First, I got the bait and switch from the salesperson and sales manager after telling them I drove over an hour, wanted to buy a car not play games. I would have walked out had I not driven so far to get there. Already frustrated, I finalized my deal, went to leave, and they put a quarter tank of gas in my $50K car. Talk about cheap...They knew I had a long drive, but I just filled the tank myself - vowing never to return. And then...I bought the car on February 6th it took them 24 days to payoff my trade causing a auto payment from my account. This place is a joke. I took my truck in for its oils change and did not mind checking my vehicle since I was in a rush. Once i arrived home, I reacted and decided to check my truck, well it turns out it had the largest verticals scratch in the hood and to add to that it seems they might of opened another car door and hit my car since there was a dent on the passenger side.So I call right away , and they just kept going in circles how they were going to notify their manager and until this day Moss Brothers manager has not have the decency to call back after I have left so many messages prior to the first call. read more

I seen a car posted on Car Guru, so I called the dealership to see if the vehicle was available and if it was the price listed, ( had a horrible experience last week with Premier auto sales in Buena Park) the sales guy Ben assured us it was. We go on a test drive, then talk numbers, off the bat, he starts talking about a different price then what was advertised. He goes on and on about upgrades already on the car. Mind you, its a used car, so we made an offer! He begans to go back and forth to talk to his manager. After waiting over an hour we decide to leave them so they could continue their talks, we ask them to call once they decide if they will accept our offer. After a few hours, still no call, so I began to call them. After three attempts someone finally calls back, Ben says we are too far apart, then he quotes the lowest price he can go. We say thanks, but no thanks. However, after an hour or so, I decided I really wanted the car, and I'm tired of looking, so I call back and let him know I'll take the deal, and I'm on my way. He says great. I get back up there and he is no where to be found, some older gentleman says he will help but starts back at the beginning numbers, I said whoooo we already have a deal. He comes back with , IDK , there be some miscommunication because I have to pay an extra $2500 for a package that on the car and thats non negotiable. All the while, the manager is hiding in his cubicle, I can clearly see him in the glass, he knows the whole story but instead of coming out and taking care of his potential customer, he sent the older gentleman out there. We dropped off our SUV at 9:00am on July 11th, 2022 and we had an appointment for brakes. We were told it would have been done no later than that afternoon. We called yesterday afternoon and were told someone else was having to look at it -- a specialist. Then we call today - July 12th at 12:30pm when they tell us that no one has even looked at the car and the specialist is now "at lunch" and it probably will not be completed today. We are picking up the car now and taking it to another shop. Tom (young man with glasses) specifically was unhelpful and dishonest about the timeframe needed to diagnose and repair the brakes. We will never be returning for services. Also, we will never recommend this dealership for their services. They really need to do better! If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

Worst customer service ever. I give up on this place. I live in beaumont ca. So I go here over diamond hills . I have brought probably 4 cars from here and only 1 of them was a good experience. I always buy the bumper to bumper extended warranty. So that's why I'm writing this review. I took my car in and it took them 2 weeks to give me an answer if my issue was covered (DVD player broken) obviously a bumper to bumper extended warranty this should be covered. And they had my car in there for a week and I call Every day and they were saying they are waiting to hear back from the warranty. Makes no sense. I'm sure I will get a message from the GM how they can help, but I am not interested. I will just take my business else where moving forward. This GMC dealer service department is horrible. I made an appointment to have gmc serviced and dropped my truck off on 11/22 for a faulty transmission and some recalls. The techs said everything should be taken care of by 11/24 and they did not keep their word! When I had to follow up with them to check the status of my truck (instead of them calling me) they told me they had not gotten around to checking it out. Keep in mind I've been without a vehicle for 2 days. They said they will not get around to check it out until Monday! What is the point of making an appointment? After they found out the problem they said it would take 2 days for it to get taken care off. I didn't get my truck back until 4 days later! I was without a vehicle for a 8 days and didn't get any cooperation from moss. These guys are terrible do not take your vehicle here! read more

