Had breakfast here on Monday and it was absolutely delicious!!! They even gave us free coffee cake with our coffee and it tasted homemade not store bought! I had a basic two egg breakfast however it was cooked perfectly! My friend had chorizo and eggs with huge tortillas, she said it was really good as well. Service was wonderful as well. Driving down to San Diego I was craving breakfast and Mo's seems to be the spot in temecula. Glad I called in a table half an hour prior which left us with less than a 5 minute wait upon arrival beating out the crowds waiting out front and all over inside. This place is packed, bit service really on top of their game. Huge menu selection with lunch options as well but I was pretty set on corned beef has, eggs and home fries priced well at around $7 for the early bird special before 10 am. Those are much smaller portions than the rest of the menu so if you are hungry I suggest ordering off the regular menu. My son had the carrot cake pancakes, very dense and not very sweet, also barely any cream cheese frosting, these fell flat. My meal also not great, not one part of impound I get again. My husband had the steak , eggs and hash browns, fatty tough steak just not great quality and everything seriously lacking flavor. Good brunch spot with a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives vibe. My boy Wally F. introduced me to this spot via Facebook, and I tried it out two weekends ago with my GF. The dining room was busy but not full. We were sat immediately. I was on crutches at the time, so our server lead us to a longer both so that I could rest my leg. How thoughtful. She then placed my crutches behind the booth; out of the way of guests and other servers. How thoughtful. Apparently coffee cake is served for free here and it was good. It's a lot softer than what I'm used to but I liked it. My GF ordered some healthy omelet with spinach in it and I went with the Wiseguy omelet. The Wiseguy is basically an Italian omelet if you're familiar with diners in NJ. The only thing missing was a side of marinara sauce. I asked our server if marinara was available. To my disappointment, it wasn't. The mozzarella on the omelet was melted over the top. I'd prefer that it be folded into the omelet for that cheesy effect with each forkful. With it being at the top, it cooled quickly and the cheesy effect vanished. My GF's omelet was ok I guess. Personally, I think breakfast/brunch should be the least healthy meal of the day. My GF disagrees, but that's ok with me. I'm all about flavor town. Mo's is definitely a great brunch spot and should be put in your rotation. The pancakes where ... different . Not bad but also not my favorite . The chicken apple sausage was amazing and my eggs were cold so I didn't bother with them . My husband got the chicken and waffles . The waffles were probably the best waffles I've ever had but the chicken was fried too hard and not seasoned well . Took my mom to this restaurant for breakfast as it had excellent reviews. Upon arrival another customer was waiting to check out and was most accommodating in letting us get seated. Been here twice and I really want to love this place. The manager (wife I think) is superficially nice, but got defensive when I started asking if the hash was homemade, or if the chicken fried steak was pre-frozen. Yes, it's out of a can, and the former comes frozen in a box. I was told to do such things takes too much work, and they're too busy. The biscuits aren't frozen, but they're not scratch made, nor is the gravy from scratch. Coffee cake is nice, and the coffee is rather ho-hum. The place has potential and an hour watching diners, drive ins, and dives would show them why the little things can make such a big difference and impact on their business. And stop being so defensive, especially to polite questions. If the manager thinks customers are demanding and entitled it's because they're the ones paying. I'm not going to drive to a restaurant and pay money so I can be the one to wait on the staff. read more

A bit too loud and crowded to go on a weekend. I have gone as soon as they were open on a Monday morning and it was not at all crowded, so it was nice and quiet. The coffee cake is very nice, definitely kills the time until the food comes. The staff gets overwhelmed on crowded weekends when the place is packed (not their fault at all, if only they didn't have such good food...) On a Monday morning, they were super helpful and friendly and I probably had 8 different people ask if we wanted cake, coffee, more water, anything else, our order taken, etc. Best service ever. The banana pancakes with nuts and caramel were good, they cooked bananas into the pancakes and put some on top which is nice, that gives you the right to call that banana pancakes instead of just "pancakes that we threw some bananas on". We also had the Hawaiian crunch French toast which was okay. The mango butter tasted like butter and the French toast tasted like French toast with a crunchy deep-fried crust. It was good, but with a name like "Hawaiian", I expected it to have something tropical tasting but it didn't. So why the Four-star review, you ask? The Crab Cake Benedict! My mouth is watering just writing this! Two halves of an English muffin, two absolutely delicious crab cakes,two perfectly poached eggs topped with the most drool-inducing hollandaise sauce. All of which is to die for. Served with your choice of potatoes but when they tell you that they have these perfectly browned, diced potatoes, fried with peppers and onions, there really isn't a choice, is there? I'm honestly surprised that this place has such rave reviews. I went here with my husband and his parents and none of us were really impressed. I understand it was pretty busy, but our waitress walked by us several times without ever asking if we were ready to order. I actually had to practically yell to get her attention as she was walking away from us yet again. The food was mediocre at best. I really love good corned beef hash, unfortunately theirs tasted like something I could get out of a can at the grocery store, yuck. But the red velvet pancakes tasted pretty good. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich. He said it wasn't horrible, but definitely not great. He wouldn't order it again. To top it off, less than an hour after my meal, I got the worst stomach ache! friends recommended this place so we came here for some breakfast grub after a night of St Patrick's Day craziness. arrived around noon and the place was PACKED, but luckily the wait wasn't bad at all. this restaurant has breakfast galore! there was so much to choose from, i was stressing about what to order. i'm usually a picky eater and will go with a "safe" choice...you know, something i KNOW they can't really mess up or something i know i will like. but on this morning, i was feeling a little dare-devilish and went with the Monte Cristo with the O'brien potatoes ($9). my plate was so big, i was only able to finish half of it. while we were waiting, they even offer complimentary coffee cake! i thought it was pretty good but HE said it was so dry it absorbed every bit of saliva in his mouth *chuckle*. i ordered coffee with my meal while my dining partners had lattes which comes with free refills. they apparently bottle their own hot sauces, which i would not have known about if it wasnt for one of my dining friends who has been there. i tried the chipotle one with my potatoes and it was pretty darn delish. btw, you have to ask for the sauces, they dont have them sitting on the tables unfortunately. all the wait staff here are extremely friendly and patient, even with my decisive-butt who kept changing my mind about my order (first the coffee then the type of potatoes with my meal). read more

