady suggested that we sit upstairs since it was pretty busy downstairs and on the spacious patio. There were many tempting choices. My friends and I stumbled on this place after a Pilates class. I believe there is street parking but we walked to it. It was pretty busy as expected. We were quoted 20 mins. I think they may have forgotten about us. We got seated about 30/35 mins later after asking the hostess. The servers seemed very busy but were nice. I ordered the steak and eggs to split with a friend. I ordered over easy eggs and the steak medium. My other friend ordered the avocado toast. She enjoyed her meal. Unfortunately, my steak came out well done and the eggs were over hard essentially. I was hungry so I ate the steak but asked for the eggs to be remade. They came out correctly the second time but without the seasoning was on the other eggs. The meal was 4/10 honestly. More plated for aesthetics and a picture than concerned with flavor. Made a reservation through OpenTable for Sunday brunch. Very nice looking bar, outdoor ambiance, cleanliness, and nice colors around the restaurant. The people next to us had steak and eggs that looked really good and well presented, so I had to order it. The steak was super tender, and seasoned well. The eggs with the steak and the omelette was very orange, which means high quality. Orange yolks are so much better! All the staff is very nice and attentive. They have a lady walking around with a camera asking if they want a photo for "free". She takes the picture for free, but if you want the physical photo, you have to pay. Fun spot along the walkable stretch of 3rd Street. We loved the patio atmosphere which totally takes advantage of our fantastic weather. It's a brunch and lunch vibe for sure. We were sat at a round table on the other side of a couple because they said all their other tables were reserved for lunch. They had heaters on but it was hard to feel the warmth and they also gave us a (refused)blanket once we asked which was nice! The drinks were cute and aesthetically pleasing but they didn't have much flavor sadly. One thing I would recommend is to let them know of you have an allergy (you won't be asked)! The servers give you a lot of privacy throughout the meal which I appreciate. For food, I highly recommend the Mezze Mood Set to share. It's a great way to try a lot of the dips and also the falafel. I was looking for a cute spot to get brunch with my mom around Beverly Hills and The Grove since we had some errands to run in the area. I am so happy I stumbled upon this spot! The area is huge and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Their patio is massive and is very open, green, and full of natural sunlight. Our waitress was so nice and attentive of us. She had great recommendations on what to order. We did not get any of their speciality coffee or matcha but all their drinks looked so good! For food we ordered: - Tartufo scramble sandwhich: my mom ordered this and loved it! This dish comes with a delicious slice of perfectly buttered and toasted sourdough, with a base of truffle, cream cheese, scrambled eggs, topped with abundant mushrooms and sea salt. It's absolutely so decadent and beautiful. The portion was a lot larger than we expected which was very pleasantly surprising. Very satisfying bite. - Humshuka: I'm a big fan of hummus and shakshuka so this was the obvious choice for me. The hummus was creamy, and perfectly balanced the shakshuka which was richly spiced with harissa and tomatoes-- giving it the perfect warm and comforting feel. I liked how they made it with soft boiled eggs instead of the fried eggs. This came with a ton of cilantro on top which tasted very fresh and added a nice herbal touch. The dish came with another slice of their perfectly toasted sourdough. I also added some grilled chicken for extra protein which was so tender and not too overly seasoned which was perfect because it didn't overpower the spices from the shakshuka. Loved this dish! Felt lighter than other hummus shakshuka dishes I've had but still satisfying. - Syrniki with mango custard: we had a long debate of whether to get the traditional syrniki or the mango custard ones. We opted for the latter which was very good! This came with 3 syrniki which all had a generous size. They were a bit crumbly but very moist and fluffy. These felt only very lightly sweetened and had a lot of protein from the cottage cheese which I appreciated since I was full for a long time. The mango custard was sweeter than the syrniki and gave them a nice tropical touch. This was a lot more runny than I expected but it served as a nice sauce! They were very generous with the amount of fresh berries and crushed nuts! I definitely want to try the regular ones next time. Overall, I absolutely loved this place! The portions were generous, the presentation was excellent, the ambiance is super cute and LA, and the service was really warm and welcoming. Special shoutout to Sofia for being so nice to us and explaining things on the menu. Came here with a friend for brunch, and overall I thought the experience was pretty mid. We ordered the French toast, hash browns, crepes with ricotta, and a couple of drinks (the butterfly lemonade and matcha). The crepes were good, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. They were easily the highlight of the meal, and I have no complaints there. One thing that stood out was the seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty aside from two other couples. Despite there being plenty of open tables, we were seated right next to them. It felt a little awkward, and the couple beside us seemed somewhat uncomfortable with how close everyone was seated when there was so much available space. Service was decent, friendly enough, but nothing particularly noteworthy. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. Given the prices and the amount of hype surrounding this place, I was expecting a lot more. However, I mentioned at the beginning of the evening that it was my friend's birthday. At the end of dinner, they asked to see her ID to verify her birthday.
