We usually order breakfast on the weekend at work, since they are down the street. It's usually very fresh until today I physically went down myself. I order a juice which is usually really good. I just grabbed a cesar salad from the fridge and muffin. Total $17. The salad was horrible, most of the lettuce was brown I was trying my best to eat around it, which was nearly impossible, all the greens where brown and the chicken had no flavor. The muffin tasted as it was in the fridge for days. I little took a few bites and threw away. I was looking forward to the juice forgot the name but it has ginger, pineapple etc. It was drinkable but tastes as the pineapple was already rotting. Worst ever! read more

I eat at Moshers every now and then, mostly out of my own laziness since it's downstairs from our apartment. I really wanted to love this place because it's part of our community and I love supporting the 'mom and pop' places. The food is OKAY at best mingled in with WTF am I eating. Sadly, yesterday did me in and I'm throwing in the towel. Below are the issues, I've had with Mosher's during the last 13 months. (I know it's a long review and you may not want to read it all but at least read #4) 1). Once I ordered the beef hot dog to go. I got back to my apartment, opened the box and was shocked to find a wrinkled shriveled up hot dog with partly melted cheese. I could have got a better hot dog at a convenience store and it would have looked gourmet in comparison to what was in front me. I tossed it. 2). Several months ago, I ordered breakfast to go. I got eggs, sausage, fruit and asked for a side of hash browns. Instead of hash browns, I got a side of grayish mush! Disgusting! But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. I spoke with the older lady who worked behind the counter (who I haven't seen for a while) and asked if they make or if I could request hash browns, ones that are slightly crispy like I can get at most places. I explained I ordered this before and the issue I had. I was kind and courteous with my explanation. The woman delivered the food to the table with the side of hash browns and said, "Is this crispy enough for you," with an attitude. What I got again was a grayish side of mush.‍ 3). My husband and I went down there for dinner out of convenience since my foot was in a cast and ordered the slider special. When it was served, we both looked at each other like WTF! We were given three sliders. The meat looked like charred hamburger patty that was previously cooked then fried and cut in three, in between cut up hot dog buns. It was tasteless, dry and crunchy. Disgusting! Couldn't eat it. 4) Ordered the chicken fried steak to go yesterday, got home and took two bites. Something was off. I scraped off the gravy to discover I wasn't eating a breaded cutlet or breaded cubed steak, it was a hamburger patty that was breaded and fried. It was thick and dry! I know I shouldn't be shocked at this point. I went down there later and explained my disappointment to the young lady at the cash register and she gave a sympathetic look and said "Yeah, that's the way the owner makes them and I don't want to say anything to him about his food". WHAT!?! So I told her, no problem, I'll just place my dissatisfaction on Yelp. She said, "That's the best because he reads the reviews". On a positive note, I have not been disappointed by the turkey sandwich and the French Toast is good. To Guy, (The owner) Fooling your customers into thinking what they're eating is what they ordered or listed on the menu is shameful! The quality of the food is seriously lacking! I also think it's absurd to have to pay an additional $3.25 if I want french fries with a burger because the only sides you can choose is macaroni salad, potato salad or coleslaw, seriously! French fries and burgers go together like ketchup and mustard, rice and beans but yet you charge people extra for the things you know people would want together like a sandwich and chips, gotta pay extra for chips. I'm surprised you don't charge for ice! Also, the fruit cart for the juices look gross. I think the concept was nice but it wasn't executed properly. The fruit looks old and nasty. The front door is kept open most days because it's hot but flies are coming in buzzing about the fruit. It's unsanitary and unappetizing. I love a good juice, especially when it's fresh but I won't order it from here. I truly didn't want to write a bad review because despite all the horrible food I've had here and couldn't eat, I've still been hoping you guys could get your act together, hoping maybe it was a bad cook you hired. I wanted this place to be awesome because of it's location and convenience but I'm afraid I've now given up all hope. But at least most of your staff are nice. Although the cashier was nice, I was highly disappointed with the response I received last night. I know my review is harsh but it's what I've experienced and I truly wish you guys can make some substantial improvements. Until then, I'd rather walk a few minutes and go somewhere else than to be continually disappointed. read more

