Tried the Bubbles & Bites and overall, it was a good experience and worth the price. The promotion runs through the month of January and mentioned that you had to be seated at the bar to participate, but I noticed guests throughout the restaurant enjoying the same special at regular tables. The truffle fries were amazing. I had the smash burgers, which were just okay. Although you can't go wrong with Veuve Clicquot, which happens to be my favorite champagne, so that was a win. We were celebrating my birthday, and I received a complimentary dessert. I chose the Key Lime Pie; it was very rich but good. We also had the bread. All in all, it was a fun night at the bar, and the vibe was great.

Fantastic Hot Chocolate Lava Cake dessert !!!

I ordered a NY Strip - very rare, Beefeater Gin on rocks and a divine slice of seasonal Chocolate Layer Cake tonight. Everything was phenomenal, very delicious, high quality and so full of flavor. My steak was beefy, fatty without being excessively fatty, very tender and top notch. The inner temp was very good and cool with the plate nicely warm. The entire cut was very consistent. The drink was cold, refreshing, piny and sharp. I hadn't had the cake here since 2019 or 2020 before the pandemic lockdown when they last sold it regularly. It was so delicious, chocolaty, both dense n fluffy in some bites too and very well-proportioned in cake to icing ratio. It was so decadent and not overly sweet. It even tastes like it has some buttermilk in it and as I took each bite it brought back that pre-pandemic dessert memory. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient as usual too.

Morton never disappoints, always consistent and great service between Houston and Atlanta. My go to is the 16 oz. "Proprietary" Prime Cajun Ribeye. Personally my temperature preference is well done and I get hell for it no matter what steakhouse I'm at, but I don't care. It's never burnt or too chewy, if you can cook, well done is enjoyable. This time I tried the Smoke Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin potatoes for my side and didn't regret it. Cocktails and wine selection are always on point. The ambience is what you would expect from an upscale steakhouse - dim lighting, smart casual attire and valet parking.

My friend and I were excited to come and experience the new Bubbles and Bites they are offering the month of January. Sadly we were very underwhelmed. While the French fries were excellent the beef and chicken sliders fell short with lack of moisture (think Popeyes biscuit), and flavor. We did order some appetizers which were great!! The meal deal also comes with champagne or Belvedere martini. I would still recommend you check it out because it's a great deal for $29. Please note you have to sit in the bar area to get this deal, but service was great.

Thomas was extremely amazing! He was super knowledgeable about the menu and everything he and this location are top notch. We had a small celebration for our family last night and Thomas took our photo and the Hostess printed out a little card for my son's acceptance to the US Naval Academy. Morton's also gave Morgan a free dessert and it was amazing - the Molten Chocolate Cake! But the service and time there was impeccable. We definitely got the Seafood Tower (the small one), steaks, a lobster tail, scallops and lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly cooked! The Filets are amazing and sharable!!!!!

So so so good! Smoke parking. Sat quickly without a reservation. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The bread was chef's kiss! It was so soft and addictive! This was hands down the best espresso martini I have had yet!!!

came here for dinner on a weekday very classy vibe :) you can take the elevator or walk the stairs up to the restaurant im impressed by pictures of celebs visiting Morton's locations of various states from George Clooney to George Bush .. perfect photo ops at lounge area food was served very quick we had a variety of finger foods for appetizer caesar salads, and onion soup they serve up to 12oz of filet mignon (very generous for a center cut) and stuffed salmon is also a must order (very tender and well-seasoned) there are plenty of parking spots at the plaza, and also valet

I ordered the 16oz Prime New York Strip and was really disappointed. I asked for medium rare plus, but the sides of the steak were burned, which left a bitter taste. The steak itself lacked flavor and definitely didn't feel like the high-quality cut you'd expect from a place like Morton's. For sides, I had the mac and cheese, but the cheese didn't taste like the best quality and the dish overall was underwhelming. I also tried the meatballs, which again didn't stand out--just nothing memorable about them. For a restaurant that markets itself as high-end and charges premium prices, the food just didn't deliver. Honestly, I would have had a better meal cooking at home. I regret not going to Perry's, Pappas Bros., or Mastro's instead, where I've had far better experiences for the same (or less) money. Overall, this was a really disappointing and expensive visit. I won't be coming back. The service was decent and the restaurant was nice but none of it can make up for lack of flavor.

