Contacted More for a job. They set up an appointment to measure and didn't show up. Reached out to schedule again and they showed up. Called 3 times over the next week before I finally recieved an estimate. I was given an install date. They didn't show up on that install date. Took a week to reach the sales guy. He started screaming at me that I didn't give him a deposit. I informed he he never asked for one. He told me he would install the following Thursday- no show Then he told me he would be there Friday no show again. I text him that I was canceling and using someone else. From there he began threatening me. Telling me he wanted to meet up with me. That I'm illegal and he would call immigration on me. That he was gonna file a lien on my customers house for a job he never installed or delivered materials to. He proceeded to text me trying to threaten me for over an hour. When I blocked him he started texting me from other numbers continuing to threaten me and my customer. Pretty sure the guys on drugs. STAY AWAY. I'm reporting him to More Corporate office, the CSLB and the police. Update: after blocking 2 numbers they began texting me from a 3rd number. read more

When the glass was installed they said they were almost done and "We didn't make a mess." I pointed out there was some glass on the patio and he picked up a piece. I thought he was going to get the rest of it and I was wrong. I went out to the street where they had parked and there was a large amount of glass on the payment. It is an area about 1.5x2 feet. I called the office and they are sending them back to clean up. That was 10 minutes ago and they have not returned yet. I will update, if and when they show. So for now they earned one star. They just returned and picked up all the glass out back and took the cardboard out to the trash for me too. The street is much better I saw maybe a dozen smaller pieces (big enough to pickup). I will use some gaffers tape to get them myself. This should have been done the first time they were here. I will upgrade them to two stars. read more

Excellent communication on the part of the staff. Works was done promptly and professionally. Arrival was within 10 mins of the projected time. They replaced a piece of old clear Flemish glass in my bathroom window I broke. The match was near identical. They told me ahead of time what to expect as far as appearance, but The finished work far surpassed my Expectations. Well worth the cost for the replacement. Looks like nothing happened. read more

I hired more glass to install a frameless shower door in my bathroom. The door was rubbing and they came out and fixed it. Then I started rubbing again then they wouldn't honor the warranty they told me about lifetime on labor. They told me it was my fault for improperly using the shower door. That is impossible there's only one way to use the shower door LOL. But I followed up with them several times over the last two years and they won't fix the problem. I want to start with a huge Thank you to More Glass. They came to our home at a moments notice and replaced a window that other companies were quoting me several times what they were going to charge and it was estimated to take at least 3-4 weeks for the glass to come in AFTER I gave the go ahead on their quote. So not only did they charge me 1/3 what the others wanted, but they came, measured, cut and installed all within a couple of hours of me contacting them. I have used them once before and both times customer service was spot on, and their work is as good or better than the leading competitors. Was told to wait for an available repair person to call for same day repair. That call never happened. I called by late friday afternoon to see what was up. Not only did I have many issues upon installation but now I learned the window is defective and I am told to pound sand essentially because it has been longer than a year. I don't live in my condo so had no idea the window was defective. $2,000 for a window and they don't stand by their product. I am taking legal action against the company! read more

