Came here for the first time to try it out the food was ok I had a half chicken and half beef plate the beef was dry. Best all around lunch and most certainly teriyaki rice bowl in the county. They have two locations and they are both delicious. I used to live close to the one in Anaheim and frequent it regularly but I moved to orange and am closer to the Santa Ana location now. The bowls are the best and the egg rolls are on point to. So one random day it was all about the Mos #2 as it was close to where I had to spend some of the day waiting and waiting more! So first off it's the smell of that teriyaki goodness you that basically consumes the area around it as you can smell what's cooking ever soo strongly that when it gets to that point you know it's going to be good! This is another eatery that's inside what used to be a Bell as they have that style building and to my theory that all of these old Bell places are yummy this is no different as our food was quite scrumptious. They only offer a handful of choices basically chicken/beef teriyaki or some shrimp with gyoza or the always yummy egg rolls! Of the choices it was all about the combo #4 as it had teriyaki beef and chicken with a egg roll and a gyoza. The chicken was yummy even more so when mixed up with the beef and a bunch of teriyaki sauce to set it all good with the rice and side salad. The gyoza was also pretty yummy but it definitely didn't stand up to be as totally scrumptious as the egg roll was like they were just soo good all rolled up with that crisp you just can't go wrong with! The combos are the way to go with it as they have the mix of all they have here that's what's good so pick your choice and your in for a treat! Always a treat to swing by Mos. They have been here for years and I grew up eating this. This is before the waba's and the flame broilers. It's like that, but with a Mexican flair as their hot sauce is tapatio. I always enjoy a beef bowl with half chicken added (because gains) with green onions. I always enjoy the tender flavorful meats and the fluffy white rice. This is a go to for my family as well and everyone that I bring here always likes it. Will continue to come here as long as they are around and recommend anyone in the area to give them a try. I've been coming here since I was a kid. It's one of my favorite spots. Food always tastes the same. They are always friendly & always hook you up with sauces if you ask. I always get the No. 1 it's the chicken plate. Comes with salad an egg roll & a pot sticker. It's so good, the rice is bomb. I've literally gotten the same thing in all the years I've come here. Ask for skinless & they usually always make sure there's no chunks of fat. Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept card. It's really small in there too. Before covid I wouldn't mind sitting inside, but they do have a patio area in the front. The parking is compact too so just be aware. Overall love this place & will continue coming here. read more

I have never seen there meats this burnt but we did not enjoy our bowls even after adding more Teriyaki Sauce. The cashier was doing to much at one time. He didn't get the correct order for a customer they had to wait then he dropped one of our bowls on the floor had to wait for another to be made n spilled my horchata on the counter. What's the rush! It used to be good. But, the last several times I have been there, the chicken was no bueno, and was overcooked to the point that it was falling apart. Even the teriyaki sauce that probably comes premade was horrible. I have had better chicken teriyaki elsewhere. Even their hot sauce could not rescue their chicken. Hole in the wall place that has been in Santa Ana for years. You can't miss its lime green color painted exterior right next to the DMV. Parking can be a little tricky sometimes but find that parking, it's worth it. I've had pretty much all their combos and my favorite is still the original chicken bowl. They also don't have a breast meat option either. The service is always fast, quick, and friendly. Portion sizes are great. Only other set back, it's cash only. There is an atm that you can use if you forget to bring cash. Limited seating outside but it is available. This is a great place to stop by and pick up sole bowls for dinner for you or the family.
