It was difficult to find anything that stood out, and there just weren't many stores worth browsing. The staff I interacted with were okay--nothing particularly friendly or unfriendly--but the service wasn't enough to make up for the overall experience. What surprised me most were the high prices. For the limited selection and aging atmosphere, many items seemed overpriced compared to newer shopping centers. If you're already in the area, it might be worth a quick walk through for nostalgia, but I wouldn't make a special trip. There are better malls with more variety and better value nearby.

This place used to be called Cravings at 99 Ranch but I believe it has changed. Not a lot of customer compared to other 99 Ranch stores. Additionally, there are restaurants inside but it is now a ghost town.

In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

The 99 Ranch closest to my house are both in Arcadia, with the newest one at the Santa Anita mall, but good luck with ever finding a parking. Overall, they offer very good pricing on their items. They always offer things on sale, which is a huge plus. However, I do feel 99 Ranch in Chino Hills isn't as clean and organized as their other locations or their competitors such as 168. They don't really offer much customer service here, especially if you don't speak Mandarin. I have witnessed customers struggling to get help from the non-English speaking Staff. The overall, I rate 99 Ranch Market in Chino Hills a 6/10.
