Haven't been to Mos 2 in a very long time. Glad I stopped by, the prices are pretty decent and the portions are not bad at all. Unfortunately there are virtually little to no vegetarian options. Still the fflavors are great. I was surprised to see that they have 2 small restrooms behind the business. They look decently clean. It's a small place so it is a little divy. The staff are generally friendly but service is fast so be ready. The interiror is generally clean. I can see why it is still in business. Definitely will be back.

Wrong order and quarter filled sauce

Food is good but any of the other mos 2's is better. I ordered beef and got chicken and the sauce they give you at this one isn't even half full smh. This one is not worth going to.

The only reason I'm giving this location three stars it's because the only thing good on this plate was the rice. Everything else was dried dried meat dried chicken. They don't even add enough teriyaki sauce to the plate. Would I eat this again? Ain't no way ain't no way I don't recommend this place. Someone recommended me this place and I was very disappointed. The sad part is that the presentation looks amazing, but the taste was horrible.

Food: 8.5/10 Teriyaki beef and chicken combo plate- the plate came with a side of salad, egg roll, and a gyoza. The chicken was def the star of the show! Beef was a little chewy. Overall really delicious and cheap food for a quick bite. Service: 10/10 great customer service overall. Price: 6/10 $14.37 in total. A little pricey for the food quality.

This place is an absolute classic. Thank God they accept card payment finally. One plate is enough to share, if you finish you'll be very full all day.

Haven't eaten at MOS 2 in a long time. I am happy to report that it's still great and a great value. Meat is fresh and hot off the grill and the sauce is unique to mos. I believe they make it in house and it takes 2 days. Thick, savory sauce. Don't expect anything fancy here. It's an ancient Taco Bell order at the counter and the food arrives pretty fast. the Santa Ana one has a few seats indoors and a few outside.

this unassuming restaurant is known around here to have great teriyaki bowls, so i was so excited to try it. there is a small parking lot but its a pretty in and out place, so parking is not an issue. the food was good! the chicken had a delicious smokey char and the portion was generous. if i went again, i would prob get the bowl over the plate. the side salad was very watery/didnt have any dressing and the egg roll and gyoza was just okay. the plates come with plenty of teriyaki sauce which i appreciate !! i also really liked their hot sauce - it tasted like thicker tapatio. heads up - this place is CASH only!

This is a good chain known for their teriyaki bowls. I usually visit the Anaheim location but stopped by the Santa Ana location out of convenience. The flavor is there but I feel the portions are heartier at the other location or I may have received a medium bowl instead of the Large that I ordered. Regardless service is friendly and quick and it was delicious.

Service The service was quick, and very friendly. No complaints about the speed of the ordering as well. Food The food was fresh and hot. Ample amount of meat and rice. The dressing distribution for the salad was uneven but besides the really critical note about the salad, the food was really on point. Tip They only take cash. I went during lunch around 11:50am during a weekday and they got very busy around 12pm. If you are on a time crunch, prime eating times seem to have a slightly longer wait but the service is very fast. They only have one indoor seating spot with the rest being outdoors.

Food always hits the spot! They finally accept card so no need to worry about getting cash! Always quick with my orders.

This review pains me to write but I'll keep it as simple as I can: yes, inflation is up. Yes, we…read moreare collectively boned as a society. I can understand how business owners, managers, servers, and customers are all caught within the vicious fluctuations of markets and so on. However, what I was recently served at Kaizen Shabu last week was, to my mind, an egregious example of a restaurant offering well below the bare minimum of what should be expected for the prices listed (and my photos will show this, I believe). At the outset, I want to say I have no grievances with the servers. Our server was kind, attentive, and was elegantly multitasking. Bravo. Now, the food: we ordered the salmon "sashimi" plate, and what we were handed was a platter of the thinnest, grainiest, obviously-thawed and poorly sliced salmon I've ever eaten in my life. I was a bit shocked. At Cal Shabu Shabu (and other shabu places I tend to frequent more often), sashimi is... sashimi. It *looks* like sashimi because it IS sashimi: a piece of salmon purchased by the restaurant and knife-cut into appropriate portions depending on what portion size the customer has ordered. It is sashimi that gleans in the light, where the striations of fat and tissue are visible to the naked eye on the fish itself. As you can see from my photos, we were served paper-thin salmon that I could barely peel off of the plate with my chopsticks without ripping the fish into smaller, grainier pieces. It was all but inedible, in my opinion. This is not sashimi, and to serve such a thing for the price listed is beyond atrocious: it is an outright deception. Now, onto the side of veggies and noodles that come with every order of meat or fish. Perhaps the cooks could not be bothered, but what I received was broken tendrils of 2-inch udon haphazardly thrown into a bowl. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the chefs, with a dwindling supply of food nearer the end of the night, or if this restaurant truly does not care about the quality of what they are serving customers. Again, I think my pictures speak for themselves. I used to love coming here as the atmosphere was chic, and the servers are so kind. After my last dining experience, however, I cannot justify the price of my bill in the face of the quality of the food I am being served. I won't be returning, sadly. I hope the manager has an opportunity to look at these photos and perhaps reassess what can be done to improve what they are serving their customers.

The broth was very light and clean, and it wasn't too sweet. You can get the tempura on the side, which I recommend because it does get soggy in the broth. Would definitely get this again. Spicy Beef Udon: Not spicy at all, but it had a lot beef and lots of flavor. This is a good option if you're looking to try another udon dish from here. Inaka Soba: We wanted to try a dry noodle and soba, so we got it cold. You can choose between hot and cold. It was refreshing and looked very healthy, with lots of vegetables and good flavor.
