My wife brought home some pizza from a friends house and she told me it was from Mountain Mike's. So good that a couple of weeks later I placed a order for take out. At arrival there was one employee working and she was very nice and made sure order was correct. The pizza and wings are beyond amazing, there's a good amount of toppings on the pizza which taste extremely fresh. I firmly believe the pizza is far better than Pizza Hut or Papa Johns, the pizza has the perfect amount of sauce and much like other big name pizzas, the sauce does not over power the overall taste. The cheese taste very fresh and has the nostalgic cheese stretch to it. The wings were also cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of crisp to them. The overall atmosphere inside is amazing, there's plenty of TV's to catch any sporting event live. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for," I truly believe this pizza is quality and the pricing is perfect and is worth every cent. I checked the menu, read the reviews, seemed this would be a nice pizza place. Then notice that one was coming to Menifee, CA. After waiting 6 months on being built, it finally arrived and Mountain Mike's did not disappoint. This is my family and I second visit to this location and got to say the food is great. However, the staff and leadership need a better understanding on what great customer service is. The first time there, the staff was not warm beginning with our order over the phone. Both times we felt the team was rude and not warm about explaining more in detail about the menu and when ask to repeat options, they were rude. Today our phone order was to be picked up by my wife at 4pm and that didn't happen. My wife didn't leave the restaurant until 430. No apology for being late and when my wife ask for cheese bread while she waited, the staff wasn't accommodating for any inconvenience however proceed to charge her for the bread. We don't want anything free but at least be human about the experiences and treat your guest right. This will be my last visit here. There are too many other pizza options in the area. Too bad because the food isn't bad but lost me due to the poor customer experiences. Take a lesson that great service will only be spread to a few friends and family members but bad service will always be spread to about 10-15 people. Value and treat your guest with respect because we chose your establishment by finding parking in a busy shopping center and then walking in. This place is amazing I really wanted to hate the pizza here because I do think it's expensive but I would rather pay for quality and this pizza is good the make everything fresh the pineapple and Bacan pizza is so good they use fresh bacon that cooks in the oven it's not re heated bacon and the pepperonis are small so you get a piece with every bite. I like that it's close to home and that if I wanted they could deliver. Thumbs up ! my only real complaint is that I wish they would give us more coupons. You never get a second chance at a first impression! And my first impression was a bad one. My husband said their wings were good so I decided to come here starving to get some. Ordered boneless wings at 730, about 5-10 minutes later the girl says "we ran out of bone out is bone in okay??" I said yes because I was trying to save her the hassle of giving me back my money so I agreed. Another ten minutes go by and another girl noticed me just staring into space waiting for something so she asked me my name. I told her my name she goes and checks comes back and says "did you say Alma?" "No, I said mary ann," doesn't come back for a few more minutes. When she does come back she asked what toppings did you want on it? ....... wait what????? "I ordered wings." She says "ooooh wings?!?! I'm sorry about that!" So she leaves again and then some guy comes up to me and says "we lost your ticket, what did you order?" I was happy to see this store open up. I've enjoyed the chicken sandwich at another Mountain Mike's and having another restaurant in the east side of town is a plus. Sadly, it seems they will not be offering sandwiches at this location. My first time in I was told there would be a delay in offering sandwiches so I had some very mediocre wings. Today I was told sandwiches will never be offered. I decided to try a pizza. After paying I was told they were out of the topping I requested. As much as I hate to leave a bad review, it is necessary at this time. Let me start by stating that we have not gone anywhere else since Mountain Mike's has opened. We have dined in, taken out and had it delivered. On average we have their pizza at least twice a month because we like it that much. On 5/18/20, we ordered and decided to pick up because the delivery time was considerably long. They have taken social distancing measures by only using one door, tape on the floor to direct traffic and a mat in front of the counter that you are asked to stand behind. My wife and I entered wearing our face masks and waited for our food. While waiting, a father and child entered and picked up their order, also wearing face masks. My concern is simple: during all of this, none of the three employees, which included the owner, were wearing any type of face coverings or gloves. They touched the cash register, took money, handed me a pen and went right back to making food. When we returned home, my wife mentioned that she heard one of the employees sneeze. Perfect......now what? We decided to toss $60 of food in the trash and go to plan B which did not include Mountain Mike's. Why take the aforementioned safe distancing measures and then go without face coverings or gloves? Seems rather irresponsible for a business that is lucky to be open when others are closed or will never reopen. As I write this, I don't feel we will be able to return in the future. read more