I go to Mosher's twice per month-it's within walking distance to my law office. I would go there every day, but I realize deli food should not be eaten every day! I love their deli sandwiches-the Metropolitan and Italian are my faves. And I admit an addiction to their macaroni salad.(Watch out for jalapenos-they seem to appear on every sandwich so I ask to hold them.) I'm slowly working my way through the menu-only disappointment was the carne asada sandwich-a bit dry. But the luscious clam chowder made fresh daily made up for it. What bothers me is when someone who orders after me and gets their food before me.. and it wasn't just a lil snack like a cookie or something, that's understandable, it was a full meal.. I won't be going back to Mosher's again. They are close to my office but I'd rather get in my car, drive somewhere and pay parking. Unfortunately, for them, this has little to nothing to do with their food and everything to do with staff and service. I also wouldn't be writing this review if this was my first time. I went--the experience was not good. Gave them a second try and they were no better. As we're a 3 strikes state I figured I could as least give them the same benefit we give to criminals. This was my third and last trip today. The menu board says the pastrami sandwich comes with coleslaw, potato salad or ANOTHER OF THEIR SIDES. Okay, simple enough. One pastrami sandwich--no pickles please--with chips as a side and a fountain drink. The guy repeats my order. From there the exchange goes like this: Guy: "That's $14.71 and what do you want as your side?" Me: " I asked for chips." Guy: " I charged you for chips." Me: " I wanted them as my side." Guy: "Ok." But then he charges my card for them anyway. Me: "Why did you charge if they are the side?" Guy: "You wanted chips. They don't come as a side." Me: "Why does the menu board offer them as an option?" Guy shrugs and goes about his business, we move on and I wait for my food. I get a sandwich, no side and no chips. I ask the poor server guy has to resolve it. I usually don't write reviews and I almost feel bad for writing this one--after all, they are chips. But the underlying issue is the service, or lack thereof. No effort to treat the customer special or even reasonably nice. As I was the only customer standing there it couldn't have been stress from a massive lunch rush. I love this restaurant! This is the 2nd time my family and I have dined here and both times the food was exceptional. I ordered a bacon & cheddar omelette and a side of rice. It also came with a side of toast. My husband ordered "the bomb" and he said he really enjoyed it. Overall, our experience there was very satisfying. Ordered through Yelp today and I was under the impression that the restaurant was going to give me a call when my food was ready for pick up. Online it told me it was going to be between 40- 60 mins which I thought was pretty long so after 30 mins I called the restaurant and the guy told me my food has been ready for the past 10 mins so it's just been sitting out and was cold by the time I got it. I ordered the bacon wrapped hotdog, a tuna melt sandwich, and the mango banana orange smoothie. The hotdog was pretty good, the tuna melt I wasn't a fan of, and the smoothie was a little chalky. I've tried this place in the past and have had some pretty good experiences with the food. I think today was maybe just an off day but I wouldn't order the tuna melt again and would possibly order something else in the future. read more

I've been going to Mosher's since they opened in Bixby. I've always loved their food, but their prices are high. I would not go there for anything else but their sandwiches. I've tried their breakfasts and frankly, I would go somewhere else for that. All of their specialty sandwiches are great and you can't beat their pastrami! ...potato salad is amazing too. This place has a great selection with healthy offerings and the prices are fantastic. There is a nice little beer selection as well. Fresh fruits and veggies, great salads. I don't get the low rating. I am glad I didn't let that keep me away. I was staying down the street at the Hilton and feeling under the weather. What I needed was a nice bowl of matzo ball soup. I called it in and when I went to pick it up, I was expecting the place to be a dump (judging by the Yelp reviews). What I found was a cute, clean little place in an office complex. Lots of tables and booths and the guys working there were polite and professional. The soup was good, I dare say better than Canter's. The matzo ball is obviously homemade, light as a feather. They have a create your own juice bar, which I went back for the next morning. Cucumber, apple, orange. Again, clean, polite, professional. And there is no other deli within miles, so they are really doing a public service by being here. read more

Mosher's is overpriced considering the taste and quality of the food. I had an experience here that bothered me so much, it was the whole reason I signed up at Yelp (on the upside, this site is GREAT ... so glad I did). I would HIGHLY recommend against going here. Went into this location Grand Prix weekend a little after the regular opening time and they hadn't opened yet. Fifteen minutes later we returned to place our orders, which we had to repeat twice to the incompetent cashier. The person we assume is the owner came in with several people and took their orders after we had placed ours, and served them personally immediately after, before we even received our order. We were the only other customers and it took what seemed like an eternity to receive our order, which we discovered when we got home was missing an item. We went back to Mosher's and spoke with the owner who offered no apologies for the mistake and rather looked at us as if we were trying to pull a fast one on him ... then proceeded to scold the cashier in front of us. HORRIBLE customer service by not only the cashier, who has been extremely inappropriate on other occassions (serious dumb ass) and by who I assume is the owner himself (bleeping a@#hole with no business sense whatsoever). After food customer service is supposed to be next in importance. Isn't that what keeps customers coming back? Unless you want poor service (if you're a female, to be harassed) and mediocre food, do not go here. read more

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! I placed an order online and they weren't able to deliver my food because they didn't have the staffing, despite their website offering delivery anytime. When they call me to tell me they can't deliver or refund my money only the manager can. After talking to the manager he said it would be taken care of the next day. It wasn't. I called back an was told it was my fault they don't deliver past 2:00pm and I should have called to check if they were still delivering. It took over two weeks get get my refund. read more

I will not order delivery from this location again. I called at 11:45 to place an order for lunch. They told me it would be delivered in 15 minutes (only a couple blocks away). 45 minutes later, I called to check the status of my order and was told "it's lunch time" "it's busy". I was in town for a convention when I saw Mosher's served breakfast. I parked in the back so I entered through their back door what should have been my reason not to go in. The glass door was filthy and almost adhesive by touch. Saw a lot of clutter in rear of the restaurant well, not corporate I get it. I ordered my corn beef and hash breakfast at the counter to what I would saw was not a very hospitable young lady. Sat down waited for my food and waited then a customer comes in orders a sandwich and was served before me. OK, little PO but kept my cool I was doing some work on my laptop. Food arrived I requested water, sure no problem. I guess it was a problem because ten minutes later I had to walk in to the kitchen an ask her again. Ate half way through my corn beef and hash when I was tasting something fowl, I really can't put into words but I had to stop eating. Oh by the way I paid first and gave her a three dollar tip. This was Friday the 14th. By Saturday night and Sunday all the way till Monday morning I have had diarrhea, stomach cramps and nausea.
