What an adorable spot for brunch. Yes, it is targeted towards kids but you can certainly have a great brunch or a coffee date here with a friend. Food was very fresh and delicious! Kids loved their pizza and hot chocolate treat as well. There is a separate birthday party room for kids so a great option for a celebration right in the heart of ocean avenue area of Brooklyn.

Beautiful interior, high quality food, huge portions and reasonable prices. The stuff was friendly but it took forever to get receipt and leave. It did not spoil the general impression but something that should be taken into consideration

3.5 stars. Not sure if the cafe is recently opened but Mouette seems to specialize in children workshops and activities. The activities and schedule rotates so you can check the website for updates. This spot is super cute and full of fun, beautiful decor -- plenty of photo opps here. They recently hosted an event here so the space was decorated beautifully with florals. Off to the left of the cafe when you walk in, there is a space for children workshops. The cafe has about 7-8 tables and bar seating. Staff is nice but food was only okay and standard -- nothing outstanding. The menu was limited compared to the menu on the website. We ordered a shakshuka and savory chicken crepe, which both come with either a side of salad or potatoes. I had the potatoes, which was nicely seasoned. Shakshuka had three poached eggs, done perfectly. Cute spot with standard brunch food. I am interested in their event planning stuff though.

I've passed this place many times and when researching a child friendly place to go to this one came up. It is aesthetically pleasing with the lights and flowers. The menu online did not match what the restaurant was offering. The 3 choices on the children's menu were pancakes, pizza and chicken nuggets. We were unable to order that for our daughter due to allergies. I ordered the salmon which came with a side salad and mashed potatoes or rice; I chose the mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the dorado but they didn't have it, they had a different fish instead so my husband ordered that. We also ordered the burrata and grilled vegetables. Overall, the food was good but I didn't find the restaurant appropriate for babies. We were given a small open cup instead of a cup with a lid so it was difficult giving our daughter sips. All of the plates were glass which we had to keep away from our daughter so she wouldn't break it. The decor had little birds on fish wire. My baby, of course, wanted to touch it but if she pulled it down the flowers would come down too.

I first ordered the crispy spring rolls, which were very good. For my main I had the Massaman Curry. Now folks, this is my favorite curry of all time -- actually one of my favorite foods of all time -- and while it's common in LA where I used to live, it's not as common where I live now, in the Bay Area. And the restaurants that do carry it usually do not make it right and it's not very good. I am used to Massaman in the traditional preparation where it's more like a beef stew made with chunks of beef and needs to cook overnight. When done right it is the most aromatic curry ever -- it's almost like an aphrodisiac! -- and the beef comes out oh so tender. Usually if places have this curry but then offer a choice of protein, then it generally is not cooked properly, and that is actually how they prepare it at SaiTong. But because of such great reviews I decided to take a chance and try it. Well, let me tell you, it was definitely not the norm...it was absolutely delicious! I had it with chicken (they serve breast as default), and the chicken soaked up the curry really nicely. I also asked for there to be no onions, which I think alters the flavor of a curry too much. It does include the traditional potatoes and peanuts, and the potatoes were fine and cut into nice little chunks, the peanuts actually were thrown in raw.. what I think is the more traditional way which is to actually burn the peanuts a little bit, but that's okay, it didn't take down the dish any. Their brown rice is of the very dark kind, which I like, and goes so well with the curry. Service was wonderful from the bartender but was also provided by the rest of the staff and everyone was so nice. I left there feeling so satisfied, and cannot wait to go back and try some other dishes.

I'm not the biggest fan of the wings, but the shrimp and lobster roll is definitely worth trying. The service has always been good when I've visited, and the atmosphere is always a vibe. It's close to the Theater District, so it's a great spot to grab dinner before or after a show. There's usually a nice crowd, and you might even bump into an actor or celebrity. Overall, it's a place I keep coming back to because the food is consistently good, the service has been solid, and the overall experience is always enjoyable.

Came here for dinner before a show (and after watching that In The City episode...can we all agree the dress was white?!). Anyway, love the vibe of this place, very high end and cool feeling decor wise. We were seated and taken care of right away, our server understood we had to be out at a certain time and made sure everything came out in a timely manner which was much appreciated. I started out with the pani puri cocktail because I'm a simp for pani puri. Loved the little case this whole thing came out in, the drink was delicious and the puri had a smokey flavor to it. We had the Gilafi Paneer to start out which was soft, tasted homemade. The bell pepper and onion with it were roasted and excellent. I went with the goat curry for my main and was blown away, I ate every last drop of this sauce with the garlic naan I was happy to have ordered. Definitely not your typical mediocre Times Square spot. If you're looking for a pre-show dinner spot and love Indian food this is the place for you.

Bedmi puri sabzi and Koyla chicken was just ok, not something I would crazy over but decent enough. And the last thing we tried was Mutton Seekh kebab roll. This was an absolute pleaser, thin roomali rotis wrapped around perfectly seasoned minced goat meat, paired with the chutney, this was divine. I would recommend trying this place out. We also tried the masala soda which was nice but missed the actual Karol bagh flavor.

The food here that we had was absolutely fenominal. We started with their house made truffle potatoe chips. Nicely flavored, just perfect amount of saltiness with a great crisp. The star of the show was the oyster mushroom tacos. By far the best single bite or dish of food. The flavor profile is so robust, with different textures, it was a true delight. I highly recommend their black sesame bread pooding as well. Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.