Let me break this down into steps. 1. Out of the blue I get a call from More Glass asking if we need any glass services. I'm always looking for good people to do business with so I said yes. Come out and give me a price on a shower door. 2. I gave Mat the specifications and he calls me back with a price. GREAT FAST START. 3. Paco turns up to measure and I go through the details and what I want. 4. I followed up with Mat asking for a pre-approval contract so I can sign off on the agreement. No Contract came through and this is my fault for not following up. I stressed several times that I wanted the factory Installed glass coating that comes with a 10 yr warranty. 5. Paco turns up to Install the Glass and me being in a position of ordering several 100 glass enclosures over the last year noticed no glass sealer warranty sticker on the glass. This sticker carry's the ID that you use to register with the sealer manufacturer to get your 10 yr warranty. 6. Paco informs me that they have sent him with the spray on type that has NO warranty. NOT WHAT I ORDERED FROM THE BEGINNING. 7. I'm a nice guy so i email Mat telling him that i do not see the warranty sticker. He calls and reassures me that the glass already has the sealer on it and he will get me the warranty paperwork. NOT TRUE. 8. Paco Installs the 1/2" thick frame-less glass and what a great Install he did minus any protection put on the floors from the front door to the work area. 9. So my conclusion at this point is I have 3 heavy pieces of glass Installed with no protection and a complete run around by one of MORE Glasses employees that needs to be trained better. 10. The last call I received was from Mat telling me that they had bent over backwards to make me happy. Bent over backwards means we made a mistake and we will be supplying you with a new Enclosure at no additional cost or refunding me the cost of the glass. BUT NO instead I received a $100 discount. It will in turn cost me time to put this right. 11. Invoice sent through to pay the final balance had MORE Glass Blanked out and Super Glass Instead (SUSPICIOUS) plus the first payment I made had the wrong amount on the Invoice and the Total Balance was wrong. I had a 9am appointment here at More Glass in National City, and got here plenty early to make sure they had what they needed from me. The front desk woman was rude, short, and told me a few unprofessional anecdotes. One being that the employee who was supposed to be here to fix my windshield at 9am won't make it because he called in 'sick', when she actually saw on his Facebook page that he had been out drinking the night before. WHAT?! (That should have been my cue to get out of there, but I didn't listen to my instincts...) She then proceeded to tell me it'll only take 20 minutes for the next employee to arrive here from La Jolla. It took an hour. The front desk woman assured me that it wouldn't take two hours for this employee to complete (unlike the last one), because he works fast. She then asked for my keys, and when I handed them to her and was in the middle of giving instructions for my car, she just walked away to give the employee my keys. How very polite. She came back and grabbed her own purse, coffee, keys, papers, etc. and walked out back (to where my car is finally now being serviced), just to talk to the other employees - and then left without saying where she was going or when she'd return. She never returned, and I had the employee that drove from La Jolla ring me up. I politely asked for a refund since I wanted an hour to be serviced. He argued with me a little, but in the end only gave me $10 off. Don't waste the hassle of coming here. Negative 5 stars. I placed my order on 12 Nov 2018. It states on the invoice that my order would be ready in 5-7 days. I called and spoke with Francisco on 16 Nov to inquire of the status of my order. He said he would call to check and would return my call. It never happened. Sad! On 20 Nov I called again and spoke with Tony who said Francisco was at lunch and he would leave a message for Francisco. No return call. I called at 2:10pm, Tony transferred me to Francisco, I was on hold for 5 minutes when someone disconnected us. I immediately called again and this time reached an answering message. A word of caution, please do your homework if you indeed to do business with a 2.5 rating company. We hired them to replace a sliding door window and they came and measured, we signed for the order. When they came to install, only 1 person showed up(late), he said his partner called in sick but he could still do it. It took many hours and when he was done I said the caulking was a little messy. He said you could trim it up after it dried the next day. I felt sorry for the guy alone so I agreed to do it. I didn't check the glass carefully at the time. Big mistake! When I washed the window 12 days later I noticed a cut in the glass in a straight line like with a glass cutter. When I called, they said it was too late and I had signed for the install(I didn't ). They were not friendly in the least and tried to blame it on me after many attempts to get them to return. When I cancelled my credit card payment, they just threatened to put a lien on my property. I emailed them the same day that my girlfriends car was broken into at the spring valley swap meet and within the hour I had a quote to replace her front window $120 installed for parts and labor we went the next day (Monday) and it took them 45 minutes to install and our problem is solved. Engaged with the store manager of more glass to install 10 new windows on our Motorhome. Payed a 50% down payment and was told that they would start early on the day of installation so I would not need to leave the motorhome in their unsecured lot overnight . I arrived at 9:00 am and was told the manager was not available and no one in the shop had any knowledge of our job or would take responsibility for our motorhome.. I waited 2 1/2 hours and made several calls to the manager with no answer. Finally received a text to say the workers were not comfortable working on our motorhome while I was present, and that they would cancel the job and refund our deposit. We told them not to mail the check and that we would pick up the refund check when it was ready. We never heard from them again and they made no effort to refund our substantial deposit. I filed a lawsuit in small claims court and won a judgement for the amount of our deposit. Very dishonest company. read more

Guys came out to replace a large dining room glass table top. They had cut the original glass for me a year ago but my daughter dropped a bowl on it and cracked it badly. So I called them and told them I wanted to go with tempered glass this time and looked fwd to having them come out. Issue was they came out and didn't cut the rounded corners right (more straight than curved). I called it out right away and they gave me some song and dance about how they couldn't fix/rectify the cut. I told them they had cut it perfectly a year ago and even showed them the original table top so they could see. Their response was... and I quote: "last time was last time and this time is this time..." and that it wouldn't be worth their time to come back out and do it right. I was put off but didn't become indignant... just told them I didn't want it and sent them on their way. From the tenor of the other reviews, it appears this is a common practice with them so I'm just glad I caught it prior to cutting the check. I was just surprised at how cavalier they were ... as if they were doing me a favor... and that I should just accept a sub-par work product. Save your money and go with a more reputable shop. I get it now why they won't take credit cards... ie., to prevent chargebacks. Lesson learned. Beware. read more

