Out of three steaks that we ordered, non of the three were cooked to the correct ordered temperature, either overcooked or undercooked. None of the food looked like the picture posted on Yelp from the business owner especially the Dry-Aged Porterhouse Steak, false advertisement!!! Or maybe that's how it looks only for the high profile celebrities that eat there! The Miso Marinated Sea Bass was probably the one dish that did not disappoint. As for the sides, they weren't anything to die for, we ordered Lobster Macaroni Shells & Cheese, Matchstick Parmesan & Truffle Fries, Jumbo Grilled Asparagus, and Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes. FYI... Dry-Age Porterhouse Steak is not worth the $135 they charge!!! The Dessert... The Candied Walnut Cheesecake was average, tastes like they purchased it at CostCo and added the candied walnuts on top (can't beat Ruth Chris Cheesecake). The Crème Brûlée was average, nothing out of the ordinary. As for the Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, yeah, that was good. The Service... As I stated before, I expect a lot more considering the restaurant and location. The waitress brought us our side dishes but no plates, we had to wait and ask for plates. The desserts were all brought out at different times, some of us were done with our dessert before others started on theirs and no utensils, we had to ask again. I'm not even sure why I left her a tip which by the way, they ask for 17% to 22% (RIDICULOUS). No Vegetarian options... We brought our mom here for her birthday. They customized the menu with a happy birthday to her. This was a nice personal touch. We came on a Monday which was nice since it wasn't crowded. We started with the tar tar, wedge salad, and Caesar salad. What a refreshing start to our meal. We also ordered an iced tea, whiskey flight, and pinot to drink. The wedge salad had pickled onions, tomatoes, chopped eggs and bacon and I substituted Bleu cheese dressing for ranch. I'm so happy I did. For our main dishes, we ordered the filet mignon with shrimp, miso sea bass, and prime bone in rib eye with garlic butter. We ordered the creamed spinach, bacon and gouda au gratin potatoes, and steak cut pork. I was quiet during our meal because it was delicious. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. Morton's Steakhouse delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish, our server was so accommodating too love her!(Forgot her name). The vibe was cool too very quiet & intimate. We ordered the smoked Gouda & bacon au gratin potatoes, king crab mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, truffled cream corn, a 36oz tomahawk ribeye, bacon macaroni shells & cheese, Wagyu beef dumplings, Wagyu meatballs, and their strawberry, raspberry, and lemon drop martinis. The au gratin potatoes were easily the standout side--rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the king crab mashed potatoes were also really good. The Wagyu beef dumplings were crispy and juicy at the same time, and the sweet chili oil paired perfectly with them, while the Wagyu meatballs were pretty decent (just wish they came with more than two). We hadn't visited Morton's for several years but not for any specific reason...just hadn't been there. We went last night and had a great time. We ordered the lobster twin tails and my BF ordered a ribeye. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we also ordered creamed spinach, onion rings and a baked potato. While the food was terrific and well-priced, it was the excellence service by KOSI that we will remember. Her service was excellent, she knew the menu and she made good wine recommendations, too. Next time you're in this Morton's, ask for KOSI. You will love her service and attention to guest detail. read more

This was the first year we got a cute little anniversary sign on our table along with our photo taken and printed! Beautiful touch. After our dinner was cleared and finished we were surprised with a chocolate lava cake with ice cream that said "happy anniversary!" It was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed, unfortunately when the bill was received we were charged $17 for it! If we were aware we were getting it and being charged we would have at least liked to have picked out our own dessert. Had a reservation here for floor seating for Thanksgiving at 12:15. Waited at hostess stand for about 10 minutes before anyone came up front. I actually walked back a bit into the restaurant to be seen, then someone came. We, party of 3, we're then seated next to the bathroom and next to a bunch of large and loud tables. Mind you, the restaurant was maybe 25% full. My wife asked if we could move away from the bathroom to another table. We were told by the hostess there were no other tables available. Umm, there were maybe 7 tables in use and 25+ empty on the floor. Lots of empty booths as well, which would have been preferred, but we didn't even ask for that. We just didn't want to be right next to the bathroom. The booths that were taken only had parties of 2. Anyways, we asked for the manager. Kelsy came and again said we could not move anywhere else. She was rude as well, stating, "there are no tables we can move you to, and you were 15 minutes late"... Umm, no, we weren't 15 minutes late. We had stood at the hostess stand and were ignored, which is why when we were finally seated it was around 12:30. Luckily, we only came here for appetizers and drinks. We have reservations at 3 at Harold & Belle's, and a family Thanksgiving party to go to at 6. So at least they didn't ruin our Thanksgiving. We walked out. I have been to Morton's a few times for work dinners, and I have always liked the food, but something about last night just blew me away. Appetizers: Tenderloin Blue Cheese Crostini: YUM!!! The bread was unexpectedly soft in a very fresh and good way and easy to bite through so there was no mess, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the cheese on top, I would have never known it was Blue Cheese, it was so good. You must understand, I abhor Blue Cheese, I do not like the taste, so this Blue cheese topping was something very high tier that I liked it!!! Ahi Tuna Poke: So fresh and danced in my mouth. Unexpected for a steakhouse to have good sushi, but that bite I had was amazing. My only qualm was I would have loved to have more than one but it seemed like people only got one each. Someone at my table said he saw the table behind us get seconds, I didn't witness it, but if it's true that wasn't fair! Next I decided to go with the Onion soup instead of salad. It was very flavorful however for some reason mine was cold. Everyone at my table had hot soups but mine was not hot, that was a bummer. I still ate and enjoyed it though but I could tell it would have tasted better hot and the consistency looked soupier for everyone elses and mine looked thickened. For the main course, I got the