    Meatball sandwich
    Kat L.

Unassuming spot that is great for lunch. It's fast food but doesn't feel like it. It's welcoming but efficient. Great alternative to the chain sandwich shops in the area. Sandwiches are served on soft ciabatta bread. They don't skimp on portions. They also have build your own pasta where you choose the pasta and the sauce.

    Cheese bread is so good.

I've been to More than Pasta a few times now and it's definitely a treasure in Park Ridge. Where do I start. THE BREAD. You guys. The bread is so good. I ordered the cheesy breadsticks and marinara and boy, they are cheesy. Tons of cheese melted on fresh, soft and buttery ciabatta slices. It can't get any better than that. These are actually quite filling on their own, but make delicious left overs. I've tried the rigatoni with vodka sauce once and it was good. I really enjoyed the sauce. I think the noodles were a bit thick/dense and heavy and had a slight flour taste. I only had the rigatoni once so can't comment if this was an off day or not, but I still liked the dish and ate it for three meals - yes, the portion is that generous. The second time I had fettuccine noodles with marinara sauce. I think I added spinach too. Wow! This time the pasta was amazing! Probably one of the best fettuccine I've had. Sauce was delicious and I cannot wait to have this one again. Now the star of the show is the CHICKEN PARMESAN sandwich. The ciabatta is amazing. You can smell fresh baked bread with every bite you take. It's warm and pillowy soft and the chicken is pounded thin and tender and the tomato sauce and cheese.. it's just so good. Not to mention it's huge. It's a great one to share with a salad or pasta, that is, if you're willing to part with the other half of your sandwich. The chicken pesto sandwich is also very good, but the chicken parm is #1 for me. If I ate pasta more, I would probably be eating here at least once a week. Lastly, prices are great for the portion you get. Try it!

    Rigatoni with mini meatballs

Seating is tight in this eatery. There's loud music playing, a peeve of mine. I want to hear myself think or carry on a conversation without shouting. Prices are good. You pick your sauce and pick your pasta. Staff not the friendliest but not rude either. I got marinara rigatoni with mini meatballs, she got vodka sauce risotto. Both dishes were fresh and tasty and we got large portions. It was $30 for two meals and water, a decent value. Four and a half stars for value, four stars for the food, and three stars for the service, minus four and a half points for the music volume. Make it three and a half total.

I am pretty glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. I was out and about on a Saturday and wanted to have a quick meal that wouldn't break the bank. I decided to come here as the thought of homemade pasta sounded delightful. I ordered the mini meatballs with marinara and veggie marinara. Both were delicious! You can tell the pasta is homemade the moment you bite into it as it truly feels like you're in Italy. The food came out fast and also included a piece of bread. I asked for olive oil on the side for dipping. The employee who took our order was very kind. I really appreciated this cute little pasta shop. I highly recommend for anyone craving some authentic italian food!

Yummy pasta with slow aged beef

I was visiting Chicago and just landed and made it to my hotel. I was hungry to say the least, so opened up uber eats and saw this almost 5 star pasta place. I ordered the pasta with beef and it was so yummy. Hearty and flavourful, the 2 things I look for when eating pasta. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they do not offer gluten free pasta or alternative pasta options from gluten pasta.

Quick service. Tried both the risotto and the homemade pasta. The creamy carbonara was delicious. Nice option if you want a quick bite!

Your pasta made to order. Form the rigatoni or fettuccini to the variety of sauces you can choose from. Pasta perfection. Mwah! I chose fettuccini with pesto sauce, and added green peas and mushrooms. No meat. But I could have chosen pancetta, shrimp, chicken, sausage, beef, prosciutto, but I had a hankering for a herb-y and meatless pasta. Love, love, love. My daughter chose rigatoni, with vodka sauce, and added chicken. I had a taste of it and I must say it was wonderful! My other daughter chose rigatoni in vodka sauce, with shrimp, sausage and mushrooms. Decadent! Highly satisfying comfort food :-) My tummy left happy.

Chicken parm sandwhich it was huge. Chicken was great, juicy not dry. Sauce was perfect nothing extraordinary. The focaccia bread was delicious and finished the sandwhich up well! I'd definitely recommend. Brought the second half to work next day for lunch and was satisfied for entire shift! My girlfriend got the vodka fettuccine pasta and she enjoyed it, also finished the rest the next day for lunch. Can say staff was just a little bit rude, when I asked for a fork. It was left on the table by the entrance, but from where we sat it looked like a coffee mixing stick

I tried the chicken parm sandwich made with organic chicken and focaccia bread. I truly enjoyed everything about the sandwich! The bread was the best part.

