Best dive bar west of the Mississippi, good drinks good food and friendly staff. Definitely a must stop

Fun beer joint, friendly service, great selection of COLD beer. They have a gorgeous waterfront deck, so peaceful and relaxing to hear the water rushing under you. The water is super clear you can see the fish, we had a good time watching the fish swim by.

There is no better way to put this but some dive bars are sad. I'm giving this place a 3 star since it's clean. Other than that it's a sad place for Georgetown locals to do some self loathing. This is where mountain town folks in the area go to the ponder what they did wrong in life. The food is okay but if you wanna be depressed while listening to a combination of horrible trap mumble mouth hip hop and some country music from the juke box, this is your place. Even writing this review is making me depressed reminiscing on the depressing atmosphere. This place is like a scene right out of Ozarks, my name is Earl, Trailer Park Boys, or Honey Boo Boo.

Good local bar with a back deck overlooking a stream. Low key on a Tuesday afternoon.

I get it on ciabatta with bacon and their bacon is actually quality crispy, flavorful, not flimsy. The chipotle aioli is what really makes it though. So good. Heads up: this sandwich is big. Like, if you're not a big eater, you could easily split it. I didn't even finish mine and gave about a quarter to my mom It's perfect if you're about to have an active day and need something filling. I also ordered a medium matcha with vanilla and my total came out to about $20, which is a little pricey in my opinion but the portion size makes up for it. The matcha was good, but quick tip: if you like your drinks sweet, make sure to ask for sugar or flavor. I always forget and end up with a bitter drink lol. Everyone here is always super nice and welcoming. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. I go here often and already plan to be back in a couple weeks. Solid food, big portions, good vibes. Highly recommend.

You head to the back counter where you place your food order, and then you can head over to a table to sit and wait for the food to be ready. Once its ready, you head up to the counter to collect your food. The restaurant portion is real cute. They have some colorful tables and chairs which give it a nice Mexico vibe. Once you get your food, you can head over to the salsa bar and add all the additional toppings your heart desires. They have all kinds of sauces from spicy to mild and even have jalapenos and sliced radishes. I got an asada taco and a barbacoa taco and they were both delicious. But my favorite was the barbacoa. It had so much flavor and it was so juicy. I also got an horchata and it was perfect. One of the best I've had! The grocery side itself offers a huge variety of goodies you can find in Mexico including candy which is always what I look for!

The other half of the place is the restaurant. It's more like a small cafe which delivers authentic vibes but very humble. Food was amazing. We had their tacos and I had the burrito which was huge and packed with beef, rice, beans and guacamole. I had it with the loaded sauce on top. So basically you order your food and pick up once you're called. We tried their horchata and it was so delicious. Just the right touch of sweetness. Definitely a hidden gem but remember I rated this for their food and service. This is a humble authentic place.

My fiance got the chimichanga and man did he get his moneys worth! Massive chimi and he really enjoyed it. We had chips and salsa to start and the salsa was quite tasty. Coincidentally, the couple next to us had ordered the same dishes! So, maybe we got two of the more popular items on the menu. We didn't get drinks this time, but may have to try a margarita when we come back. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in town. Plus, LOTS of great options for a variety of dietary needs, like vegan and vegetarian!