Ive been in the market to purchase a new vehicle for about a week and half. I came across a 2019 Mercedes Benz RWD for what seem to be a pretty good price. I went got financed from my credit union (Which means I have a check in hand). And decided to shop around. I came across the vehicle on car guru. I gave them a call ( spoke with Lowe) tried to work out a deal. We just couldn't come to a happy medium).I receive a phone call from Brian days later. I tell him how much I want this vehicle and wanted to see what deal can be worked out. I live in Los Angeles, CA. Which is at least a hour and 30 minutes away. I talked to him through out the day. Asking several questions in regards to this vehicle. I was very very specific and stated how I HAD to have ambient lighting along Navi. Brian tells me Yes, it has it. Perfect, Im on my way. Took an Uber ($115) one way. I get there inspect the vehicle, Low gas (to which he stated he filled up, ran it through the car wash ( water droplets everywhere) trash/pills in the vehicle, cup holder broken, no navi (I would have had to purchase the SD card myself from Mercedes Benz, with my own money, along with finding the time to do so). Very very limited warranties, But I would have been forced to purchase an additional warranties that I clearly didn't want. Which of course drove the price up.And of course no ambient lighting. Him and who he claimed to be a expert weren't aware that the RWD didn't have the lighting. Something that I asked and expressed how important it was for me before taking a Uber all the way to Moreno Valley. As were sitting in his office were going over numbers. I expressed how I didn't want the packages they insisted on adding. He begins to tell me how the crime rate is high even in really good neighborhoods. I expressed that a tracker on the vehicle was not needed and I didn't want to pay for it. Still he insisted it was needed. As he is speaking he believes I'm going to interrupt him and says excuse me I'm speaking. Ummm, rude. But Ok! As I'm trying to speak, Im telling him how disappointed I am having to take a Uber there and the car was nothing of what I wanted. He interrupts me several times. At this point Im calling an Uber and unfortunately spending another $100 plus just to get back home with no vehicle. According to Brian I can go on amazon and purchase the lighting that I wanted and go to Mercedes to purchase an SD card for my navigation. They said I need new push button shifter and they will order. 3 months later I have not heard back. Called again today because my remote needs new batteries. I just wanted to go in to look at the car I saw online and they tried to sell me on another that got sold before I finished the paper work and then sold me on the original car I wanted to look at just for them to tax me for a car that has a dent on the fender a loose bumper and not even a whole 7 days later the car gives me problems and $350 later we replace the ignition coil and spark plugs for the 1st cylinder, I was on my way to the beach so I was an hour away from home with no tools, and just to find out I might have a blown head gasket because that still didn't fix the problem and it kept showing the same code. Good thing I'm paying for warranty I want this fixed and to be reimbursed for the parts I had to buy. I want to give Moss Brothers zero stars. I brought my Buick in on October 20, 2020 to fix the air conditioner. I was told by the service advisor that although the A/C was still under warranty, until December 2020. However, they could not fix it because they did not have the A/C switch. I said fine call me when they get the switch. Moss Brothers never contacted me for almost two months! On December 8th 2020 I called Moss Brothers, I never got to speak to a service advisor, all I they did was forward men to a voice machine that said leave a message and some one would get back to me. No one called me back for two days. After two days, I called back and got a hold of the service advisor. what he said was that Buick no longer mace the switch and Moss can not fix my A/C. So, now a have a car with no A/C which was supposed to covered by a warranty I paid for. But now Moss says they won't fix it and the warranty has run out. During the whole time, Moss Brothers never once called or otherwise contacted me. Bottom line is Moss Brothers sold me a warranty on my car , did not fix the A/C when it broke, and completely ignored me until the warranty expired. Bought a used truck from here on 5/27/2017. After about 4 days the sales manager called said the bank won't take an OUT of state driver's license. We were like ok? He said let me call you back. Do he calls back and say ok found a bank but the interest is higher. We said no. Then he says oh well we'll discount the truck more to make the payments the same. We said no. So he says let me call you back.do he calls back about 6 days later saying he has a bank and that all we need to do is go in and resign the contract. So my husband gets there and it's the same thing higher interest but now they will lower the price of the truck and give us $3000 more for our trade, making our payment less but paying more overall. So I told my husband to not sign and to tell them no your not agreeing to