    Morning Wagyu Beefsteak
    Nina N.

The wagyu wasn't bad, but it wasn't super flavorful either. The bread was toasted perfectly though. I was a big fan of the hummus--that's worth trying if you visit. The dragon berry mint matcha was not good. Dragonfruit already has a pretty subtle flavor, but the matcha itself tasted poor quality and super watered down. Honestly really disappointing, especially since the drink was $10! Service was good, our waiter was super attentive and friendly!

My friends & I came here for brunch & made a reservation. It was a really hot day, & were sat outside. They do have shades, but it was still pretty hot, so I'd recommend sitting indoors during the summer. The restaurant is cute & has some really nice outdoor scenery that's perfect for pictures. The food came out on time, & the portions were good. I had the steak & eggs...the eggs were good, but the steak was overcooked. We also shared the mini pancakes, which were cute but pretty plain & needed the toppings for extra flavor. The bread was also very hard & didn't taste very fresh. The staff was attentive & friendly. Overall, I'd say this is more of a cute, aesthetic brunch spot. It is definitely on the pricier side for the taste, but the scenery $ atmosphere are worth checking out. I also noticed the cocktails looked really good, so I'd love to try one next time!

Nice cafe nestled in Fairfax. Healthy breakfast and Lunch options. Greek style salad was tasty and super colorful with lots of veggies. You can add a protein - but avoid the fried chicken. mostly batter - not much meat. Great for vegan and healthy bkfst and lunch options.

Had a lovely weekend brunch date here! The dining area is modern and refreshingly green. Almost feels like a different world from the surrounding area, in a good way! Our service was prompt and friendly. Both our drinks were very good; I had the red velvet, which offers a fresh raspberry flavor and goes down as easily as fruit juice! They even include a prosecco shot on the side. Drink it on its own or mix it in for a nice sparkling touch :) My steak and eggs were also well-prepared and hit the spot. Will definitely swing by again if I'm looking for brunch in the area!

Love the atmosphere here and it's always packed! The food is a hit or miss though. I would recommend getting a couple plates and sharing all of them. Mango dragonade- it was yummy!! Mango, dragonfruit and a splash of orange juice Orange juice - freshly squeezed, classic Baba ganoush- it was sooooo good: kind of on the sweeter side. Wish they gave more bread with this though. Syrini with mango custard- I was trying to decide between this or the crepes with ricotta and passion fruit custard. It was really good for the first couple bites and I got tired of it and wanted to eat something else. Def better to share this. Tuna salad sandwich - so good! It wasn't too cold and I say that because typically I don't like salad sandwiches because they're cold. My friends really enjoyed the Humshaka here so I'll try that next time.

Wagyu burger was delicious! Good portion, not too overwhelming and absolutely loved the fries! Was surprised they included gloves to eat the burger but appreciated it in the end especially at how saucy it was haha

The babaganoush was good, I really liked the bread it came with. I just wish it wasn't so sweet. The overnight oats look really cool and special but taste so incredibly mid that it's shocking. Nothing we ate that day was special or good enough to keep us coming back and wanting more. This was a one and done type of place. It's not at all worth the hype.

My friend recommended we check it out as it was on our way to The Grove. The aesthetics were cool. After a 30min wait the staff was able to get us in with no reservation. We didn't expect this as there was a line going out the door and it was a hour and a half before closing time. Hats off to the staff as they were clearly juggling a lot yet remained friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. Dishes were decently priced but taste wise they didn't really stand out. Cappuccino on the other hand was great.

I came across Mood on Third after seeing a ton of great reviews, and I totally get why people talk about it. The vibe is real. It feels lively, multicultural, and honestly kind of fun just sitting there and hearing different languages all around you. It makes the whole experience feel a little more elevated and interesting, like you're part of something happening. We didn't have reservations and still got seated right away, which was a huge plus, but MAKE RESERVATIONS because that's literally the first thing they ask and it just makes everything smoother. Service is where this place really shines. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like there were multiple people taking care of our table at all times. The staff is incredibly attentive, constantly checking in, asking what you need next, making sure everything is moving. The food came out fast too, which I appreciated. You can tell they're really on top of their operation, and the energy from the team is genuinely warm and welcoming. Now, the reason I can't give it a full five stars is the seating situation. It's tight. Like, really tight. You are basically side by side with strangers, close enough to hear their entire conversation while they hear yours. You can actually feel how slightly uncomfortable people are when they first sit down, including us. I get that they're trying to maximize space, but it definitely takes away from the overall comfort. As for the food, it was good, just not something I'd personally come back for. It didn't wow me flavor-wise, even though everything looked great and came out quickly. Also, I always find it a little funny when they immediately ask "sparkling or tap," because you already know they're trying to nudge that bill up. Not a dealbreaker, just something I notice every time. Overall, I'd give it about a 4.5. It's absolutely worth coming at least once for the vibe and the service alone, but I do think the food could use a little more flavor to match everything else they're doing right.

Crepes with ricotta cheese and passion fruit curd

The place was great. It looks modern and fresh, I really like the stylish design. We came around 11 am on Sunday and it was pretty busy, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. We didn't wait long though, just like 5 minutes. Service was quick, everyone was super nice, and everything looked clean. Food was really good. I got the ricotta crepes with passion fruit curd. It was a perfect mix of sweetness. Crepes were fresh and my cappuccino was also really good. We tried baba ganoush too, it was interesting and nice to try. My boyfriend got the hash brown plate and added 2 eggs and bacon. He really liked everything. We would definitely come back again, just next time with a reservation.

My friend and I went for brunch on Monday morning. There was plenty of street parking (pay by text) on 3rd street. It was a great space, open, cute/trendy, and plenty of seats. The host asked if we had a reservation but luckily it wasn't super busy and they were able to seat us. Server was nice and friendly. We wanted to share the pancakes or waffles but the server recommended the passionfruit crepes, which were delicious. The ricotta was very light and sweet and the heavy passionfruit sauce complemented it perfectly. We ordered the following: - Mooood latte- there was a dragon berry cold foam on this iced latte. It was very good. - Mimosas - Eggs Benedict- the eggs on this benedict was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this dish and it was also a very big portion. They gave me the option of putting a protein on it but I just had it as it was. - Tartufo Scramble Sandwich- open sandwich with mushrooms and eggs with a perfect balance of truffle. I enjoyed this dish too. With 2 mimosas, crepes and everything above, came out to about $100. I would definitely return as I would like to try the other items. Both my friend and I enjoyed our brunch at mood.

Everything tasted fresh and balanced, and the truffled cream and pistachios added just enough richness without overpowering the prosciutto and burrata. We decided to try Lorenzo since we'd heard so much about their sandwiches too, but it just didn't hit the spot for us the way Mamie did. The fillings were fine. I felt the tuna sandwich was carelessly made and the ingredients were just slapped on instead of being evenly spread so you get a little bit of everything with each bite. Some bites were all Calabrian chile and no tuna and some bites were all tuna and no chile. My companion loved the Rimini more. This might be a one and done for me. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good.
