I was underwhelmed by both the customer service and the food. As I waited in line, I noticed one employee who I need to give a positive shout out to-she appeared to be on break and got up before finishing her food to help customers bc the cashier appeared overwhelmed, so thank you to her for stepping up! The guy that cashed me out was ok but y'all lost one maybe two starts bc I witnessed one employee making smoothies with no mask on!! We ordered two with scrambled eggs and sujek (dried beef sausage) Service was leisurely but we woke up as we sipped our coffee and woke up, so no worries. Turkish breakfast was not on the menu so we had to ask. She tried to tell us that we only needed 1, but it got lost in the translation so we got two, but is is served family style, including olives( watch the pits) feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, honey, butter, apricot preserves and pita bread. We tried the two scramble eggs with sujuk, mosaic omelet and Turkish coffee. The sujuk was savory, with the eggs nicely supporting the green bell peppers and tomato. The mosaic omelet reminded me of American omelets. And the Turkish coffee -- this will wake you up! Overpriced food and not authentic. Having lived in NJ where Turkish restaurants are plentiful this place leaves allot to be desired. We ordered several items as well as the Turkish breakfast for 2- don't be deceived by the presentation, you only get one sliced tomato ,one sliced cucumbers , a small handful of olives as well as a few tablespoons of honey, preserves. Feta crumbles which tasted like Athenos American feta (only 2 tablespoons total.)A few shreds of string cheese ( only one string if added up) a few slices of another cheese and tea- that's it! They advertise walnuts but none were included. The bread was cold and stale All this would cost a few dollars if purchased at a grocery but they charge 50 dollars for 2 people. What shocked us was getting a bill for 4 Turkish breakfast for 90 dollars instead of 50 dollars for 2 even though only 2 shared it and only two Teacups were provided. It took discussions with staff and manager to fix it even though the 2 teens at the table had their own orders and did not touch it. Also would they give the same amount of food if 4 people shared as they would 2??? One of the teens got a chicken wrap and had to pick out the chicken because of the stale bread used to make the wrap. Also an employee in the kitchen blew her nose and proceeded to plate food without washing her hands. A second employee was spraying a cleaning product and wiping surfaces while food was in the area she was cleaning. There are much better places to have breakfast in Virginia Beach , save your time and money I do not recommend this place. Two stars for the decor. read more

You know what it is? 1 Tiny piece of Kefta in a tortilla. The Turkish tea is plain Lipton black tea. No mint , pine nuts, nothing. 3 bucks a person. Spend nearly $70 for 2 people service was ok, but the 3x markup in price, I recommend making it at home. Terrible service! We went for breakfast and ordered menemen and an omelet. The omelet lacked meat, and it was definitely not worth the price. We also ordered 2 lattes and they never came. We had to ask for them twice only to be told the machine was broken. We would not have found this out unless we asked...we ended up requesting water which was not brought to us until we finished our meal. To top it off the bathrooms were dirty and we saw a dead cockroach on walking towards the bathroom. Save yourself a headache and don't go here.