that. I called The sales manager and told him how he didn't send us a letter to notify us of resented contract. And he says what are YOU A LAWYER NOW!? I said no but I still know my rights! And it's none of your business what my profession is. So we went to our bank got a loan. Talked to the GM HE was rude and unprofessional. He basically stated we were to either sign to new terms or bring the car back. We went to take the truck back and said we'll buy it during our bank. They said no the GM blocked us from buying and car from there and they were told to destroy all our paperwork. They will run Your credit through as many banks they can just to get you financed. We've received about 30 letters from all sorts of banks all over the US and are still receiving letters. Don't buy from here save yourself the hassle. Also few days later after we turned in the truck we got a call from them saying they received notice we got a loan from our bank and that they're happy to help us with or car buying needs. Told the sales person that we are looking for a car 15,000 and below small suv like an equanox. And was shown a Ford Escape. Very cute car ran well. Was in mind in buying it. Then the guy ran the numbers and was told by thec"Manager" that he only qualifies for a 12000 car. When yesterday we just got approved for 15000. Well the "Manager" said that he can see what car my dad can qualify for and it was for 12000 and below. He comes and shows us a Nissan Sentra. With 3000 down and payments of $361 for a 2015 Nissan Sentra. . And the end of all we decided not to go for it because it was not my dads first choice and the "manager" kept pushing us to buy that car. Once we were on a firm No Thank you. He turned around and said what if he gives us the Ford Escape for the same amount? And only $2000? So at this point I was mad because at first he didn't want to sell me that ford because the payments would have been $450 not $361 and now that we were ready to walk out the door he changed his mind and said he was able to? How do? Well you know why? He's the OWNER! As long as he sells a car he was willing to sell my dad the car he first wanted after him pushing us another car because suposably his credit didn't qualify him for it and now it does? I will never use your service department again. This is the second time they have tried to up charge me for service after 1st telling me I did not receive free oil changes. Then he threatened me that if I did not follow the suggested recommendations that I would be in violation of losing my free oil changes. I paid $30 for a tire rotation that I could get for $10 else wear. Also at the next service appt he said I had to have 2 other service issues done in order to get a free oil change. I called GMC and they said that these options are normally done at 60,000 miles. I am barely at 30,000. Unprofessional management, and a complete waste of time. They appear to have no conscience when it comes to lying. I contacted this dealership looking for a used truck or SUV. I advised the manager I spoke with that I was pre approved, had my own financing and the absolute max I would be willing to spend. The manager said he would keep an eye out and contact me if anything caught his attention. After 2 days I again contacted the manager to see if anything had come in, he informed me that a truck had come in and it was what I had been looking for. I asked the price and it was several thousand dollars over what I was willing to spend. I reminded the manager of the max amount I would be able to pay, he then told me that the best thing to do would be to come and see the truck and make an offer. I expressed to him I did not want to waste my time or his time if my offer would not be excepted. He again told me to come down and make an offer we agreed on the day and time I would come in. After getting off the phone with that manager I received another call from the sales manager (Jose) confirming that they would be able to accept my offer with tax, license and everything included out the door, guaranteeing that I would not be at the dealership no more than an hour with no problem at all. We arrived that the dealership and met with the manger that I had made my appointment with, and test drive the truck no problem there. However that's when all turned for the worst. When we enter the office and sat down to do the paperwork my husband asked how much the truck would be. At first the manager did not answer and when he finally did answer with 100,000 (some kind of joke, so not funny) he went back to ignored my husband's concerns regarding price and continue the paperwork. The manager then went to go see Jose the Sales Manager, when the two came back they told us the price of the truck and it was several thousand dollars over the price that had been agreed upon and guaranteed by Jose via phone. When we expressed our dissatisfaction in this Jose proceeded to tell us that we were getting such a great deal and that they had already marked the truck down in price for us. My husband reminded them of the guaranteed price that was given to us they paid no attention and continued to state that we were getting such a great deal. This proceeded to go on all the way up to the