This is the Monterrey and weighs about 2 pounds of caren asada steak.This burrito was absolutely amazing thick, meaty, with seasoned hash browns and the cilantro added some fantastic flavor. The house made salsa is to die for if you like some zip in your morning. It is savory like Truffle but has a medium to hot heat depending on how much you enjoy the heat with great flavor. The burrito alone is not heat spicy just flavor filled meaty goodness. The salsa adds the heat. If the zombie apocalypse happened this would be the food I would miss the most. I have lived around the corner from Morning Kick for over a year and did not know it existed until a friend recommended it. After my friend recommended Morning Kick, I took our family to eat breakfast there the next day. We ordered the carne asada burrito, kids waffle egg meal and Mike's Mackin' burrito. All options were delicious. My daughter devoured her waffle and eggs She's getting pickier and more specific with her foods the older she gets but she loved her breakfast here. As per usual, it's always a delight seeing your kids finish/enjoy their meals. Staff were great. Parking can get tight around the restaurant. Tables were clean. Well, decided to try this place despite the inflated prices. I had the issak with a side of green Chile. Just eggs, cheese and tots, but they cut the tots in half it seems and are a bit skimpy on them. My burrito was 90% eggs, which were cooked a bit soft (I did ask scrambled hard). The green Chile was good, but nothing really distinguished this burrito from any others. Maybe try something tot related next time. read more

Me and my fiancé LOVE morning kick (especially their breakfast burritos)! We first discovered them with their food truck at the Gilbert farmers market and after trying it for the first time we both simultaneously said it was the best breakfast burrito we'd ever had! This still holds true! The size of the burrito alone is enough for my 6'2 fiancé and I to share and STILL have leftovers; which makes the price worth it to us! We just came to the actual store location for the first time today and I tried their coffee for the first time and i'm also pleasantly surprised by it! (pictured below is an iced sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk) Their menu is extensive, food-wise, and they also have lots of options for caffeine drinks that aren't coffee! ALL of the staff members also very friendly and kind!! 10/10 would recommend this place and we will continue to show up every week for our cowboy breakfast burrito!! read more

I have been eating at Morning Kick since they were just a food truck. They are on the pricier side, however it is due to the size of the food. These are hands down the biggest burrito in the state! The country breakfast burrito is my aboslute favorite. Service is also great. Tip: Place your order online. It can be hit or miss with the wait times due to how busy it can get. I go here almost every morning to pick up a "Kevin Bacon Kick" Sandwich. The staff is extremely friendly and happy every time I come in. I always do takeout so I can't speak on dine-in service but the place seems very clean and cute inside. I love the decor. They also have super good energy drinks (very expensive) and a lot of unique menu options. The only thing I don't love is the tater tots. I tried them once and never again. read more

But it worse than that. 3rd time trying to give this place a fair shake. All 3 times came away disappointed. Never received a straight up apology. 2 times I ended up with no food. Today we ordered online because in the past employees had told us how busy they are. $38 (which is crazy) for 1 breakfast burrito and 1 breakfast bowl with salsa. I went to pick up the order, it was essentially empty. 1-2 tables taken and 0 take out orders on the rack. It had been 30 minutes, and my order was not on the rack. I checked my bank account and I was charged. So I walked out as I was fairly angry as there always seems to be an issue with Morning Kick. I waited about 5 minutes to call to make sure I wasn't grumpy. Checked my account and now there was a charge and a refund. So I called and spoke with a staff member who's first reaction was to tell me it wasn't anything to do morning kick, but must be an ordering system issue. Then said "that's odd they would charge you and then refund it". Btw, received no email or warning the order had been cancelled. This is the morning kick theme. Not our fault, always something beyond their control, too busy, system issues, fryer issue. Never leading with an apology but leading with an excuse outside their control and then an explanation on why you are doing something wrong. Fast casual?? More like quick excuses. read more

This is a very nice small business with wonderful drinks and breakfast foods. We had the chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito. Both were really good. We also have their specialty pancakes that were just delightful as well as their homemade sauces. They have some really nice special holiday drinks that you should check out as well. Figured I check this place out since I was in the mood for something new.. It seemed to have really good review. Ordered the 3 meat combo burrito, Arizona burrito, and loaded tots, and 2 coffee... Cost little over $60. Which seemed little high for what I ordered.. But to my surprise the burritos were huge.. Didn't finish it.. So. I guess. I could have ordered 1 per 2 people and share.. Food over all were pretty good.. I guess maybe I am a picky eater.. I like my burrito where items inside is somewhat mixed or portioned out evenly. I don't like biting into all meat on portion and all eggs in one portion.. Coffee was OK nothing special. I saw drip coffee so I thought it was literally individual drip coffee.. Unfortunately, for our first experience we did not enjoy the food. I talked to the male blonde manager, and he completely lost his composure when I was trying to explain that the food was not what we expected. We did not finish our food, and we returned it exactly the way the picture is shown. we did enjoy the drinks. He said he had to call 5 people to issue a discount. Side note: my grandma asked for no cheese, and they put cheese under taco and she is still in the bathroom as I type so we left super sad. My husband got the Arizona burrito and it was the perfect amount of spice! We ordered a couple of breakfast burritos, some extra pieces of bacon and a hot chocolate. Surprisingly, the hot chocolate was the only thing we didn't like. It was really bland, not much chocolate flavor. The burritos were good (not great, but better than most) and the bacon was actually cooked (most places serve undercooked bacon for some reason). We ordered online and when I went to pick up the order the young man that worked the counter was entertaining a young child sitting at a table. Seems like a really nice person/employee! read more

I have passed Morning Kick for some time but this is my first time going back. I will be sure to return in the future. The food is very good and the customer service is great! I ordered the Green Chili bowl and was very happy with the size and quality of the meal. Their side salsas are delicious too. Their online ordering process is seamless and I recommend as they are popular and their space is limited. Not good for groups. My one "gripe" is that the prices of their beverages are a little cray cray. I got a cold brew and it cost $7. It was a little glaring considering my breakfast dish was only $11. read more
