5/5 restaurant to go to before a giants game ! So welcoming and attentive. The sushi and drinks were amazing. Which is saying something because I do not eat sushi often. The staff were phenomenal even offering to take photos for our table which I really admire in an establishment. Savoring the memories along with savoring amazing food! Would love to go again.

Came here on a Friday night to get sushi with a friend before going out! I had been here once before with friends, and it's safe to say that this is a good place to go if you're craving fresh, unique sushi and/or drinks! The servers were also great, providing us with recommendations and water as well as warning about the size of the Rainbow Spider roll we got (spoiler: it was quite large). The ambiance is nice and cozy! I like the various decor around the restaurant as well as in the bathroom! Definitely a unique pksce! My friend and I got the Rainbow Spider and salmon avocado rolls ; in addition, we also each got a miso soup (8 oz). I also got the hibiscus ginger margarita and my friend got the chilled vodka martini. The rolls were absolutely delicious, and I love how the rainbow spider is a slightly bigger roll in size to fit the soft shell crab side! The fish was so so so fresh and tasty as well! The miso soup was definitely on the saltier side, but still good nonetheless! The drinks are also pretty strong, but have great taste as well! Overall, I will definitely continue to come back for my sushi fix!

I got the fire lizard roll and I thought it was really good. I thought that the spicy tuna was made really well and I thought that it paired really well with the fillings of the sushi roll. I also really like the Wakame salad on top, and I thought it was kind of nice to eat it with the sushi and also separately from the sushi. The service was quick and our server was attentive as well. Overall, I mean, very good standard sushi restaurant, would go again of course.

I went here with a group of around 10 people and we had plenty of space and a great time. I loved the ambiance inside of Moshi Moshi! The staff were very attentive. I had a roll and a drink along with several appetizers, and really enjoyed my non alcoholic cocktail. Definitely recommend a visit.

Really good manhattan and when it's served by James. We had spider rainbow , unagi, spicy tuna rolls. Great vibes, service and good food. Very inclusive atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. More and more we need to support mom and shop, this is one of them.

Moshi Moshi SF is a really good spot! The spicy salmon maki was sooo good -- fresh and flavorful, easily the highlight of the night. The squash tempura was also delicious, light, and crispy without feeling heavy. I do wish the rolls overall were a bit better. We tried the Carmel roll with shrimp tempura, and it didn't really impress me compared to the other dishes. Still, the atmosphere is fun, the service is solid, and there are definitely some gems on the menu. A strong 4 stars from me, and I'd come back again for that spicy salmon and tempura!

When it comes to sushi in San Francisco, nobody does it quite like Moshi Moshi, where they serve both traditional favorites and cool modern creations. The fish is so fresh and the rice so fluffy, sticky, and perfect. They also have some great teriyaki bowls, tonkatsu, and udon! Moshi Moshi has some of the friendliest waiters. They are kind, patient, knowledgable of the menu, and willing to accommodate many special requests. The ambiance is great. It's a nice, quiet restaurant where people like to gather. Everything moves at a slow, relaxing pace. It's decorated nicely and the background music is quiet and calm.

Service was fast and good. Ambiance was good. Loved the hot chicken stock given for palate cleansing ! But the food itself was sub par. Not sure what the big fuss is about . Had the lunch special - tempura bowl had exactly 1 batter fried shrimp and few chunky batter fried vegetables. Bland rice . Couldn't finish . The teriyaki salmon was much better. Had to order additional sushi to fill up after lunch specials.

we spent our last meal of 2025 here! it was a rainy night but moshi moshi was so cozy and welcoming inside. the service was great! our server had fantastic recommendations and she really added to the vibe. we got the spider rainbow roll, miso soup, cucumber salad, shishito peppers, sake bomb sushi, salmon kama and a hand roll. everything was delicious! my one critique was that the timing of bringing out the food could have been better. the seemed to bring one thing out at a time. i do understand it was NYE, but it wasn't packed.