I am sooo disappointed! My husband and I were looking for a new great breakfast place. I'm a huge eggs Benedict fanatic and looked on Yelp for a good place to get eggs Benedict, Mo's came up #1, reviews were really good so we took the plunge. $35 dollars later and horrible horrible food. My eggs Benedict was pretty much not even edible. Hollandaise sauce was soo sour I was scared it had gone bad, my hash browns (which I asked for well done) were extremely mushy and not even seasoned with salt. My husband had the country fried steak and eggs with potatoes o'brien. Which he said tasted like nothing no seasoning nada. Now my husband is not picky, he will pretty much eat anything and even he didn't eat much of his breakfast. The pros: we asked to sit outside which bypassed the line.. And that's about it. Cons: Everything else, the waitress although nice was just very not with it. Spilled gravy into my purse as she was serving the food and didn't even try to help me clean or bring more napkins. Are food came out very fast which was slightly concerning, and for it coming out "too fast" as she put it, we received to tiny pieces of coffee cake which was so dry and gross we couldn't even eat it. To sum it up, I am beyond disappointed after seeing so many reviews that were amazing I was hoping we had found a new breakfast place but alas no. I would rather take my money to Denny's and at least know what I'm getting. read more

We ordered the following: Chicken and Waffles, Hawaiian Crunch French Toast, Seafood Omelette. Can I say everything was spectacular! Well, I did not try the Chicken or Waffles, but my dad said he really liked it and the Chicken was very good. But my omelette was amazing and my son's french toast was Hawaiian Bread covered in some sort of cereal and deep fried served with syrup and mango butter. Um heck ya! I tried it and it was a little sickeningly sweet, but soooooooo delicious. Will come again! Actually I did already come again. Got another omelette (chicken enchilada) and it was spendid. Oh and they gave my hubby a little discount for being prior military. How cool is that? Wasn't expecting that at all. Side note: Randi B did say the potatoes were super bland. I can only attribute the great reviews of this place to the fact that Temecula's dining options are very limited. If you aren't from the area, I'm sure you won't think so highly of this place. It is basically a redneck diner with tacky decorations on the inside that severely needs a good cleaning. We can here on a Sunday for brunch. Overall the service was average. It took over 20 minutes for a server to finally take our order. Many other employees though found enough time to stop by our table and offer us some coffee cake (4 times to be exact). Once our food arrived, our server never came back. We didn't receive any drink refills and had to flag a bus boy down to get our check. The sandwiches we ordered were very small, about the size of a kid's lunchbox meal. The coleslaw was bland and flavorless. If you're visiting from out of town, save yourself time and money. Went here based on Yelp reviews. A little disappointed. Nice clean restaurant, a little loud, but quaint and local. Ordered the Stuffed Strawberry French Toast and Seafood Omelet. Stuffed French Toast was soft, almost soggy, and only a few cut strawberries on top, not "stuffed" into the french toast. I like my french toast with a nice crispy crust, thick, and if it's advertised as "stuffed", it better be "stuffed." The Seafood Omelet was advertised as being "filled with lobster, crab, cheese, and spinach." Not sure about the lobster meat, but the crab meat was obviously imitation crab meat and NOT real crab. This was very deceptive. Gravy for the biscuits was also a little bland - had enough salt, but just not enough flavor. And our country fried potatoes were a little stale and cold. In my opinion, I've had better breakfasts inside and outside the Temecula area. Bottomline - nice to try, but no plans to go back right now. =( read more

I do have to say I've had the eggs Benedict and one of the omelettes that also came with hollandaise sauce. Mo's hollandaise is the real deal! I haven't tasted hollandaise like this since I used to make it at home with my mom (and we were picky). I can taste the lemon in it...just a hint...it's not easy to get it this way, and they are consistent - just the right creaminess! I would kiss the cook any day! The fruit is f-r-e-s-h, too! The service also comes with a smile. Such polite, friendly waiters are hard to find - great job! The coffee is great, too. It gets very crowded on weekends. We go during the week. Thumbs up to Mo's! I originally ordered the tropical french toast. The presentation was beautiful and the amount of fruit they put on it was excellent.