General Manager of the dealership. Again we were given another offer by the General Manager which was still $800 over the amount that we had been promised. The General Manager stated that it was the lowest they could possibly go because they had just received the vehicle on the lot. The General Manager was extremely patronizing stating that we will just let you go home and think about what a great deal this is, to which my husband replied we will think about it as we go to another dealership and purchase a truck. This whole attack wasted almost 2 hours. Within a half hour of leaving the dealership the manager we were originally dealing with called and stated that he had been able to get the price down yet another $300 which was still $500 over the amount guaranteed to us by the Jose. To sum up the whole experience they were dishonest from the start. Lying about a guaranteed price, attempting to pressure/abuse my family into purchasing something out of our budget. I went to the dealer had an appointment for Friday at 5:30 pm, get there and the sales person who contacted me (Michel) was not there, and they wasted my time. After few days later she called me again let me know the Richard the internet sales manager was taking care of the situation. Richard contact me let me know the I can build my own car with all the specification I wanted, but I need to the dealer and build it with him. I asked him about the price of the car if is going to honer the truecar price and all the discount in that car and he said yes. *Beware*Moss Brothers Service department will diagnose your vehicle for a price of 149.00, but here is the catch, they will tell you that they are charging you also by the hour while they complete the diagnostic. Which means it could add up to much more. In fact, in my case they were charging by the hour and when they finished they held a price tag of over $400.00 dollars over my head to control my ability to take my vehicle to have repairs done elsewhere. I had an engine installed at another repair shop whose name I won't mention, and the car would not start. The other shop said it was the fuel pump. I purchased a fuel pump from Auto zone, but once it was installed it didn't work. I received a phone call advising me that the fuel pump was no good and to go purchase a second fuel pump to get my truck running. Without hesitation I rushed out and purchased a factory fuel pump and took it up to the mechanic's shop to have it installed. The truck still didn't run. After witnessing the mechanic work tirelessly attempt to get the truck run it would not crank up. He apologized for not being able to fix the problem, but stated he felt it may be electrical and that it wasn't the fuel pump. He then said I could keep my old one on because he ran a test on the truck and it works. I was told it was electrical problem and to take it to another repair shop that could do electrical work. I thought it was strange since the truck had ran just fine, only had white smoke coming out due to a blown head gasket in the newly installed engine. I was told "IT'S YOUR FUEL PUMP!!" Hmm.. the fuel pump (????) bad? I had only driven the vehicle once to my home and back up to the shop to return it. Here is the part where GMC Buick comes into play. Wanting to take my truck to a good reliable shop. My truck which is a 2004 GMC Envoy, I decided to take it to Moss Brother's GMC Moreno Valley, for a diagnosis. I spoke with a rep who seemed very friendly. He explained it would be a $149.00 dollar charge to repair or it could be hourly. I then said that sounds a bit excessive so I reluctantly declined. Later on that evening the same rep calls me back and offers to complete the diagnosis for a flat rate of the $149.00. ***There was the bait.**** I thought okay, np, since I wanted to know the problem with the truck, it seemed like the logical choice. Boy oh Boy, here we go. They complete the diagnosis and even though I explained every single detail about having three engines installed, the first working just fine with no issues running at all except for white smoke coming out the back. And because I didn't want to jeopardize my warranty on that engine I drove it straight directly to the shop. So, they call me up and say, "We discovered it's your fuel pump." You can only imagine how I felt. I urged them to check again as I knew it was not the problem I reminded the rep that two fuel pumps had been installed and it did not fix the problem. He said 'If it would make you feel better we will check the entire fuel system and call me back." When he called he confirmed the tech was right and it would cost $1100.00 to complete the repairs. When I discussed taking it somewhere else***pay attention*** He said "Well, your truck has the fuel belly down and our labor is going to cost you about a little over $400.00. Then he started to haggle the rates to repair and suggested I could buy the part and he could reduce the labor cost. Finally, when I agreed and installation of the fuel pump was completed. Sadly I got the call. It's started but it is not running. I was asked if the other shop had the computer to the first truck. I then called over and they of course, still had the computer for the motor. Then it