There's something about walking in, ordering a great steak, sipping on a whiskey and Coke, and just soaking in the atmosphere--it hits every time. The environment is warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the evening. The kids have been seeing all the viral moments and really wanted to try this place, so we finally gave it a shot. Honestly... we were disappointed. The only thing that stood out was the bread. The lamb chops came out undercooked, and the waiter never mentioned they'd automatically come with mashed potatoes even though I selected a side, so that was a bit frustrating especially with my side being a baked potatoes. My son's steak was undercooked as well, and he had to send it back. My daughter's steak was also undercooked, but she prefers hers on the rare side, so she didn't mind. Amazingly good glory a chain. Our server Cameron was very attentive. The Blazing Berry Sangria was very good. Thenbaked potatoes were as soft as clouds. Not a bad experience overall! When my steak came out, it was rare inside and unevenly cooked. They ended up bringing me another one which was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes had that restaurant taste so I doubt that they were from fresh potatoes but I could be mistaken. The real star was the Brussels sprouts. They were so delicious! It was a pretty good experience overall. The medium well chop steak was very pink inside. The mushroom steak sauce, mashed potatoes, and seasoned fries were pretty salty but the water was free. I come here once in a while by myself for a ribeye because I just deserve it dangit haha. Today was no different and Longhorn delivered on their value promise to me as they always do. They know how to make a proper half cut tea (half sweet, half unsweet), and I would have liked more sear on the exterior of my steak today but it still ate very well with perfectly rendered fat and a hot, pink center with bold seasoning I like. Baked potato was perfectly done and well topped, and my Caesar salad was fresh, cold, and generous with parmesan and croutons. Today I added a dessert, which I don't normally do, but server Sandra talked me into it (in the good way) She really didn't but i need to add that to feel better about myself hehe. I had the strawberry shortcake and it was really good. It was also 9.29 which is pretty stiff for the portion size and as delicious as it was, I would not order it again unless splitting it with someone (and the bill). I went to this longhorn location on what I thought would be a joyous meal after leaving my best friends graduation. What we did not know was being racially profiled was a side dish this long horn steakhouse was serving. As we entered the obvious we were were the only African American (2 female 2 male) in the establishment ( red flag). Let me first address our server was MORE THAN COURTEOUS, however the food was subpar, as well as we were brought DIRTY dinner plates with our appetizer and bread. Nonetheless we finished the meal and it was time to pay. The scan to pay at our table was seemingly broken so the server moved my male friend to a place where he could pay. While trying to pay he was approached by LINH SHEARIN, manager, telling him that he could not use TAP TO PAY or enter his card manually as required on the site, which our server told us that he was just allowed to do for the next table. As he is now going back and fourth with Linh, she alerts her staff to CALLL THE POLICE !!!!! As she stalls and ask us for another form of payment. The cops are on the way for us "NOT PAYING THE TAB" in a climate where black men's lives are put at risk for less. This was beyond me !!! We hand him the cash and as he is simply waiting with cash in hand to close out the bill our over arrives and 3 of us begin to leave. We are getting in our uber and our greeted with a very aggressive officer first on scene demanding we get out of the uber we are not going anywhere he needs to see everyone's Id or we are all getting arrested!!!! MIND YOU THE REMAINING PERSON WAS STILL INSIDE THE RESTAURANT AWAITING TO PAY THE TAB MONEY STILL IN HAND! He now sees the police officer harassing us and comes outside to find out what's going on asking the cook why would he call the police in which he stated I ONLY DO WHAT MY MANAGER TELLS ME TO DO !!! AGAIN, THE CASH MONEY IS STILL IN HAND !! linh ran to the back of the store and did not come out for said payment until the police were already at the store!!! This is blatant discrimination and humiliation! If it were not for the second officer on scene who asked the correct questions as to why he still had the money in his hand. Why the restaurant was so jumpy which the response was we have had "people like them" run out on the tab according to the black cook. I came into this longhorn restaurant and was treated with a lovely smile from the host. I decided to sit at the bar and my waitress was very attentive. She came with my drink and bread quickly. I decided on the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken looked amazing and a nice crispy texture and the gravy was amazing. However the quality of chicken tasted a little different (idk what it was but i didn't care for it) and the broccoli and mashed potatoes were well cooked just needed a little salt/pepper. read more

I also have to say the service was just not good-and it was dead inside the restaurant. I had to repeat myself several times and while they got the food out fast-it just wasn't worth the money. I had a thrilling evening tonight at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Webster, TX off 45 freeway. As I sauntered into the western-style foyer, I was greeted by the countenance of a sizable white Longhorn mounted over the bar. I felt like an old gun-slinger as I sidled up to the bar and was greeted by the friendly Brandi. She made a perfect old-fashioned, with just the right blend of sweet and bitters, and the house Knob Creek is specially barreled for Longhorn, so I felt among a privileged few as I sipped my manly beverage. For a snack, Brandi suggested I try the Chicken Bites, which were seasoned perfectly in an Orange-Ginger sauce, with an ample ramiken of extra sauce on the side. My mind wandered as the Far-Away spices and the crisp breading delighted my palette. I will stop in again at Longhorn, and I suggest you do the same. read more

This has always been a go to place for good steaks at a reasonable price. Last night was anything but a good steak. I ordered the ribeye. This my usual order. The steak was so tough that I had to saw it with the steak knife. Small pieces took forever to chew and swallow. Totally inedible. I would have complained but it was a business dinner and I did not want to ruin everyone else's meal. I am so disappointed. I would have given it one star but the wait staff was very attentive. A great steak house. My wife and I order one order of steak and lobster and it is enough for both of us. My wife gets the lobster and I get the steak, we also share a dinner salad and share a baked potatoes. It saves money and both of us get full.