salmon, and a couple other people got the SeaBass or the Center Cut Filet Mignon. I didn't get photos because I was too busy enjoying! We just had dinner here to celebrate an anniversary and oh my god, everything about this experience was AMAZING. We started with a seafood tower (oysters, lobster, crab, shrimp, ahi, oh my!) that was magic to the eyes and mouth. Then, we shared a Porterhouse that was divine and would make any carnivore pleased. To supplement, we chose the lobster mac and cheese (huge chunks of lobster) and the creamed corn (delicious). We were really happy about the wine pairing (cab flight) and how well it all blended together. What a difference a second visit makes! After our last visit, Morton's had pretty much fallen off our list of "fine dining destinations". However, when we received an email advertising an upcoming Lobster Weekend(full 2- pound Maine lobster at a very reasonable price), the lobster lover in me just couldn't resist. With lowered expectations I made a rezzy and planned a post-movie date night dinner.. and man, were we more than pleasantly surprised! Everything was exactly the opposite of our last visit - service was spot on, professional, attentive and efficient. Drinks were well made and delivered quickly, table kept neat, my wife's iced tea refilled on a regular basis. And the food.. well, my huge lobster was absolutely one of the best I have ever had west of Bar Harbor, sides(shoestring fries, a huge loaded baked potato) and wedge salads all fresh and delicious. Not a lobster fan, my wife once again took advantage of the DineLA inclusive menu, but this time ordering the filet, which she loved. It was perfectly cooked, the bite I tried literally melted in my mouth. We left so pleased we had decided to give Morton's another try.. our experience far exceeding our expectations, and leaving us excited for our next visit. You can ask for seconds if you wish. I came here for the steak and the steak delivered. So I was very happy. The ambiance was dark and elegant with 20's and 30's music playing in the background. The tequila cocktails were tasty, and the chef paired them perfectly with several small bites. If you're curious about tequila but don't know where to start, this is the way to go. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun - not stuffy at all. We learned a lot (about tequila) without it feeling like a boring lecture. We're already keeping an eye out for their next tasting event because this one was such a hit. If you want to pay high prices to get service on par than McDonald's, then you've found your place. Having seen this location in the area for years, finally thought it would be worth giving it a try. Oh how wrong I was. First off, only street parking or pay in the garage. Then when walking into the complex, no clear signage to the restaurant as the front door is hidden behind hedges. This should have been a sign of things to come. Upon walking in, there was no hostess at the front desk and we had to wait a bit for her to arrive and greet us. Taking a step back, it was also odd that they had only called an hr before my reservation to confirm the reservation and special occasion noted in the reservation. We were then shown to our table. It took about 5 min. for our waitress to arrive and provide us with menus, when other tables that were sat near us were clearly handed menus as they sat down. Odd, though maybe since we were presented with proper menu versus just the paper versions. So I let that slide. The stranger scenario was that the servers who were covering the tables all around us, was not the same server we were given. Rather strange having worked in restaurants and knowing many assign by sections. After ordering, the food arrived in proper sequence, though we did have to wait extra time for the accompaniment to our entrees as it apparently took longer to cook. The food was the only positive from the experience as while the steaks were not quite cooked as ordered, since they seem to have switched the "cook" of our requested steaks as my medium plus, was very medium, and her medium was medium plus. Forgivable as the flavor was great on both cuts, though somewhat of a "rookie" mistake from what is supposed to be a higher tier steakhouse. Our server was definitely not as attentive as the others in our area, as we seemed to be outside whatever section she was primarily serving. Now this is where my comment earlier regarding the confirmation of the special occasion comes into play. 2 tables around us also were celebrating special occasions and they were clearly greeted upon seating with acknowledgment of the occasion noted. The table to one side of us received 2 different desserts in recognition of their multiple occasions. We did not get acknowledgment at any time of our occasion, which had been confirmed earlier, and while I hate to think it was discriminatory, just felt rather odd that multiple other tables clearly had recognition, yet we did not after it had been confirmed. Maybe it was just that we got a server who clearly did not review notes prior to seating, as to be expected for a higher end establishment, though after this visit, I can clearly discount this restaurant as being in that category. Having dined at most of the higher end steakhouses in LA and other cities, I would put this on par with a casual sit down version. I had other issues upon paying the bill here that I can state were not handled well by management, who was rather dismissive than attempting to be helpful. In short, I would strongly discourage anyone spend their hard earned $$ here when there are much better steakhouses in the area who actually provide service and a good meal. And if you're willing to drive further out, there are tons better at this price point. I could definitely recommend a few! read more

I love this location because it's local to a lot of places and it's easy to park and always has reservations. Food is fresh and always delivered piping hot to the table. I go to Morton's frequently. Very pleased with the service as always. We dined at the bar. Great food, great atmosphere. Our first time here was a few weeks ago celebrating my hubbys birthday! We enjoyed it So much we are going again tonight to celebrate our 45th Wedding anniversary. The food was good, however the restaurant room felt like a " jovial cantina". All those tables stuck to each other, the loud noise and the " not so classy people " I miss the Morton's classy old days, La Cienega Morton was the experience back in the day, Our table was by the walkway, we had to move the table to accommodate another party. Everything they need to work on food and service. I was so disappointed the waitress was not friendly even the salt on the table. We had an issue with there was no salt on the table and then when they brought it, the holes were so small. It was not coming out then we had to ask for them to bring a jar full of salt.. read more