One of my go-to spots for Japanese food in SF!! Like this is where I eat dinner after I've had a bad day LOL They have REALLY good bacon-wrapped mochi!! I'd also always get one of their sushi "bombs" and some kind of tempura. The flavor combos are really unique compared to other Japanese spots in the bay. Plus I love the atmosphere here and our servers have always been really sweet!!

The food here was okay but not too spectacular. Though they serve Japanese food, there feels like a lot of American influence and so I don't think it's very authentic. The karaage was probably the best dish as it was very crispy and went well with the sauce. The Alaska Nights roll was alright as the fish wasn't the freshest.

    Tokyo Kara-age

We stopped by at this cozy Japanese eatery for dinner on a Saturday night with no reservation. The restaurant is fairly small and was pretty packed but we were able to get seated within 5 minutes. We decided on the Tokyo Karaage, Chicken Katsu Dinner, and the Akasaka nights sushi roll to share. The karaage was reminiscent of a McDonald's chicken nugget more so than traditional karaage, but was still delicious nonetheless. I also quite liked the ginger-soy sauce. The Akasaka nights roll is one of their signature items and was pretty solid overall. The fillings went well together and the fish was decently fresh but not particularly high quality. The chicken katsu dinner took longer to come out and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The chicken was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor on its own, so I had to drench it in the sauce. The accompanying miso soup and salad were good though. The karaage was definitely the superior chicken dish of the two, and would recommend opting for the dinner version of that instead. Pretty decent spot to grab a meal if you happen to be in area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

There are two rooms, one in the front with a puzzle theme, and another in the back with a Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) vibe. Staff was friendly and took time to explain the clever menu to us!

Lore's Wonderland escape room was a fun and delightfully whimsical experience. **This review is…read moremainly for the escape room, as we did not order any additional drinks outside of the escape room.** THE SPACE // Lore Speakeasy and Escape Room has cool themed decor everywhere, from the dimly-lit speakeasy/bar room in front, to the Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings-themed board game room, to the individual bathrooms, and of course the escape room's multiple Alice in Wonderland-themed rooms. Clearly a lot of effort went into building these rooms and evoking a certain vibe for each. THE ESCAPE ROOM // The puzzles in the escape room varied in difficulty - some required us to think a bit more, some required our observational skills to work harder, and others required a light level of physical skill/movement. We were perplexed a few times but never got stuck for too long, as the White Rabbit (played by Phoenix, the live actor/puzzle master) would jump in occasionally to provide clues over the speaker or in person. It took us about 1 hr 20 min to finish the entire escape room; I thought the pacing was good. THE [ESCAPE ROOM] DRINKS // Lore's escape room experience comes with "a flight of themed cocktails or mocktails, including "potion"-style drinks that are integrated into the experience as you progress", per the website. We got to choose one cocktail/mocktail option (Korean Cold Noodles) from a list on the website, and the other two drinks are pre-selected to supposedly fit into the Wonderland theme, with the flavors described online as "berry" and "peach". You can get both cocktail and mocktails for your party, in case some people want alcohol and others don't. We all enjoyed the flavor of the Korean Cold Noodles cocktail, which was refreshing and surprisingly a bit minty in the mocktail version. However, we didn't like the two other two pre-selected themed drinks as much. The "berry" drink gave us cherry cough syrup vibes, and the cocktail version of it was quite strong. The "peach" mocktail drink reminded me of canned fruit syrup; we also were missing the two cocktail versions, though we decided not to ask for them as the mocktail version already was less than impressive. One other missed expectation here was the size of the drinks that we received in the escape room. We were expecting full-sized cocktails, like what they serve in the speakeasy in front. Instead, we found out that the drinks are served in small "vials". Given the size of the drinks in the escape room, combined with us not even enjoying two out of the three drinks, I would preferred to go through the escape room without the drinks at all, and likely pay a bit less for the escape room then. OVERALL // I'd still recommend the escape room as a good one-time experience with a date/friends/family. Just don't expect too much from the included themed drinks! The speakeasy drinks on the main menu do sound unique/tasty, so I might come back again to try those sometime.

The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good!