Everything was nice. Wait staff was great. Management checked in every few minutes to make sure we were okay. Food was great. Ambiance was quiet and great for date night

This is my new favorite restaurant in Houston and believe me I have lived here for 23 years and been to hundreds of restaurants. The food is amazing but what really makes this place stand out is the ambience and service. Thanks so much Maggie for your hospitality! Jam was an excellent bartender and even the GM Patrick stpped by to introduce himself!

It also felt like a third space of sorts, because I was hanging out with a well connected friend, and everyone who came in was a who's who of the Houston restaurant/nightlife scene, and gathered for what turned out to be an unplanned hang out. They were hosting a vinyl swap night, so folks were coming in to peruse the many boxes of vinyls, and a DJ spun classic r&b tunes. I hear that on some nights they make space for a dance floor so people can show off their best two step in the space. The drinks were great and well priced but the wine selection is what got me. I was told they were inspired by Japan's many vinyl listening bars-- having been to many across Japan as well as many NYC imitators, this place actually impressively comes close. Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake. Overall nothing here was bad but with the plethora of restaurants in the Houston area I can't justify recommending or returning.

Located in Midtown this cute spot offers good music, fine food, and great ambiance. The mood is set with a soundtrack of classic hits playing in the background, and let's not forget about that bathroom, it's wild! I mean, I got a whole "duolingo" French lesson (the language of love) while washing my hands! Things like that definitely set this place apart from the rest. I was greeted warmly from the second I stepped in the door! While I waited for my party to arrive I sat at their bar area and ordered a Pineapple Mule served with a smile. Right off the bat I connected with James , one of the waitstaff who also happened to be serving our table. He was so the BEST! Hands down the most awesome waitstaff I've ever met. He made our time there special. I felt like I've known him for years, and he knew just how to connect with each person in our group! We all fell in love with him instantly! Tonight (likely due to the Valentine's Day crowd) the meal was pre-set for every guest. This meal included bread, salad, and Collette steak in their special sauce, with fries. There were dessert options as well, from which I chose a key lime pie. And an assortment of after dinner coffees. What blew my mind was that they came around and offered more food to us after finishing our first entree plate! I wasn't expecting that, and was pleasantly surprised. Parking for this location sits right behind the restaurant, a parking garage that is free. Because of the number of shops and restaurants around (an especially since this was Valentines weekend) parking can be at a premium during certain points of the day, so think about that when coming. There is also street parking available too. Seating for Medium Rare is offered both inside and outside (patio). The price average for this place is moderate, and folks can dress up or down. It is a beautiful place for a girls night out, date night, celebrations, brunch, etc! I had a wonderful time here! An amazing experience for sure. P.S. they give you Bazooka gum at the end of your meal! That brought back good memories for sure! This was my first time coming, and it won't be my last. This place is definitely worth checking out! Enjoy!

Definitely a heavy dish, especially for a vegetable option, as it was swimming in a butter cream sauce that started to congeal as it cooled off. Would choose this more as an indulgent appetizer rather than a healthy veggie option. I wonder if one could ask for the sauce on the side... - Tuna tostada (3.5/5)-- if you like strong flavors, this one packs a punch. The gochujang aioli beneath the tuna is really concentrated, making it difficult to taste the actual tuna. There's a bit of heat but thankfully I wouldn't say it was spicy. Fun to try. The tostada itself was very dense and almost a bit bread-y versus a crispy chip texture. - Crab fried rice (4/5)-- comes with lobster foam that is mixed table side and a generous amount of crabmeat lumps. The rice actually had a nice texture without being too... grainy / individualized, but it was too salty for me. - Akaushi Wagyu beef (4.5/5)-- loved the texture which was tender but with some chew (was expecting more of a melt-in-the-mouth texture though) and the veggies that it came with. It was heavily salted, too much so for me. Would've been perfect with less salt since there's already a chimichurri sauce with it. - Peanut butter tart (4.5/5)-- peanut butter lovers rejoice! The chocolate filling was rich, thick, and sweet which was complemented nicely with the whipped cream (not sweet at all). The peanut flavor really shined. The crust didn't have much of a taste by itself and was sandy in texture, not sure if on purpose or over-baked and dried out. Either way, the tart looked impressive when it arrived and was delectable-- my favorite bite of the night! Overall a nice experience! Although there was a mess up and the rest of our two salads and crab rice wasn't packed with our other food to take home; I was pretty sad about that since it was quite a bit of food (and $$). I might return for that peanut butter tart, but everything else was too heavy and too salty for me. I'm personally not a huge butter fan, but if you are, definitely make a reservation for a special occasion or date!
