Food was less than mediocre and service is slow. I was nearly finished with meal before my coffee was delivered. The cashier was more concerned with flirting with some young women than completing orders. Also was expensive for what you got. I probably should have checked the website beforehand. I just searched for brunch near me and thought this was a regular restaurant so J was thrown off when I called to ask if there was a long wait time for tables. They are not open for INSIDE dining. You can walk in and place an order and then sit outside or you can call ahead or order online and then pickup. The menu is food truck-esque which makes perfect sense since these guys started out as an award winning food truck. Tater tots in everything...YES PLEASE! Tots are my fave! I ordered the Izaak just plain tots with eggs and cheese in a tortilla. The burrito is massive and packed full. The eggs are cooked well and not runny or watery at all (read real eggs and not continental breakfast crap), the tots are crispy and the tortilla is soft and almost buttery flaky like. The eggs have too much pepper for my taste and I wish the stuff was mixed together so you don't get a pile of cheese or tots only in one area of the burrito, but overall it was delish and super filling. Hubby ordered the Harrison. The diced ham was mostly in the bottom but he devoured the whole thing and said it was really flavorful and was impressed with how well the tortilla made everything else taste even better. It was strong enough to hold everything in without falling apart and not too dry to have it crack while eating. It was a little too much pepper on the eggs for him too and he usually likes pepper so it wasn't just me. The paradise drink was way too sweet. It tasted like pure sugar. I think I saw plant based drink and thought it was going to be a "healthy" juice to go with the breakfast, but it was so sweet I couldn't take more than 4 sips. I don't do any added sugar or sugar substitutes so it was just way too sweet for my taste. Hubby downed his cold brew just make sure you stir it up more before drinking with straw or you get all the sugar syrup at the bottom. read more

This breakfast nook of a place is very highly rated and I can see why as I had a delicious burrito filled to the brim of flavor, size, and proportion. You can easily split this burrito between two people. I ordered the Cowboy and it was spectacular in size and taste. The coffee I ordered was okay, Americano with a shot of coconut. It was a cold drink and I was expecting a blended drink of crushed ice. I spent almost $20 but it was very good. Like I said the size for two people and or leftovers. Be sure to get there before 1pm as I think they close early. The help is very attentive and cordial. Thanks to the very young man whom helped me order, cooked my food, and delivered to my table. Stumbled upon this place by accident trying to find a breakfast place on a Saturday morning, and I was so pleasantly surprised! The service was amazing-the cashier was very kind and welcoming when asking if it was our first time and was kind enough to give us a tour of the menu. Shortly after we found a table my delicious Lavender Latte came out. The food came out quickly and did not disappoint. We had the Cowboy Burrito and the carne asada breakfast tacos, both of which were absolutely delicious. The bacon in the burrito may have been the best I've ever had. What a darling little breakfast spot! I have been wanting to try this place for sometime , but it's not the closest. However, anything with tator tots , I will drive a ways for ! Finally got the perfect opportunity to drive out and get some burritos for us and some friends and they did not disappoint! I got the country burrito (had sausage) and I loved it . My sister and friend got the cowboy (had bacon) and they both raved about the bacon so much and how it was diced bacon, so probably will try that next time. We ordered a total of 5 burritos and all of them had a generous portion of meat , all huge burritos and the tortillas were fantastic (which to me , is the most important part of the burrito). But to talk about the main attraction, the tator tots! I didn't know if they would just be mushy mixed in with everything and I wouldn't really be able to tell they were tator tots, boy was I wrong ! The tator tots had the perfect crispness I could tell each bite I got them !! Makes me want to try any of the other dishes with the tator tots because I bet they are all fabulous. Not only was the food wonderful, the inside was adorable, but all the staff working were so sweet and friendly. Tasty but very greasy. Most things on the menu come with tots. I'm not used to eating fried foods anymore so my stomach didn't handle it well. I have a Facebook food group (we are food snobs and I'm also a chef) , where someone recommended this place and their Burrito Box. It sounded great, so on Sunday, last minute we decided to order one offline to pick up. There's only 2 adults and a toddler in the house by the way lol, but we saw great reviews and we love burritos! We had chosen all the burritos BUT the Veggie and Izzac. The spouse went to go pick them up, not realizing how far it actually was from us, we are in East Mesa. He said the staff was really friendly/ nice and they had called him, while he was driving over to confirm our order. I guess they asked what burritos we wanted, although we already gave them our list? So we just told them whatever was given. He picked up everything and drove all the way home, to find that we didn't get all the burritos we ordered, instead it looked like one of each other the cheaper ones? By the time he got home they were already closed so we couldn't call or anything. I ended up eating the Arizona, although I wanted a "decade" I thought the Chorizo was pretty delicious. Spouse had the Cowboy, which would probably have been something I would have liked, since I love bacon, but even with the crunchy overload of bacon, I still found it to lack some flavor and he agreed too. Our son (4.5) tried to tackle the country burrito, since he loves sausage, tater tots, egg and cheese, but he said he didn't care for the sausage and the burrito was bland, so he just kind of picked at it. We made a bet that maybe the ones that we didn't order or want will end up being the better ones, so we cut the Veggie in half, and my spouse ended up liking that one the most. The Izzak we didn't even touch. The Salsa was Okay as well and we all LOVED the Chipotle Aioli, it definitely added that extra boost of flavor we were looking for. Not too sure if we will be back, but if in the neighborhood, I would definitely want to try the burrito I originally wanted. They have excellent customer service Chris the GM was VERY helpful when I had issues with online ordering. He went above and beyond to help me resolve the situation. Was excited to try this place looking at all the reviews. The food was ok and definitely not worth the price. The average cost of a burrito was $14 dollars. We got the carne asada burrito and bowl with 2 kids waffles. With drinks overall price was 76 dollars without tip. I hope they are paying their employees more then $14 dollars an hour. read more