was installed. I got the call come get the truck it's running and ready. Not only was my truck running so poorly when I test drove it with the same rep. He tried to convince me that they did repair the truck and it needed more work. They told me I needed a new battery, spark plugs, coil and fluid. The funny part is I had purchased a new battery new spark plugs and fluid was in the truck that was done by the other shop. I not only had to drive it over to another shop, who by the way was no dealership, a trust-worthy self employed mechanic barely speaking English. He says it was not your fuel pump, it is your fuel injector and a coil. He then repaired my truck. And guess what? My truck was no long knocking and shaking as though it was going to cut off. It ran like a airplane, as smooth as butter. But my lesson was hard and brutal, and cost me $949.00 dollars from GMC Buick. The shop charged $300.00 for labor and they fixed the issue. No fancy talk, no back end costs and no tricks, just a good hearted mechanic who really knew his craft. GMC just uses sales men to real you in and take your money. They do not care about fixing your car, just making as much money as they can squeeze out of you. read more

If only it were possible to give zero stars for service. It took the service runner 25 minutes to check in two vehicles. His excuse, "I can only do as much as I can" and "we had a long line". Why make an appointment if it only means a three hour wait for an oil change. Even better, you can't get a shuttle because they send the shuttle away while it takes 15 minutes to check the next person in. Oh, but coffee and donuts totally make up for losing half of your day. read more

I went in to get an oil change and a new battery. The technician installed it and once I got home I started to hear a noise like something was loose. I took in my truck the next day and they couldn't assist me. I had to leave my truck and I don't have any other mode of transportation. I feel unsafe in my own car because your technicians messed with my truck when changing out the battery or completing an oil change. I am extremely upset with your services! I wouldn't trust these people to work on my car again. read more

Worst customer service ever. Wished I knew before I bought a $42,000 car from them. Tried to set up an appointment to install my sun roof. Michelle, the head of service never called me back for two weeks after leaving a message each week. Then called again Andre was going to walk over the message to the service department and have another lady call me. Again, I did not hear from anyone. I called the general manager twice today and left two voice message and still no phone call from Moss Bros Buick Moreno Valley. If this is the indication of how they run there customer service. I will Never purchase a car from them again. Buyer beware. read more

Bought my 6th car from Moss Bros last week and it started as a great experience. Loved my new car. Had to take it back because the bumper was coming loose. The car has been there for 3 days and I've been without a car. This morning I get a call from the finance manager that they can't get me financed because of what I owe on my old car so they are going to keep the new one and bring back the old one which incidentally is listed for sale on their website for $4500 more than they gave me for it, which is how much more they wanted from me to make the deal now. Seems to me there was some room there to absorb that $4500. Plus the manager said part of the problem was "they" didnt get approved for the rebate. Seems like the finance department is to blame here. I spent 4 hours there when I bought it. Another hour and a half when I took it in for repair. Paid a penalty for withdrawing the down payment I gave them plus a fee to stop the old car payment. Switched my insurance, signed up for OnStar bought floor mats, all for nothing. After 6 cars I will never go back to this dealer. The finance manager got very curt with me and then after completely ruining my day and breaking my heart tells me to have a nice day! If they told me day one they couldn't make a deal I would have been fine, but to come back later and take my new car is just plain unacceptable and unprofessional! After 20 years as a loyal customer I am done. read more

This dealership was okay for purchasing, but when you have to bring your car back for service, THAT'S where you get screwed! In walks PHILLIP! What an arrogant piece of work! He is terrible to women and treats you like a second class citizen. He will talk down to you as though you know nothing about cars simply because he knows you need help. They don't want to stand by the warranty on the car and mine was still under warranty! They put you off and put you off telling you oh, put another 1000 miles on and come back and then we'll check it again. It's ridiculous! You can go anywhere online and see the problems the Equinox has with burning oil, they all know it but they try to delay fixing it so your warranty runs out! And PHILLIP is such a poor excuse for a manager, he's right there, leading the pack of terrible service! Avoid this place! Heck, avoid the Chevy name is this is how we get treated only 3 years in! read more
