Chef's tasting with pork belly, bacon-wrapped scallops, and coconut shrimp--everything was delicious.

We came on a food tour with Jax Tours. We started out strong at Morton's. We had a chef's tasting that included pork belly, bacon-wrapped scallops, and coconut shrimp--everything was delicious. The greens with dressing was also great too.

Went to Morton's to experience their bubbles and bites special. It includes 2 sliders of either chicken or beef, truffle fries, and a choice between champagne or a vodka martini for $30. I chose the beef and my friend chose chicken and we split it. The fries were ok. But they do give you A LOT. Now I tried the chicken slider, it was delicious. It had some kind of pickled veggie on the bottom, it was so good. My only take away is the chicken to bread ratio was off, so I did get more bread than chicken. Now the burger. It was really good, it had a grill taste as if it cooked on top of charcoal. It was amazing. The veggies were fresh and the patty to bread ratio was perfect. Now the service was ok at first started off rocky. But Justin took over and he saved the day. He was great. This was my first time sitting at the bar at Morton's and it was a nice vibe.

This was my first time visiting Morton's and the first steakhouse I've been to in a few months and I must say I really wasn't impressed at the all. It was typical steak houses prices but the food was not up to par. I had the filet and there was nothing special about it at all as far as flavor and the lobster tail was just ok. I had mash potatoes and Brussels for the sides and they were just ok as well. This location is attached to the Hyatt hotel so it's a busy area. The service was great but unfortunately it did not deliver on my expectations. Not sure of other steak houses in Jacksonville but I don't think I'd be going here again.

I stopped in for " power hour" which is Morton's version of an upscale happy hour. I was greeted by Justin our bartender that evening. I'm a regular here so I already knew what I wanted, which was a Margarita and a wagyu steak burger. Justin made my drink perfectly. I only need that one drink. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great as always. My wife ordered short rib tacos and mini crab cakes. The experience was pleasant and the ambiance was nice and welcoming.

Hubby took me to have a celebration for another milestone at my job and of course Morton's was my go to! The service was amazing per usual, food hit the spot and atmosphere A1! Cajun rib eye had the perfect amount of seasoning and cooked at the perfect temp. My steak was paired with non other than the lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster to noodle and cheese ratio was perfect and didn't disappoint. Morton's will always be my go to for steak! They never miss the mark!

The BEST thanksgiving I could've asked for! The turkey roulade is a much better (moister) version of the dry turkey we are used to on Thanksgiving. All the sides smacked as well. Don't skip the sweet potato casserole!! My server Erin was very friendly and attentive. The manager even took off the extra charge for the sweet potato casserole and chocolate cake due to a (reasonable!) wait for the main course. All in all a 11/10 experience. If you don't feel like cooking on turkey day you can't go wrong with dining at Morton's! I'm sure their regular menu is great as well.

The Bubbles & Bites special was the only reason why I went. My friend requested it for her birthday. The Wagyu sliders were excellent and the fries were sooo good. We did sit at the high top tables and the service was horrible! Our server disappeared and after getting all of the dishes picked up, we had to flag a manager down just to get the check! He did offer to get his dessert since it was her birthday but we left before even getting it! After 10 minutes and NO dessert, we left!

Morton's was connected to the hotel I was staying at so it was an easy dinner choice. The service was awesome. I sat at the bar and had a filet with crab and asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection. The had a good selection of wines by the glass.

We were staying at this hotel for a conference. When we walked in at 5:30, we explained that we had a session at 7, and if that would not be enough time, we could try another restaurant. We were assured we would have plenty of time. Our server came quickly, acknowledged that we had avv appointment and recommended the waygu dumplings. We had these. They came quickly and were very good. Highly recommend these. For dinner, we both ordered the filet mignon and lobster. Sides are served family style, and we chose au gratin potatoes and creamed corn. There were only a couple of other people in the place. It took a long time to get our food. At 6:20 we asked about our entrees. Stating we still had time to do something else if they could not meet our schedule. The food was out in about 2 minutes after that. The service was not super attentive after we ordered. This was only a problem because we were running out of time. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the lobster was great. The au gratin was my wife's idea, and I am not a huge fan, but it was the best choice for our plan. The creamed corn was exceptional. We flagged our server down to get a box and bill. The hostess seemed to think they were perfect getting us out with 8 minutes to spare. There are several other high-end steak houses in Jacksonville. This one was our least favorite. I wouldn't choose to go here again but wouldn't not go if someone planned it.

We had a dinner on this past weekend and they exceeded our expectations. I honestly didn't get all of the pictures but the food, service and ambiance were top tier.

This particular Morton's The Steakhouse is located on the Hyatt and I was here for a trade conference and we chose here for dinner. The place has an overall good ambiance and the service was attentive and professional. The steaks were good and overall, I would recommend here if you find yourself here for a trade conference or if you are just in the hotel generally.

I had to go to Jacksonville on a business trip, stayed at the Hyatt Regency. First night went to Morton's Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is very clean and nice. The food was amazing and the bartenders had excellent amazing customer service.

