Even with 2.5 stars I thought would give this place a try. I do a lot of lunches at MM in all the different places I work. My first impression was how cold it was in the place. It was just as cold inside as outside. Then I noticed that I was the only one here. It was 12:05 and empty. I got the lunch buffet. The guy at the counter was polite. The lady was more friendly. There was one pizza, it was hot. A couple came in after a few minutes and a combo pizza was put out. None of us ate that one. It took about 25 more minutes for a pepperoni pizza to come out. Terrible experience. Found not one, but TWO hairs in our pizza. The guy behind the counter (Zayn) said he couldn't refund our money because the boss wasn't there?? WTH?!? He offered to make us another pizza however we did not want to take a chance and rightly so. He wasn't wearing a hairnet or any kind of protective equipment you're supposed to wear around food and yet he wants to make us something else? I went into this restaurant and was shocked at the filth in the bathroom. Everything was dirty, including the floors, doors, sinks and toilets. My son also said the same about the men's restroom. I've been here several times now usually ordering a pizza or two for pick-up. Every time the staff has been fast and courteous. The order have always been correct and the pizza is delicious. It's nice to know there is a great location in Folsom with a friendly staff, fast ordering and delicious pizza. Our experience has not been the same at some other pizza restaurants. This is like most other Mountain Mikes Pizza stores. The interior is nice-- very open, clean and family friendly. Their customers service is good and the speed is not bad. They have multiple flat screen TVs for the games. I would definitely come here again but would order over the phone to circumvent the wait-time here. read more

Tried to see what the contents of the gluten free crust to make sure it was safe for my kids and completely unwilling to assist or provide any information. She was very unhelpful. Man if I could rate this lower I would now I understand y the store was empty when I get there I walked in they rushed me to order and when I did I ordered a sandwich they had me wait for 25-30 minutes for them to give me flat bread with cheese and slices of meat with lettuce mayo and mustard chilling on the side. Highly disappointed. First they don't want to take our coupon that was a fundraising card from Mountian Mikes. Then we were told to honor the coupon we would have to pay a $6.99 fee for the "free pizza" then ordered beer and were told "no beer". Excuse me! No beer at a pizza joint? Did you not pay your bill?? Did you loose your license? We were told the "system is down" anyways ultimate fail. Most likely not coming back unless we see the sign stating under new management. The windows of this location advertises Lunch Buffet 11-2 M-F. I go there because of the widow advertisement. It's actually out of my way to get there! When I go in there is no buffet! The lady says there's no buffet because there's no customers! Tell you're not going to have customers if you don't have the buffet that you're offering in the window and I left! Someone please tell me again why I put myself through this!!! We came here because of a fund raiser so I figured why not eat here also?!?! Well jason it's a bad idea to eat here because the food blows. How hard is it to get a personal pizza correct? I only ordered three items on it. I got a massive amount of olives so much in fact I had to dig through them to find the other two ingredients, one of which was missing. That's right folks they couldn't even count to three. I ordered an Everest Mountain Size Pizza On Tuesday, October 13 at 4:45 pm. The pizza was delivered about 1 hour later. We ate part of the pizza and saved the remaining pizza for another day. On Thursday evening we decided to heat up and eat the remaining pizza. When I looked at the pizza I noticed a long thin hair so I went to pull the hair off the pizza and a piece of sausage came with the hair. The hair was entwined within the sausage and through the sausage, several places meaning the hair was not a foreign source it had to come from the store BEFORE the pizza was cooked. This was around 10 pm so I needed to wait until today to call the store. I spoke with a woman who identified herself as the store manager. She was not interested in providing any remedy. She offered me a small discount if I reordered the same pizza. WHAT? I told her I have 1/2 a mountain pizza that I cannot eat. I told her I saved the sausage with the hair through it that I could bring it by for her to see and she refused. She just kept telling me what did you order such a large pizza if you were not going to eat it all. Why is that ANY of her business? I have 20,000 social media followers and another 2300 business followers on Linkedin. I told her I was going to post a bad review with pictures of the sausage and hair on yelp and she didn't care. she repeated that she would give me a small discount if I ordered the same pizza. I spent $61.93 and had to throw 1/2 the pizza away. That is it I'm done with Mountain Mikes and will never order from your company again. I am going to post this exact text on Yelp, Grubhub, and other food delivery services. Additionally, we have a family forum here in Folsom that everyone posts messages on every day. Incase you bring your kids here don't use the machines that give toys. They don't tell you but they steal your money and they won't give you the quarters back but they will deliver for free if they mess up. How many yelp stars is customer service worth these days? If you want pizza, sure, they're a chain and can copy a recipe. If you have a problem, don't count on them to fix it. For me, customer service is the foundation of a business. When the manager tells me, "You're wrong" when giving her a friendly heads up that certain delivery drivers are not bringing more than $5 change for a $10 or $20 I am definitely offended. The only good experience was the friendly cashier who managed to appreciate the odd combination of humor between my bf and I. We ordered a veggie alps and both cooks had to come out and read the menu board because they didn't know what was on it!