They fixed a window at my private home! It is a disaster it's a double panel window and they replace just one of them and we paid 400+ $ for it. After inspecting the class the layer inside is full of scratches and they also left glass in the bottom of the window frame so you see all the broken glass still inside that frame. After calling them several times they came out and said that they going to replace the window. We are chasing them now since month, nobody is picking up their phone, or replies to messages. I used More Glass in Oceanside and they are HORRIBLE. They have been to my house six times and still not properly installed my glass shower doors. Always excuses, never results has been their mantra. The customer service is abysmal and attitude will only make you mad. The installer even mentioned they lose a lot of business because of their poor customer service. We contacted More Glass in National City to inquire about installation of window glass in our RV. Francisco came out to our house and convinced me that he could replace the glass at reasonable cost. He claimed extensive experience in replacing RV glass. I gave him a 50% deposit and scheduled an installation date. When I arrived with the RV Francisco was no where to be found, and no one in the shop had any knowledge of our job. I left for several hours, and when I returned Francisco informed me that they did not have the proper seal material and would need to order it. We rescheduled the installation a week later. When I arrived for the second time, again Francisco was no where to be found , and no one in the shop had any knowledge of our job. I tried contacting Francisco by phone with no answer. When I tried to speak to a worker in the shop he turned and walked away obviously avoiding me. I looked around the shop for the 10 large pieces of bronze colored glass and they were not in the shop. At this point, it was apparent that we were the victums of a scam. We had our lawyer send a demand letter to the business to request the return of our deposit and of course there was no response from More Glass. It is very clear that More Glass is a dishonest company and that Francisco is a con artist. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

They scheduled an appointment for a window glass replacement. They didn't show up and didn't even call me to cancel or reschedule. When I called back after the time window, I was told to wait few more hours which I did. They still never showed up and ruined a big chunk of my Saturday. They later called to apologize and requested me to reschedule which I did. Again, on that day, they called me half way through my appointment window and started askin me details of the window - size, type, pane etc. and also told me that the price I was quoted was too low and that they were going to charge me almost double, Not only they again wasted my time (I work full time and I had to take time off for their appointment on a Tuesday and loose my pay) but also they went back on their price quote. Very disappointed for wasting so much of time. Very unprofessional company. Please take your business elsewhere and make these guys close their business. First let me say we are giving 1 star only because we have to do something!! However, our recommendation is to NEVER use this company. The complete lack of communication and professionalism is ASTOUNDING! We originally contacted them to provide (2) custom pieces of glass on 11/1/16 and were told it would take 2 to 3 weeks to complete. We provided template glass on 11/10/16 for them to go by. We followed up weekly to see the progress. On 11/28/16 we were told that one of the original pieces of glass was broken and the new piece would be ready in (1) week. Fast forward to 1/10/17 when we were scheduled to pick up all the glass and when we got there it wasn't ready. We were told the glass would be ready on 1/13/17 so we went to their office to inspect it to ensure it met the specifications they were given. The color did not match but we chose to accept it and asked them to deliver it to us on 1/16/17 when we would measure all pieces to ensure they were the correct size. Upon receipt of the glass we sent an e-mail and stated if the glass did not match the dimensions exactly we would expect a full refund. They responded they would provide a full refund upon getting the glass back if that was the case. On 1/17/17 we found the measurements did not match our specifications. We then sent an e-mail stating that and asked for them to call us to schedule a pickup of the glass. Upon arrival into our office on 1/19/17 we had a very disturbing voice mail from More Glass stating in part "You just dumped it in the back which is private property with no one knowing and not in a good area. A customer from next door was walking by the door and the glass fell and broke and injured the neighbors customer". And that the customer who would be suing us. I quickly called and left a message stating we had done nothing of the sort and in fact I was looking at the glass in question as I spoke. We then sent them a picture of the glass still sitting in our showroom and requested they pick-up of the glass and provide a refund or we would be forced to take legal steps. The response was "Good Luck". We then sent a certified letter 1/24/17 to the owner requesting a meeting to resolve this issue. The letter was never signed for and we have never been contacted. read more

These guys are definitely sub par!!! I needed the glass and rollers changed in a patio door. Paco and the other installer changed the glass and rollers and they attempted to put the door back in. I happened to have iron bars, so they tried to maneuver the door back in with no success. They kept trying to force and push, I finally told them that I had to remove part of the frame to remove the door. Instead of getting his rubber mallet to remove part of the frame, Paco tried to remove it by kicking it off. After several attempts, Paco went to the truck to get the rubber mallet. After door was finally in the door wouldn't close all the way. Paco and the other technician tried to adjust it with no success. Paco said that's the best he could do. Before the repair door was hard to slide but easy to close all the way. I called More Glass and told them door was really hard to close. They told me that they would try to send someone the next day and they didn't. I asked them to send me their best guy the following day and they told me Paco was their best. So basically the job was not done right by their best technician. I had the door adjusted by another company. The problem was Paco bent the aluminum frame. Just Terrible!!! read more
