My wife got another drink that was apparently so good I forgot the name because I was too busy enjoying mine. The boba was fresh, chewy, and legit. The lady helping us was super friendly and welcoming too. They have a kiosk for you to order from as well. Not that many seating, but they have some spots outside you can sit at if you'd like. I was in this shopping plaza the other day and I decided to grab a boba to go. I will never pass up grabbing boba at a spot to have for that day or the next. I actually was at Wushiland in the UTC mall once. It was many years ago and I had to stand in line for a long time, I want to say I wasn't impressed or remember much about the drinks. I thought I'd give it another go. We used the KIOSK off to the left. I had a few questions and the staff was very friendly and responsive. I have never had QQube so we tried those, they were chewy and interesting. I have never seen these anywhere else. I got 3 drinks: 1. Oolong Milk tea with grass jelly 70% sweetness, no ice. They make their own grass jelly, which is always the best. 4/5 2. Oolong Milk tea with grass jelly 50% sweetness, no ice My niece got this and did not love it. 2/5 3. Grapefruit Green tea with grass jelly and coconut jelly. (no ice, least amt of sugar but still flavorful) My sister LOVED this drink. She said sooooooooo delicious! Wushiland Boba was one of the first boba places I remember genuinely liking when I was younger. My earliest memory of it was the location inside 99 Ranch Market, and it was one of the first times I had boba that didn't taste like those powdered taro slush drinks many people start with. That being said, I've always had a soft spot for this place, so I was happy to see they opened a standalone location in Linda Vista. We came in about an hour before closing. One thing I like about this location is that there's usually something going on, whether it's a fundraiser or a promotion for a new topping/drink. During our visit they were advertising a taro paste topping called QQube. I didn't try it this time but it looked like real taro, that purple-gray color instead of the bright artificial purple. There are two ordering kiosks on the left side and you can also order with the cashier. On the right side there are cushioned booths where people can wait for their drinks. The menu leans more classic, with lots of variations of traditional milk teas and fresh teas. One thing I appreciate about Wushiland is their topping pricing. You can pay for one topping portion and split it between two or three toppings instead of paying for each one separately. I ordered a green milk tea macchiato with boba and grass jelly, and my husband got the brown sugar organic milk, both at 75% sweetness. It was pretty busy even an hour before closing so we waited outside. Our drinks came out in about eight minutes. The quality was really good. Wushiland consistently has some of the best chewy boba and the grass jelly added a nice herbal flavor. The macchiato foam was creamy and balanced well with the tea. My only complaint is that their drinks run very sweet. Even at 75% sweetness it still felt sugary, so next time I would probably go with 50% or even 25%. Overall this location is really convenient. It's away from the parking chaos of the Convoy District and since there aren't many boba options in the immediate area, it's a reliable spot to grab a good drink. read more

Perfect little pick-me-up while walking around the mall! It was a pretty warm day and it was the perfect way to cool off. There's always a line, but we were lucky and the ability to order at a kiosk makes it even quicker. You really can't beat the value and flavor of Wushiland's drinks! Our favorites are the roasted oolong milk tea triple shots of tea with boba, and new Uji matcha latte in oat milk. The roasted oolong milk tea tastes so milky and being able to adjust triple shots for free makes the roasted tea flavor so pleasantly strong. When you get boba, they give sooo much boba and the drink size and topping amount is so much for what you pay compared to other boba tea shops. The new Uji matcha latte sub oat milk is so nice! Even my husband who doesn't like matcha likes it. Extra points that subbing oat milk is free. Parking is relatively easy and free in K Sandwich parking lot. This is a great location compared to their UTC branch because their service is fast, and they mean business. Unlike some boba shops they do have alternative milks available! They hit the usual points for most shops (customizable sweetness and ice levels) as well. There's a decent selection of dairy type drinks and fruit drinks. Every time I walk by I am always tempted to place and order and I finally did last weekend. UTC is my dogs favorite mall, so when I saw that the line for Wushiland was short I took my chance. I ended up ordering from the kiosk which was really simple, I opted for the Jasmine green milk tea 75% sweetness and mini pearl, I think my order was around $7 which is pretty average. After a little bit of time, my order was ready and it came out great, super smooth and the mini pearls were the perfect size, I think next time I would opt for a 50% in sweetness just because it was pretty sweet at 75%. Definitely coming back, especially when I saw the ovaltine on the menu, I want to check that out for sure. read more

I am a HUGE Wushiland fan. I'm pretty picky when it comes to tea, and Wushiland is amazing because not only do they have fun beverages, but their tea quality is also very high. My favorite drinks to get are the mango sorbet four seasons oolong (or black tea) and the roasted oolong milk tea. You can customize everything from the amount of sweetness and ice to the toppings you want. The employees are extremely kind and always willing to help, but if you prefer self ordering, there are two kiosks for that! They often run deals and promotions if you shop in person, but you can also order ahead on their app and accumulate points towards rewards. The shop is really cute with a small area to sit and wait for your order, but this is not a sit down style boba shop. read more

