I Love supporting "mom and pop" shops. I've had ox tail soup from LA (H..) and places in the Southbay (W..) This place is true to the traditional way of Korean ox tail soup. Please come support

We ate here on a Saturday morning. There was only one waitress. She was very quick and our food came out just as quick. We got the kimchi jjage and it was spicy and flavorful! We probably shouldn't have ordered the pot since it was just my fiancé and I but we enjoyed it and the left overs! Sides were great I enjoyed the cabbage omelette one.

I usually do dine in but since my little one is sick and we had to order take out. They charged 3 dollars for take out boxes. The normal price for seafood pancake I believe it's around 25? Which it was also stated on the menu but when it is for take out it's $27!... or $29! I guess u won't be goin back anytime soon since there are a ot of choices for sulungtong in the southbay area.

Great little hole in the wall with delicious food! I was trying to beat this heatwave, so I ordered the cold buckwheat noodles. It came with an extra bowl of icy cold broth and vinegar and mustard to adjust to your liking. It was delicious and refreshing. My husband ordered the tofu, pork belly, and kim chi dish. It's one of my favorite Korean dishes and it was even better the next day! But don't leftovers hit differently? Their ban chans were also very good! Ive never gotten boiled eggs with whole garlic or eggplant as a side before. I can't wait to return!

A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn't have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.

I was looking for a place to have Korean soup and bossam. There were many places to choose from, however, based on the menu and reviews, I selected this place. It truly is a hole in the wall, nothing fancy, seems like family operates. Most things on walls are handwritten instead of printed. We ordered Yukgeajang (spicy beef soup) and Dwaegi Bossam (Sliced Pork Belly with vegetables to wrap them with). Food was really tasty. The ban chan (side dishes) were simple and fresh. Service was good. They sent us a complimentary appetizer. We couldn't finish the food ... there is a charge for to go containers. I enjoyed our meal and was glad that I picked this simple restaurant.

A bit disappointed since this place had great reviews. There was almost no one on a Friday night, which surprised me given its reviews. It's nestled in a plaza that was packed full of cars, but for the other places I guess. I ordered the seollongtang, which was not bad but also not good. Especially given that it's in the name. It was a thin broth that didn't have much flavor even when salt was added. The banchan was good and it's always nice when they bring you a giant pot of freshly cut green onion to add into the soup. If you want to take your leftovers to go, you have to pay $.50 for a small container and $1 for a large container.

What a gem I found in the city of Gardena. Mom and pop shop that serves the best Korean soups. They simmer their broth for hours and hours and you can definitely taste the deliciousness. Their meat dishes are also very good, the la galbi was so flavorful and I enjoyed making wraps with the pork! Service is A1 and there a lot with plenty of parking. Will definitely be returning.

Banchan. My favorite is the bottom right.

This resto is in a busy strip mall competing for limited parking slots with a KBBQ place, a sushi place, a boba place plus other establishments. We last visited this place years ago and was underwhelmed. Mind you, we can't remember if it's the same place or not. The second visit proved to be favorable. We ordered: Galbitang Sullungtang Mung bean pancake We definitely order all three again! We ate here on a Wednesday after work. They may have just cleaned as the scent of antiseptic wafted through the air. There were only a few other patrons that night. Service was quick and efficient. This is an option if the line at the other places are too long! Enjoy!

Omg! Authentic sul lung tang (traditional korean bone broth soup) is deliciously amazing at Jun Ju. Soup is served pipping hot, broth is rich flavored & served with salt, green onions & black pepper on the side. Speaking of side, their side dishes are exquisite & authentic. You'll enjoy the unlimited fresh ban-chan (side dishes). We also ordered korean seafood pancake- served crunchy with loaded seafood. Absolutely heavenly. Service staffs are friendly & well attentive. Place is clean & seating is limited. You'll see tons of elderly Koreans as delightful customers who are enjoying their meal. Parking is plenty in the front lot. Hope you get to dine at Jun Ju and experience authentic korean cuisine. Bon appetite!

Wooga Sullungtang is officially one of my top places to grab some ox bone soup without having to deal with a longer, traffic-ridden drive to K-Town. The broth is silky smooth, rich, soothing, and honestly tastes wonderful on its own. But of course the salt, pepper, and plate of chopped green onions really amplify and improve the overall dish. Purple rice and banchan were delicious as well. I love how thick and crunchy their radish is and I loved pouring some of those juices into my broth about halfway through finishing. Kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and fish cake were so so addicting. Service was impressively quick. I came in while the Mexico vs. South Korea World Cup was broadcasted so the energy in the restaurant and servers was ELECTRIC. I loved how the vibe of this place oozed with support and a sense of community.

We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look.
