So let me start by saying I'm a pizza freak. I love a good warm pie with loads of melted whole milk mozzarella cheese, and whatever toppings I decide to add. I understand the price of things have gone up. But this place is seriously way over priced and their pizzas are super small for what you're paying. It definitely doesn't taste like that mom & pop shop on a New York street corner; or the hometown pizzeria that used to be in small towns. It's your run of the mill pizza. Better than Dominos but I wouldn't justify the price in comparison to the two. And it knocks Little Ceaser's out of the park... but what doesn't? Let's just say you'll have to shell out at least $20 for a medium pie that will not even feed your family or 4. So go with the XL, dig deeper in those pockets for the extra cash. Try it once and decide if it's for you or not. I guess we were hoping for more of a mom and pop taste to set them apart. (yes we know it's a chain!) Ehh. I wouldn't order from this store again. I placed an online order for delivery. I assumed they had their own delivery drivers like the pizza chains. On top of paying a $3 delivery fee, I put a $4.33 tip at the time of order. Then I get a text from DoorDash that they are delivering my order and it shows on there that the driver was given a $1 tip. So the store stole most of her tip. The pizza was also not great and is very overpriced. read more

You call this a half a pound you make it harder for your drivers when they deliver to peoples homes they won't tip good if the food is not good . 7 pieces is not a half a pound for 11.99 . This used to be good pizza, so the price was worth it. Last week I ordered over $100 in pizza for a memorial eve gathering, and they sent us burned pizza. Not overcooked - burned so when you touched the pepperoni it just went to ash. Even the veggie pizza was black on the bottom. No way they didn't know when they put them in the box - they just didn't care. Could have remade them - just didn't care what we received. Fast forward to today, ordered again thinking it was a fluke, and received well done pizza and cheese sticks. Not soft, not cheesy or yummy - hard, dry and flavorless. Time to look for a new place. This was my first time to ever visit any Mountain Mikes Pizza. There were 2 in our party and we chose the Mountain Mike's at 29101 Newport Rd in the Stater Bros shopping center in Menifee, Calif. On July 30, 2022 at 03:41:24, I ordered a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza with an ice tea. The total bill came to $27.27, order #151. That was considerably more than the total I had in my head and questioned the bill. Julianna was at the register and went over my bill with me. After realizing everything I ordered was expensive, I paid for my order and sat down as we were going to eat there. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, so I got my ice tea and sat down. My friend ordered right after me a pineapple pizza. After about 20 minutes I got my pizza. I started eating it and my friend had a piece of my pizza while waiting for his. Note we've already waited 20 minutes and now my friend has waited an additional 20 minutes. I told him something is wrong and I'll bet they lost your pizza. He went to the counter and asked Julianna where his pizza was. She goes to the back and comes out and says, it'll be 5 more minutes, we're busy. Note, we ordered 1 minute apart! Just how busy can you get in the one minute between the two orders? Her answer was unacceptable and my friends reaction started to become heated. He asked for his money back, which they did refund his money but they had no sincere apologies for losing his order. The manager (I didn't get his name) came to our table and told my friend, we gave you your money back and if you want to reorder, we'll make your pizza. Again, not apologetic. This review is to make note of the Customer-No-Service we received at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Menifee, CA. No one working there seemed to care we had just been screwed. I have just read some of the other reviews this location has received and I see another reviewer had pretty much the same problem as we did. Note to Upper Management: This store is in need of some serious store level management. Overall, my pizza was very good, but for the price, it wasn't any better than other pizza chains that have lower prices. I will never revisit this store again, and I'm skeptical I'll ever go to another Mountain Mike's. What makes a business stand out is their customer service and this place failed miserably. read more

Absolutely garbage online service. For one medium, two larges, and two sodas, it was $130!! I'm a Marine and they said the military discount only applies to people that come in to the store. The pizza was ordered with extra cheese. There was practically no cheese. There pizza was barely cut and not all the way through. And they were ridiculous. It looked like a chimpanzee cut the pizza. As far as the taste went, it was slightly above average, but not extraordinary nor very memorable. I could see taking a large group of people here because of the mammoth size of the pizzas and because of the vibe of the place. I made eye contact with him several times and also noticed management/employees did not bother having masks pulled up or on. Guy making pizzas had mask on his chin and continued to touch his face. Picked up an order Thanksgiving night 5:30 pm. 2 male employees working , owner/manager and one other employee. The employee was very rude, condescending and incredibly disrespectful!!! No wonder they don't have more stars. I'll be calling the corporate office. Terrible customer service. I tried to use my rewards and was told that you could only use your rewards by ordering on line. I've been using my rewards when picking up my order and have never had a problem until tonight. The employee said he had told me before and insisted he had. When I tried to explain that he has never waited on me before he became agitated and raised his voice the entire time I was walking out the door. Had a great experience today at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Menifee. The manager or supervisor working tonight was very nice. Not just to me, but to everyone in the restaurant. My daughter won the Moose from the arcade area which was pretty awesome. My wife really liked the jalapeño poppers and we also had the pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of the Betty IPA. Less than $50.