I have always enjoyed their food truck at the Gilbert Farmers Market but today was my first time at their restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are incredible but one of the staff members makes me hesitant to keep coming. He made weird comments towards me and I stopped coming for a year hoping he would be gone or forget. When I decided to go again he was still working and continued his behavior of making odd comments and asking personal questions. It's one thing to be friendly it's another thing to talk to girls clearly younger than you in a strange manner. This is also not just a me thing, multiple people I have come with have agreed. I did see a similar review was left about 9 months ago from what sounds to be the same man. The reply said he was reprimanded but clearly not enough was done if he is still behaving this way. I first tried their food at the food truck but damn it's delicious! I have been going there every month and the food just keeps getting better. No wonder there is always a long line to get as minimum as a coffee. Their menu is limited on their truck, but that wouldn't stop you from telling they serve the best breakfast Sandwiches and burritos. I'm a huge fan of breakfast burritos but the problem I often have is finding a place that offers a reasonable priced burrito with quality ingredients. In this case Morning Kick has some of the best burritos in the valley and I often think about when I'm going to go again for breakfast. The carne asada burrito is STUFFED with goodness and they don't go cheap on the meat portion! Their salsas are pretty good as well, it's the chunky type which I 100% like. I'll have to try the coffee next time. Oj was not freshly squeezed. THEIR Cherry Pepsi hits good! Even in the morning, it pairs well with the burrito for some odd reason. You guys rock! read more

I kept hearing good things about this place, so to live on the edge. I came after I dropped off my daughter at daycare and on my way to work. The guy at the counter was amazingly friendly, just what I needed on an early Friday morning. He told me the most popular burrito was the AZ burrito- chorizo w/green chile. So I got that. I also got a Rock and Rise drink and a butterfly cookie. All this with tip was a little over $30. I got in my car to drive to work. And took a bite of the burrito. It felt like my taste buds were in a fight on which direction to go. There were eggs, then there were tater-tots, then there was chorizo... it wasn't a bad burrito by any means. I just wouldn't get it again. My son ate the other half and ultimately said the same thing - not delicious, but okay. The Rock and Rise was my favorite. Sometimes, energy drinks get me jittery and uncomfortable, but this was perfect. Not too sweet, and it didn't have that harsh energy drink taste. The butterfly cookie was for my daughter... it's beautiful, she probably won't want to eat it, but again, it's beautifully decorated. read more

Stopped in at Morning Kick for a nice morning breakfast date with a friend . Super cute place with such cute homey decor. There is seating both inside and outside . We were greeted kindly when we walked in and the staff was very welcoming . Both my friend and I ordered a Carne Asada burrito bowl and iced coffees. I ordered a Iced Vanilla coffee with oat milk. They have oat milk , almond milk and coconut milk too. The little side of salsa is so yummy, I wish had more of it ! Both were delicious and we enjoyed our breakfast. Thanks so much! read more

Best breakfast burritos in the area! I came on a day there was a power outage and they were closing early so I couldn't order, but was so eager to try before leaving town that I stopped by again the following day and so glad I did. I ordered the Arizona and I'm not sure if it was the burrito or the salsa, but my mouth was on FIRE and I'm not complaining! The burritos are massive and could easily be two meals. Great breakfast burritos! My husband is always looking for a good breakfast burrito. We got recommendations for this place and decided to give it a try. Space is small maybe for 3-4 tables with 4 seats each. Quiet and relaxing. The burritos were huge. Big enough for 2 ppl to share. We both got burritos and it ended up becoming leftovers to be taken home but that's ok! Super yummy and could really tell how fresh the ingredients were.
