I went here for the first time maybe a couple weeks ago. I wanted to give it a try since its literally walking distance from my house. I ordered a large sausage pizza. I was very disappointed it was dry, barely had any cheese and didnt really have any flavor. For the price of the pizza I excepted more. Who knows maybe I will give it another shot. Bummer. Bad first impression. Driver apologized for smashing pizza "a little" 3 slices ruined with cheese stuck to the top of the box, 1/3 of the pizza now inedible. Also ordered wings and another pizza, thankfully they were not smashed. Pizza was ok, overall, a solid m'eh. Definitely check for promos if ordering online. May give one more try to see if we can get an unsmashed order, the disappointment from the smashed pizza may have influenced the flavor. Had a great experience today at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Menifee. The manager or supervisor working tonight was very nice. Not just to me, but to everyone in the restaurant. My daughter won the Moose from the arcade area which was pretty awesome. My wife really liked the jalapeño poppers and we also had the pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of the Betty IPA. Less than $50. Great great pizzza . All staff is super friendly. As me and my family walked in we were greeted my almost most of the staff . They also had great special going in large one topping for $16.99 . Picked up an order Thanksgiving night 5:30 pm. 2 male employees working , owner/manager and one other employee. The employee was very rude, condescending and incredibly disrespectful!!! No wonder they don't have more stars. I'll be calling the corporate office. Terrible customer service. I tried to use my rewards and was told that you could only use your rewards by ordering on line. I've been using my rewards when picking up my order and have never had a problem until tonight. The employee said he had told me before and insisted he had. First time at Mountain Mike's. I ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza and a drink. I was very impressed with the pizza, actually it was the best pizza I've had from a chain pizza company. My only issue was that the dining room was so cold, it was evening hours, The AC was blowing and the fans were going and made it very uncomfortable to eat in there, I had to leave and eat the rest of my food in the car as I was far away from home. I realize it may get hot in the kitchen for the employees, but it was really cold in the dining room other than that I will return again for takeout because the pizza was excellent but the menu was very limited. We have tried EVERY pizza parlor in the Temecula area over the past 25 years. Disappointed is not a harsh enough word...but then we tried Mountain Mikes...WONDERFUL!! Mountain Mike's Pizza? More like Mountain Mid's Pizza. Tried this place because I had gotten a BOGO coupon, which was a good deal since this is one of the most expensive pizza places in the area. It's like $22 for a 1 topping medium pizza, so getting two for that price was a solid deal, but I'd never pay $45 for these two pizzas. They were extraordinarily mid, not enough cheese, not enough sauce, not enough seasoning. Do you remember how Domino's tasted like 10 years ago when it was the worst pizza ever? That's what this tastes like, but with decent quality ingredients. So it was bad, but not TERRIBLE. I had a girls gathering a few weeks ago, where my twin sister and I wanted to surprise the girls and we were getting a mountain mikes which is the big pizza to surprise them! Yet when the pizza showed up, they had brought three large pizzas and not the big mountain mikes! We had vegetarian and vegan women here so we ordered one with extra mushrooms and the large one was going to be a pepperoni. The three large pizzas that came were all meat! When we had called Mountain Mike's, we asked why we didn't get the big pizza and instead got three large all meat. They told us that on their own, they decided since they didn't have enough dough to make the large mountain mikes that they would send us three large pizzas all meat! What is the purpose of having a phone number for the customer if you don't call them and ask what they would like instead? They decided all on their own that they wouldn't call to let us know they didn't have enough dough to make a Mountain Mike's, and they decided on their own to send three large meat pizzas leaving our vegetarian friends with nothing to eat! When we called the next day to complain about it, we got a bunch of stink! After an hour speaking with a supervisor she then had to call the owner or whatever he was to ask about a refund! Isn't the customer always right? And the reason we didn't call right away is because the group of girls were there and we didn't wanna leave the party just to address the situation so we called first thing the next morning. After the long battle over Mountain Mike's Pizza they finally refunded our money. With all of the pizza choices we have here in Menifee, we chose them and they chose to disrespect us as customers! Tried for the first time and was sadly disappointed. Not only is it a little overpriced (not big deal), but the pizza slices are 1/3 to 1/2 smaller than normal pizza slices. Surely this is to market "14" slices for a large. We got sausage and there was about one slice of sausage on each slice. Wish they were more generous with toppings for what they are charging.