Tried More than Pasta today. Interesting concept. Small restaurant in a relatively busy area of Park Ridge. Restaurant has a number of tables inside. They have a menu where you can choose Rigatoni vs. Fettuccini for the base pasta, and then they have a number of sauces to choose from, as well as other dishes including sandwiches, cheese bread, etc - I picked the Rigatoni with Ragu. Not bad. Very fresh, it was literally steaming hot. The ragu wasn't a ton but overall the dish was good and pretty tasty. I also tried the cheese bread - it was different than I thought it would be - it was bread with melted cheese on top. Pricing was average - $14.99 for the pasta dish. Restaurant was clean. Staff was reasonable. Parking is mostly street parking in front of the restaurant. Overall I think it's a place worth trying!

I very much dig the mushroom cream sauce. I haven't tried anything else. I doubt it's healthy (at all), but that's not why I get it.

I was left disappointed, I was not expecting a sour sauce, hard pasta and no bread. So they serve you JUST pasta, I would not recommend.

We were a little surprised when nothing was done for it, which isn't a big deal, but I'll be honest it was disappointing since we did come specifically to celebrate and had talked about it w our server. 3/5 Arancini - Very salty. None of us really enjoyed them because of that. They also came out lukewarm instead of hot. Would have been excellent if it was less salty and came out hot and crispy. 5/5 Fig & Mushroom (subbed for prosciutto) - The menu doesn't specify how the fig is served. Turned out to be fig jam rather than fresh fig, which wasn't what we expected. A little too sweet for me but overall still very much enjoyed it. Their pizza was cooked perfectly with enough toppings and cheese. Very good pizza! 5/5 Braised Short Rib + Polenta - so good! The short rib was excellent, just slightly salty. The polenta was perfect, and it came with a generous portion of wild mushrooms. 2/5 White Wine Cake (recommended as "unique") by our server - This was the most disappointing meal item. Our waitress told us it was special, but it was very bland and didn't match the description or image on their website. Their website showed a cake with a large scoop of ice cream on top, fair amount of whipped cream and raspberry sauce. Ours came with maybe a quarter of the size of that ice cream scoop, a little teaspoon dollop of whipped cream that you eat in one bite and the raspberry sauce was a tiny smear on bottom for decor but there wasn't enough to actually eat it. The cake itself was moist but lacked flavor. It took a really long time to come out, we thought perhaps they forgot, then forgetting we were celebrating a birthday on top of that was disappointing. Atmosphere - Beautiful space, very well done. The only issue is how close the tables are, you can't pull your chair back without hitting someone, and getting to the bathroom requires asking others to move because of how tight the layout is. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would return. While there were a few dishes we wouldn't order again, and others we would. Would love to try the wild mushroom pizza next time! The only thing was that since we had come to celebrate a birthday and didn't end up doing that, the night felt a little less special than we had expected--but still a nice experience overall.

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. Their bread is soft, back when I could eat it. They don't overfill it with mayo either and add some mild peppers or hot on request. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! Why only Five Stars?…read more Pazzi Di Pizza in Park Ridge, located next door to the fabulous Pickwick Theater, was an amazing choice for a birthday dinner. Just the two of us on a Monday night when many restaurants are closed, we arrived at our reservation time and were promptly seated. Each person who 'greeted' us had a big smile and a welcoming tone helping to set the mood in a positive way. Our server was Patrick who arrived once we were settled and we placed our drink order. My partner ordered a Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio, which she truly enjoyed, and for me, well, Jamesons is Jamesons and I'm always happy when my friend John Jameson joins me and especially when it's a healthy pour. As an appetizer we ordered the Grigliata Mista which hosts grilled Calamari, Octopus and Roasted Red Peppers with a Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Check out the photos, it was like a meal onto itself. The chef has Octopus down to an art. Soft, melt in your mouth with a fabulous 'grilled' accent. The Calamari was also done perfectly. soft with Just the right crunch, not tough and I'm not sure I'll ever order any other of their Antipasti moving forward. A great start to the meal. For entrees my partner, who has dined here with friends several times before, and being a huge eggplant fan, always has ordered the Involtini di Melanzana. Lightly breaded Eggplant Rolls Stuffed with Fresh Ricotta and Topped with Marinara with a side of Crostini. I tried a taste and knew exactly why it's her go to dish. Yes, it's on the Antipasti portion of the menu but she brought home enough for dinner tonight. I ordered from the Pasta portion of the menu and went right to the seafood medley, Zuppa di Pesce. Mussels, Clams, Shrimp and Calamari over Linguine. I ordered with the Garlic and Oil 'sauce'. The 3 Shrimp were 3-bite large and done to perfection. The Mussels were plentiful; the clams tender and the Calamari was delicious. Again, check out my photos. I've ordered this at many restaurants and never taken any home but, I too, have dinner tonight. As an aside, I watched a few of their Pizzas be delivered to nearby tables and as a New York Pizza Snob I will have to give them a try soon, they looked 'just right'...
