Mor Air did an outstanding job for me in getting my relatively new AC unit running again. After a power outage in my area, my 3-month old AC condenser stopped working. Manufacturer technical support solutions also did not work. More Air was able to diagnose the issue find a subtle but critical setting that disabled communications between the Condenser and the furnace and reset it properly. Nothing but great things to say about Mario and his team! From their responsiveness to the quality of service, everything was 5 stars. We hired them for HVAC maintenance as we were having some issues with our furnace not starting. Mario was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and fix it, as well as other issues with the way our system was set up (detector in the wrong place and furnace box not properly sealed as well as insufficient air flow), all of it for a very competitive price (their maintenance plans are particularly interesting and flexible). Brief anecdote to show the care and professionalism of this team: we needed an additional air vent installed as part of the repairs. A few days after the work was done, we noticed chipped/damaged areas of the ceiling where the new vent had to be inserted and which hadn't been properly patched up. Mario and his team took us through the process of installing a dual-zone heat pump from start to finish, and we are so glad they did. First, I called around to A LOT of places and took advantage of free in-home personalized estimates - Mor Air stood out right from the start. Mario was the only one to take detailed measurements and make sure that every estimate both met my specifications and would actually fit in my space. Others were not nearly as meticulous and I really appreciated that my estimate was true. Second, whenever we got bogged down in the research to figure out exactly what we wanted, Mario answered our technical questions clearly and competently, and always took the time to make sure we felt good about our decisions. It was a big purchase and Mario made sure we understood how to "read the numbers" to get what we wanted. Gabriel showed up on time, and was able to run full diagnostics and come up with a permanent and satisfactory solution which two previous companies were unable or unwilling to do. Installation of a rigid return air duct to replace the was scheduled and completed three days later, and the work performed was top notch. The previous company which had replaced our duct system refused to consider the installation of a rigid duct, even after the flex duct which they had installed collapsed a total of THREE times, with two replacements installed. Had an old ac unit that was too large for the house and kept dying. Mario and the mor air team replaced my old unit with a split system. The split system works really well. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Also I was able to get great recommendations for other contractors through Mario like an amazing plumber and roofer. Funny our electrician also was friends with him; small world. Great company they do great work. Easy to get along with and reasonable. Also very reliable; they always show up on time and if you have an emergency like i had some emergencies before replacing the old unit they come out right away. Like last summer on a 90 degree day the ac stopped working and they came out asap to fix it--they helped patch the old unit but the unit had never been cleaned and was over 15 years old and everything in it was dying and it damaged some like beams in the attic because it was just the wrong size for the house. Anyway the plan was to wait to do the roof so they helped patch until we could do the roof and then at the same time we installed the split system. Because he has worked with the roofer a lot it was very easy they all coordinated with eachother; very easy. This roof was 80 years old original to the house the hvac was 15years old. My A/C decided to go out on me after only 2 years since its last service (I guess getting it checked annually is a thing after all). The weather was heating up and I didn't want to be stuck without A/C. The kicker is, we're in the middle of a pandemic and my boyfriend and I are in the higher risk category for the virus. On top of that, my mother is living with me during the stay-at-home period. Needless to say, I didn't want any stranger entering my home. The company offered by my home warranty couldn't guarantee their technician could properly assess and fix my issue without entering my home, even though my A/C unit is in my backyard and previous techs didn't need to enter the home at all. I contacted Mor Air and let them know of my situation, and Mario was VERY accommodating. He came by, went straight to my backyard, and through a closed window, we communicated and diagnosed the problem, a bad capacitor. He replaced it, and even hosed down my A/C condenser before he left. He had all his PPE equipment on and was very courteous and understanding of my concerns. I paid him via CC through an invoice he texted to me and we were done! I highly recommend Mor Air if you need to service your A/C, but have any concerns during this uncertain time of quarantine. read more

Called this afternoon about an issue with my furnace - everything would turn on but no heat would come out. Mario told me over the phone that there was an inspection fee, but that it would be applied to the repair cost and he could come by 2:00pm (he showed up right on time). Mario diagnosed the issue in about 20 mins and found the part nearby. After getting the part, he finished the repair and tested the system - it was all working back to normal! He packed everything and was very clean. (It was as if he was never there). His price was very reasonable especially for such efficient and responsive service. Excellent service! Worked with Mario at Mor Air to fix my central heating that had died. Another company told me that I would need to replace 2 separate parts, at a cost of almost $2k. Got a recommendation for Mor Air from a friend. Mario responded to me almost immediately. He was honest and told me that, yes, sometimes those 2 parts do need to be replaced together, but he would be willing to replace one part, and then test the system to see if the problem would be fixed before replacing the 2nd part. He also quoted a lower price, so I would save money regardless. Well, lo and behold, replacing the 1st part DID fix the problem. If it had not, he would have gone back to the parts supplier the same day to buy the 2nd part for me. But there was no need. So his efforts saved me something like 65% over the initial quote. I will definitely be calling Mario at Mor Air for any HVAC needs in the future. read more
