Came here to have a burger and saw that they have 2 seperate balconies to watch the sunset, so we decided to eat here. Parking is limited. Its near Utah State University so most lots required a permit to park, and a younger crowd. We ordered a fudge sunday, an iconic burger and a Hawaiian burger. None of the burgers, at $6 plus came with sides so we ordered a side of onion rings. Took about 30 min for the order to come out. I think they had to goto the local farm to butcher the cow still... The burgers were good. Patty was thick and juicy unlike other burger chains. Onion rings were crisp and delicious. Theres limited outside seating on the first floor. Smaller tables on the second floor, but unfortunately the 3rd floor deck was closed. Scenery from the 2nd floor was nice. It overlooked the entire basin of the valley below which was gorgeous. Didn't anticipate the sun going down pass 9pm so we didn't get to see the complete sunset, but from the pictures im sure it was nice. Burgers were ok, forgettable. Price is on the higher side (its a college town in Utah....), and the food took forever. The view would be why I come back again. read more

Wait was long but that is understandable. I got the Iconic burger, fries, and the honey butter scone fries in a to-go order. When I got home I found out they forgot the fries which was disappointing. The scone fries were definitely the highlight. Burger wasn't anything special, lettuce was soggy and gross - it was better off the burger. Fine burger place but not worth the price. read more

It was busy when we went, and they forgot to give us one of our fries. I got the Turkey sandwich, which was some dry shredded turkey,, on a flat dry end piece of multigrain bread. It really wasn't very good bread,and the sandwich was put in a container upright in the bag so it was a mess and I had to try to put it back together. I asked for honey mustard, and didn't see that anywhere on the sandwich. Also the cheese was this hard chunk/glob that was thrown in there. I wasn't impressed with this sandwich at all, and I've got this in the past before, and it was actually good... but I guess their quality has gone down! read more

This place was casual and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered the kimchi burger, chicken tenders, iconic burger, and Glenn's sandwich. Went in for lunch today, it wasn't busy, there were maybe 4 other people in the restaurant. I ordered two meals (and made amendments to both of them, it seemed like we both understood the two orders) and two drinks. It took a lot longer than usual for our food to come out, and when it finally did, only one meal was ready. I asked where the other sandwich was and the gentleman behind the counter said he only rang us up for one. As we were in a rush, I didn't bother to order the second sandwich again. While we were waiting for our food, we heard the people that ordered before us go up to the counter and complain their order was wrong. The chipotle wrap was ok, but nothing too special. Great burgers and I like the different variety. Had regular and sweet potato fries. Both were good. Chased it all down with a milkshake, and if I remember correctly, believe it was a raspberry cheesecake (a couple times). All really good. Just 1-star off due to limited parking. We have a hard time finding good vegetarian options and we saw that they had several veggie items on are their menu. We stopped and were very happy with what we got. My dad and I ordered the Portabello and little Buddha. Both were amazing. The portabello burger had a sauce on it that was SO good and it was perfectly grilled. Only three stars because it's just a place to grab food, sit, and leave. No ambience as it's just off campus. I like the newly and well thought out building materials and industrial feel. But I like the food even more!! We all ordered something different and split the yam fries. Everything is a la carte and a little pricey. Food made with care and definitely unique and delicious. Tried this place out today and definitely loved it or the fries anyway!! They had great options on burgers and I like that you could exchange the beef patty for chicken if you wanted too. What lacked on the burger was the patty itself. It was significantly smaller than the bun. So my bread/patty ratio was waaayyyy off. Also the smothering of sauce was a little too much for my liking. Next time id ask for the sauce on the side. My dad order a chicken burger and felt the same way about the sauce. Besides that.. Loved the burgers! We had the Kimchi burger, Sunny Side burger, and the Iconic burger. The Kimchi is slightly salty, but with the Patty and buns it balances quite well. Iconic burger tastes quite good, like a traditional burger should. The surprise is the sunny side burger! The yolk was dripping off the patty and messy, but its gives the burger a eggy taint to the Angus patty. I like it. We like it. The scone fries is like fried dough, the dip is cinnamon butter. Someone off the best burgers in the area. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. I love the kimchi burger.