I got a confirmation e mail for the on line order I submitted and it states do not respond because no one will answer. How are customers supposed to reach your place if business. We just noticed this place and decided to give it a try. My wife is not a big pizza fan but I am. We went in on Saturday night and it was relatively busy, but we found a seat without any problem. They also have a nice patio. We ordered the Chicken BBQ Luau pizza and the cheesy bread sticks. Again my wife is not a big fan of pineapple on her pizza but she was willing to try it. The staff was Awesome!! And very friendly!! While waiting for the pizza, we watched as they brought pizzas out to customers before us and we kept commented how good the pizzas looked. Our pizza came out in about 20 minutes. It was seriously the BEST pizza I have ever eaten. My wife loved it also. There was a Lot if toppings on the pizza and the crust was crunchy. About 50 minutes after I ordered I get a text saying my order was cancelled so I called the restaurant to find out why and they didn't really say anything other than well it's here if you want to come get it and we'll refund you, so I went to get it. Got to the restaurant and was ignored for about 5 minutes before someone in the back noticed me, (because the girl at the counter had her back turned the entire time I was standing there) the guy came out didn't greet me just yelled out a name, no one said anything to claim that order so he looked at me and asked if I was Scott, clearly I wasn't Scott since I didn't say anything the first time. Anyway I told him no and explained why I was there he just said hold on, went to the back and brought me out a COLD pizza and COLD wings. No sorry that happened no apologies just here you go. I was really looking forward to my visit to Mountain Mike's after seeing an ad in my news popup. My daughter and I got in the car and immediately drove over. They do have a very nice outside dining area as you walk up. Going in just a few tables due to Covid. So quiet. We went to counter and the woman was on the phone and computer so we waited. After a few min, she told us she would be right with us. About 5 minutes later she got off the phone and took our order. No lids for our to-go cups, no biggie. There was only one other couple sitting at a table so I figuring wouldn't take long. We sat at another table and waited. Halfway through our drinks we were still waiting. My daughter checks the receipt, hmm order was put in 30 minutes ago. Couple got their order and left. Didn't wipe down their table while waiting for order to be ready, ok. Another group of two come in to order, and now our order is finally ready. Took 40 minutes. By now we are pretty hungry. Ordered some mozzarella sticks and a small pepperoni. Mozzarella stick were basically store bought, throw in microwave kind. Took forever to get bite down. Ok, my daughter tried the pizza. Cute 10" cute in 10 pieces. Her hands are dripping with grease from a 1" piece. Eww, she didn't like it, too greasy. Now she's a kid who loves all pizza, but she definitely doesn't like this one. I try it, way too much grease. The box was soaked already with grease. We both ate a couple 1" pieces and decided that was enough. We will go get something else somewhere else. Get up to throw trash away. No trash cans. Have to hand the woman half a pizza and half an order if mozzarella sticks forget to throw away. Almost $30 wasted. Will definitely not go back. read more

Poor management!! My husband and I went last night for Valentine's Day and it was super understaffed! Their was only one cashier and she looked really frustrated. First of all, the phone kept going off for a good 30 minutes, again, she was the only one and I don't blame her. Second, the tables weren't being cleaned. We were originally going to sit outside due to no booths being available and 20 minutes later their was an opened booth, obviously with the previous guests mess, and the guy who brought out our pizza didn't bother wiping down the table for us, he just took the dishes. Again, I don't blame him because he had to run back to the kitchen and make more pizzas. Our surrounding tables weren't being cleaned off, the mess was sitting there for 20-30 minutes. A customer even told me "looks like I'll have to clean my own table!" Third, the line was crazy long that they tried closing down the restaurant with a hand written note outside the door stating "Sorry, we're closed" at 6:30 p.m.!!! My wife and I brought our two young sons in on this veterans day 2019. We have been wanting to try the new pizza place in town for a long time and finally made a night of it! We walked in and saw every single table with empty pizza trays and trash on them. The girl behind the counter was taking a call in order I'm sure, but was on the phone for close to 5 minutes before we got asked what we want. We ordered two 14" pizzas and she said the wait would be 35 min (wow) but ok. We then asked for an appetizer or something to keep the kids held over till then and she said she has to refill the salad bar "sorry". And a thing of bread for the kids would be the same wait time. (wow). Then to top it all off I went to pay and she said it $49!!!!!! For two small "large" pizzas and two sodas? WOW! Needless to say we will never be coming back. The higher prices I can deal with if the experience and service and quality back it up.