The travel box is very cheap and this location requires a one hour phone call in advance prior to pick up to get this completed. I've made many orders here: single one off orders and a holiday box order for my baby shower. All orders have been made carefully and accurately. The drinks are reliably made here. Plaza has plenty of parking however I do think there's a lot of traffic going in and out of this plaza which makes parking feel both right and a little dangerous. My usual routine is to go to k sandwiches for lunch and to wash down the banh mi with a Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Pearl (my fave) at 50% sugar. If I'm feeling "healthy" that day, I choose grass jelly instead. At my latest visit, I added coconut jelly to my drink instead and tbh I didn't hate the combo. The coconut jelly tasted more like aloe to me. I like their rewards here. They actually discount your drink. They're decently generous. This will be from June 2 until July 6. Their prices seem to be more affordable than other boba shops nearby. Their service is usually quick. And their drinks are quite enjoyable. What makes them different from other shops? Well, I like how their drinks are quite basic, and they're generous with the toppings. No need for all the extras and twists to a drink. The only thing I questioned was, at my last visit, their teas were sitting on the counter, uncovered. The door was opened, too. I love this place, it had my favorite drink topping ever, blended red bean! If you haven't tried red bean in your drink, it's a must! I personally am obsessed with red bean so I might be a little bit bias but you should give it a try. I also love their drink selection, everything is so good. I was on a journey to visit all 3 Wushiland Boba shops in San Diego in one night. This was our 2nd location. My daughters and I barely made it within 10 mins prior to closing time. I was so happy! This shop had opened for about 1 or 3 months at the time so they were fairly new. Ambiance was bright and clean. The owners were really nice and friendly. They were getting ready to close up shop when I arrived, but were still able to get my order completed. Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pearls. I was slightly bummed about it. I ended up getting grass jelly in place of it which worked out perfectly. I got our usual 3 drinks... 2 roasted oolong milk tea with grass jelly + brown sugar, 1 orange grapefruit with coconut jelly all with no ice... I don't like my drinks watered down later. I normally also get coconut jelly and ice cream with mine, but decided to opt out since it was so late. All the drinks were delicious as always. I love Wushiland! Best of success to you!! I usually go to the Wushiland Boba inside 99 Ranch, but this new Linda Vista/Clairemont location is even more convenient for my commute, so I find myself stopping by pretty often. My go-to is always the jasmine green milk tea with boba, and they never skimp on the boba--sometimes almost too generous with it. The quality is always solid, and their loyalty program is a nice perk, but I can't help but feel like the prices are creeping up way faster than inflation. Just a couple of years ago, I remember paying around ~$5, and now it's pushing $7.50 for the same drink. But I will say that the quality is always excellent. The tea is always fresh and the boba is always the perfect chewiness. The consistency of good tea/boba is something that I've found is not present at most places, but Wushiland is the exception to that rule. That being said, the staff are very friendly, and the space, while small, has a comfortable interior with some bench seating if you want to hang out for a bit. New boba spot near my sis and it's yummy. I got their roasted oolong milk tea with mini bobas. The tea isn't as strong as I'd like but overall it's a good drink. The last time I had mini bobas was at tapioca express so this is a great since not a lot of places offer minis and the texture is just perfect. Their regular ice amount is also perfect, many places fill up 3/4 of the cup with ice so not much drink to enjoy but this one is just right! I did 30% sweetness but will make it 50% next time. There are two kiosks available to place your order which was so convenient because the gal in front of me was still ordering when I got my drink. This place opened about a week ago (04/18/2024), but we are fans because we use to frequent the Clairemont Mesa location (inside Ranch 99). They serve a variety of teas and milk teas and you can modify the sugar, ice, and add toppings if you like. I like their Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and their Red Bean Milk Tea with light boba. The wifey likes their Green Tea. The place is pretty clean, it is brand new so I'd expect it to be. A nice feature they have at this location are the self service kiosks inside. I'm assuming it gets busy enough where they need them. There's no real seating... no where you can just sit and study, just some bench seating where you can wait for your order. Service has been good. The people they have taken our orders have been pleasant / friendly. It's a smart location in my opinion. Close to Kearny High School and Mesa College. Convenient for our family, because I drink coffee more often than tea, and the wifey only likes tea. Stopped by yesterday for the first day of grand opening. They're having a buy 2 get 1 free milk tea special happening.. what a steal! But even without the promo, prices are very reasonable compared to other boba shops. They only offer one size cups (large) which makes it easy because I never order a small/regular anyways HA. The ice amount and sweetness levels are customizable. Also, you can do half/half toppings without additional charge, which is so rare! Some of my favorites include the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and the Green Milk Tea (these drinks are also offered in the Brown Sugar series, which I often opt for). Their ice cream drinks are yummy as well. 50% (sometimes 75%) sweetness is my ideal amount. They definitely don't skimp on their toppings. The shop is cute, bright and clean. It's my first time here because a friend likes this place. They don't have much of a variety to choose from. They have a lot of yakult combo drinks. My absolute favorite smoothie boba drink is taro & coconut combo with crystal boba. Unfortunately, not too many places have that. A must whenever I'm in San Diego! They are the few that have great tea forward milk tea AND tiny boba. Always fast and super easy to order whether it be on the tablet or with the bobarista.
