Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, etc. Parts for repair were on warranty hence free; labor charge for service call seemed reasonable. I had been a long-time customer of Moore - but no longer. They did not detect a failing A/C unit in my building at their routine maintenance checks, then charged me for coming out for an additional inspection, then actually refused to fix what was wrong, and then gave me a huge quote on a replacement unit. When I found another company that was able to replace the unit for over $2000 less, now they are literally telling me they don't want to have me as a customer anymore for the maintenance contract saying they can't maintain someone else's equipment - which is BS since the original equipment that was there wasn't installed by them either - they are just mad I didn't go with their high quote. This is terrible customer service and I will obviously be going elsewhere. read more

I highly recommend Moore Mechanical for any HVAC needs you may have. They are professional and really know what they are doing. Kevin Bradley came out to look at our system and then made several recommendations after explaining some different options. The technicians were incredible, as was Jose from AJ Heating and Cooling who replaced our original duct work. The new "system" is quiet, efficient, and was long overdue. If you need an entirely new system or if your old system was perfect last week but now needs repair then this company does that kind of work. But if there is a deficiency such as a duct that is too small they won't even come look at it. I was very surprised to hear it but that is what they told me. Not quite a full service company I guess. They have separate groups for new installations and service and fixing problems that are original system flaws falls into a category they don't service. read more

I am very pleased with Moore Mechanical's work, including the detailed quotes Vince did and the on-site job Francisco and their team did. We had a fairly complicated heating and AC replacement and reconfiguration. It required electrical, plumbing, new equipment, tight space access, carpentry, etc. Every time I wasn't sure if it was possible to do a part of it without exposed work or tearing open walls/ceilings, they did it with a good attitude. I am very impressed with their people and procedures. They have a few items I'm confident they'll be back to finish soon, but they completed the vast majority of the job quickly. read more

I rarely write reviews but this company is fantastic. We have (after always getting three quotes) had them install three different AC/Furnace combos at two houses. Their prices have always been competitive. After each installation, different city inspectors have commented on the 'very well done and tidy work.' They were all impressed. Isn't that what you always want to hear from a disinterested third party? Our recent units were just installed by Anthony and his team and it was obvious they took pride in their work. Titus, their salesman, was open, honest and completely willing to address any questions and concerns. He went above and beyond my expectations. When there have been small problems, Moore took care of them immediately. In fact, they have always gone the extra mile. Their staff are all professional, friendly and completely trustworthy. My favorite customer service story is their long-term efforts to keep one of my units (installed in 1994) going....until 2021! In 2009 I was told by another company that it would have to be replaced. Moore just switched out a part and twelve years later when parts for it were no longer manufactured I chose Moore again for a new system. You can trust them--they have your best interests at heart. You probably want to hear what I don't like. Well, I do think their yearly maintenance plan is a bit pricey but I do think that over the years I have gotten more than I paid for. Choose Moore. This company claims to be 5 star rated, it is not. They installed a Carrier in 2014, the A/C's compressor has failed. Nonetheless, this company wants to charge me $3,300 to repair, but recommends me to buy a new 3 ton air conditioner. I would use caution with dealing with these people. They install bad A/C's & offer no discounts for repairs. An air conditioner should last 15-20 years. My failed after 4 years. They are a company that does not stand by their products & do not care what it costs for the customer to repair. Good luck if you have had work done by them. read more

Trust? Not honoring a $25 dollar off Service Coupon. I had my Carrier HVAC system installed by Moore Mechanical. I recently had my HVAC system serviced for $179 dollars as part of their maintenance service agreement. I brought forward this coupon I found in a magazine that talks about $25 dollars off on your next service. Both the Service Technician and Office coordinator stated that this coupon is only good for repair. I asked them to show me where it says that on the coupon and they are silent. I hope this does not represent the character of this company when comes down to $25 dollars. Additionally, they quoted me $200 dollar installation for a 5-2-1 compression saver kit. The part only costs $40 dollars on Amazon. It's hard to trust what they say when they offer $200 installation for the $40 dollar part and not honoring a coupon... read more

Way overpriced. Tried charging me $700 + $200 installation for a part that should cost $100 (Honeywell WV8860B1317 Control Valve). Quoted $2400 for a new water heater. Happily, I found another company to install a water heater for $1200. Unfortunately, I'm out the $90 diagnostic fee, but I learned my lesson and won't be back to Moore again in the future. read more

In 2018, our A/C was not circulating enough cool air for our comfort. We contacted Moore Mechanical, and they discovered that our system was low on refrigerant. They concluded that there might be a leak in the system somewhere, after doing a search with dye. The tech said there is a leak in the evaporator coil, and that we should replace it, at a cost of more that $4000,00. Within a year, we were completely OUT OF refrigerant. ( Note: we were never told that there is a one year LABOR warranty) A technician from Moore Mechanical came out and suggested to do another search, or perhaps use a sealant. He also mentioned that the leak could be inside the wall that stands parallel to the outdoor compressor. On that visit we were charged for : the sealant, and more refrigerant. In April of 2020, A/C is, once again, very weak. A technician came and charged us $502.00 for approximately two pounds of refrigerant. We we're very frustrated. Nicky said when the tech comes again for our routine maintenance, in 2021, the technician could do another search to try and find the leak at no cost to us. We received an email in April 2021 to schedule the appointment- our membership cost also went up to $365.00. April 30, technician Adam came, he put the dye in, then he came back the following Wednesday and he said he thinks the leak is in the coil. THE COIL THEY INSTALLED. He also added two more pounds of refrigerant at $540.00 which is necessary to conduct a dye procedure. We received an estimate that is quite frankly an insult. $3100 for the following: -$1452.00 labor -$1160.00 for " additional tech on job site" QUANTITY-4 Is this open heart surgery ? Why 4 technicians?? PLUS more refrigerant for approximately $500.00 WE DON'T SEE ANY " Membership Discount " on the estimate. We sent an email to Renee to cancel our membership, and we received 1/2 credit back. $167.00 refund. She wrote that she would inform the management team about our dissatisfaction with their business. We have not heard from management or the owners so we assume they don't care. Do not use this company. read more
