Pretty average food. I ordered to-go because they were having a bogo deal. Can't really complain, the cost matched the quality

    Burnt food

Burnt cauliflower. Yuck. I ordered through door dash and it's quite disgusting how they served fully burnt food. I paid extra for this. What a waste of $26!

I tried Moonbowls for the first time through delivery. The food was amazing! Presentation was perfect, even their color scheme is so pretty. Delivery was fast & their customer service was on point. Very attentive & communicative from the beginning. Here is a picture of the Chili crunch cucumbers & Avocado Bulgogi

i'm a little picky when it comes to the korean rice bowl joints that are out there cuz i'm big on textures in addition to being somewhat of a kimchi snob (i'm korean, i can't help it). i really like moonbowls because the kimchi's got the right amount of tang that you achieve by letting it age a bit longer than most folks are used to i got the impossible beef salad with a side of glass noodles (she's tending to her health, okay?) with roasted sweet potatoes, corn salad and kimchi with the gochujang sauce and it was so good! was a great late-night-at-the-office dinner :) it was also cute that the bag matched my desk accessories lol

I love coming here, as the food is consistently great. The brisket is really tasty and they give you a good portion of it. Soup is always hot, not lukewarm which I appreciate. I genuinely think their sullungtang is the best I've had! I was really happy that this time, they had purple rice. The past few times, they only had white rice, so this was such a great change! Not sure why they were out of the purple rice for so long, but glad that it's back! Banchans are great with unlimited refills! Service: the couple that runs this restaurant are welcoming with good customer service. Parking: This place is located in a plaza, so there are a lot of parking spots available right out front which makes it convenient. Overall, if you like Korean food and sullungtang, I would definitely recommend you come here!

We always get the Galbitang and it always hits the spot!! Their banchan compliments really nicely and they also provide complimentary barley tea with your meal. I don't need to add any salt or pepper to the Galbitang since it's already so flavorful and naturally sweet. Comes with the choice of purple or white rice. Have yet to try oth or dishes!

TL;DR - the mixed haejangguk and sullungtang are solid choices. The mixed haejangguk has tripe and…read moreintestines in it which was surprisingly delicious! I really like coming here. It's very spacious, lots of seating, the service is quick and polite. It's a good spot for hanging out with friends. Their sullungtang is a solid code if you like a creamy bone broth. They give you your own salt, pepper, etc to flavor to your hearts content. I tried the mixed haejangguk for the first time and loved it. I took a gamble because it is ox blood, tripe, brisket, and INTESTINES. there's other stuff in there but that was the highlight. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. Ill definitely be ordering this again! Its got a small level of spice so it is perfect for a cold day. Definitely coming back!

Since the place is named for Haejangguk dish, we ordered Haejangguk and sundae soup…read more First, their kimchi, radish kimchi seemed to be mixed with old one and new batch, not sure why they did this. maybe trying to speed up the fermentation process? Second, Haejangguk was quite blend yet reeking meat smell (not sure how else to describe this, wondering if the meat was getting old). Blood was not fresh either imo. Third sundae soup, kinda disappointing seeing only glass noodle filled sundae. If they used real sundae as well, the soup wouldn't have been so blend. Servers were kind and service was fast thus 2 stars.