We've been here once before. We really liked it but it's been a while since then. We started with the Pao de Queijo, which is the cheesy bread you usually get at a Brazilian steakhouse. We both love this kind of bread and theirs was fantastic. I ordered the Pinanha Rustica and I am so happy that's what I settled on. I ordered the beef medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The Chimichurri sauce was good but honestly, the beef didn't need the help. The thing that surprised me the most was how much I loved the Biro-Biro Rice as a side. It was a really unique combo of things I've never had together before. I would probably go back and order an entree of just that if they offer it! My wife ordered the Costela Ao Molha Madeira Com Risotto de Parmesao. She really liked how the risotto was super cheesy. She said it actually reminded her of the cheesy bread. The beef short rib was very tender and juicy. She said it was a simple dish that added up to something special. We rarely order dessert but decided to split the Petit Gateau de Doce de Leite. It was so rich, dense and delicious. The pecan ice cream with it was great as well. It was small but enough for us to split. I'm bummed I forgot to get our servers name because he was fantastic. We really need to not go so long between visits because this visit was just as good as the last one. This review originally appeared in the Jacksonville Fun, Eats & Drinks Facebook group.

They were crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, and filled with flavorful meat. The sauces paired perfectly with them and made an already great appetizer even better. For my entrée, I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. The meats were the star of the plate. Everything was juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just enough without being overpowering. The steak was surprisingly tender despite being well done, with just the right amount of fat. The sausage had a great snap, the egg was perfectly jammy, and the chicharrón was absolutely incredible--crispy, crunchy, and easily one of the best I've had. I didn't try the sweet plantains since I'm not a fan and they couldn't be substituted. The arepa was good, although nothing particularly memorable. The only parts of the meal I wasn't impressed with were the rice, which was a bit too salty for my taste, and the beans, which lacked flavor and were underwhelming. For dessert, I tried both the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. The tiramisu was just okay--it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out, and I wouldn't order it again. The chocolate cake, however, was outstanding. It was incredibly moist, rich without being overly sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Salento does an amazing job with their meats, and that's what I'd recommend most. While a couple of the sides and one dessert didn't quite hit the mark for me, the empanadas, Bandeja Paisa, chicharrón, and chocolate cake were all excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The environment is pretty nice and quiet.

And you can get plenty full without it, so while it was pretty cheap, it wasn't necessarily worth it for us Tuna tartare - really good! The tuna tasted really fresh, and the chips were so light and crispy without feeling too oily. And I was a big fan of the mango coulis. Grilled Mediterranean octopus - I've never had such soft and tender octopus before! So so flavorful too. However because it was so soft, I thought it was kind of weird that everything that came with it was also like sauces and foams. I wish there was some kind of texture within the dish. Just would have been nice if they told us beforehand, we probably would have chosen something else instead. But ya super creamy and the artichoke and tomatoes gave it a nice brightness. The snapper was kind of tough but I also know snapper isn't the most tender fish. Black truffle bucatini - so good, the pasta was al dente and the truffle flavor was super strong Molten dulce de leche - the perfect amount of sweetness. I got here as they opened on Sunday, and it got packed relatively quickly. I'd recommend having a reservation if you're planning to visit during busier timeframes like this. I was seated promptly by attentive staff, and quickly had both food and drink menus to begin ordering. I was looking for something tasty without being too heavy, and settled on the Little Hans Vienna Lager along with the 8 oz steak burger and fries. The beer had amazing flavor similar to Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager with a good, crisp finish. The burger meal, described with "Tillamook cheddar cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beef fat aioli, grilled potato roll, truffle fries", was arguablely the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavor of the wood-fired grill certainly complemented the meat. The house-made pickles were a great touch to add another layer of complexity to the burger. I could tell the fries were fresh cut and never frozen. The truffle oil made these even more amazing. The manager offered and brought a special sauce to try that they normally serve with their chicken chicken sandwich that was superbly tasty and tangy. More than impressed with my entree, I elected to try a desert and was recommended the S'mores pie by my waitress. The deliciously buttery crust was my favorite part of the ensemble and blended well with the savory chocolate filling topped with a toasted marshmallow. While a bit pricey for lunch compared to most places, I was more than satisfied with the offerings provided here and would love to visit Ember and Iron again. It had been a few years since our last visit, and boy, did Chophouse 13 exceed our expectations! From the prompt greeting by the hostess and being seated quickly, to the great service from Franco, everything was perfectly timed. He never rushed us, which was especially appreciated as we caught up with our kids, whom we hadn't seen in a while. And the meal...WOW! It was outstanding. Oysters Rockefeller and deviled eggs to start, perfectly cooked steaks and scallops, and sides that were every bit as good as the steaks! And, of course, a great chocolate cake to cap off a fantastic dining experience. Even as we were leaving, the experience continued. The hostess was so gracious and happy to take a few pictures of our party. It was such a nice touch and another example of how welcoming and attentive the entire staff was. My wife and I both agreed that this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in several years!

She welcomed us, explained the happy hour specials, pointed out the customer favorites, reviewed the daily specials. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and never rushed us.