Got the kimchi burger out of curiosity. It's traditional Korean kimchi on a burger with carrot cabbage. I love kimchi but wasn't feeling this particular burger. Disappointed with the fries. They remind me of Burger King fries - crusty outside with oily aftertaste. I would recommend the sweet potato fries over the regular fries. Gonna come back and try another burger because it seems everyone loves this place. First visit didn't live up to all the hype. read more

My favorite place to grab a burger right next to campus! Great rooftop area to sit and eat, ​it's​ a great view to watch the Logan sunset! ​Parking isn't great but they have a small​ lot with sports. Anywhere at USU is awful to park. I love their fries and sauce. I always go on the deal days and get the iconic burger and fries. Otherwise​,​ it's​ a little too expensive for a college student. Placed an online order and was impressed that it was ready by the expected time--in the past (post-pandemic), they've usually been way behind on orders. However, when I got my order back to my desk I realized that they had left all the hot ingredients off my sandwich--it was veggies and mustard on bread that had been grilled long enough ago that it was cool and soggy, and no egg or bacon in what was ostensibly a breakfast sandwich. They have traditional American style, American with Fusion twist, Vegan/Veg/Healthy Salads with Quinoa and a choice of regular or sweet potato fries among options for sides. There is a good selection of hot and cold drinks. My favorites here are the Kimchi Burger-tangy, slight heat, very juicy delicious burger, Sweet Potato Fries, and the California sandwich. I just came to Morty's for the first time in years and was SO disappointed. I was in the middle of ordering, when the cashier asked me to wait. They answered the phone, took someone else's order for a few minutes. Then came back to me. I then waited for my food for 15 minutes and they had forgotten my order. Once they realized my order was missing, they started remaking it only to tell me I couldn't get the onion rings I ordered because they were out. If you go here get a burger they looked really legit. I got a quinoa salad and it was very average. Good but nothing to return for. Our sweet potato fries were a little over done. Lady who made our food answered the phone and used the register, adjusted her hair then back to making our food without changing her gloves. Maybe employees need a little more training. Morty's has always been a favorite stop while in Logan. The fries are thick and crispy and I've yet to find another restaurant with burgers as good as these. It's quite a small store and can easily get busy but the staff always handles it like a pro to get your food out to you quickly! read more

Been here a few times and it's always a mad house of confusion, and disorganization. The register is next to the condiments, that is in the same cubby with the drinks, and all that is where you also come to pick up your food. College kids aren't the most courteous of people, and their worse when they are waiting in line for the drink machine. The lines for the drinks and the register get mixed together, and people walk through the lines to get their drink regardless of any one else in line. Every time I've came here, my order was incomplete. Today I purchased an extra drink because we were one short, because some one snatched our cup while we were paying (didn't notice until we stepped out of line. Once you step out of line, might as well walk back and get back in line again). I suggest they move their drink machine into a more open area of their main floor area. More clearly mark where each line is to form up, give clear instructions for picking your meal up from the counter, and hand you a receipt, requested or not. The food is "okay" but for the price it should at least be "good". I got the Italian burger, and it was dry to say the least. Bread was dry, meat was overcooked, and the little tomatoe slice wasn't enough to comoinsate. My son got the Sunnyside burger, and it too was dry and over cooked. The fries are fabulous though. If you want to experience some college attitude from your fellow customers, or see the confusion of no social engineering, Morty's is a great looking place, but put on your patience panties cuz it's a zoo when it's busy. read more

One of the best burger joints in Logan! Burgers are fresh, juicy, and delicious and they have some of the best fries that I have ever eaten. Clean, friendly staff, and outdoor seating available when it's warm. One downfall is that there is limited parking, so if it is busy you may have to park farther away.
