My family just moved back to the north side of modesto and decided to try the mountain mikes on Standiford. We were very satisfied with our choice. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Our pizzas were perfect even with all of our special requests. We will be bringing our sons baseball team here after their last game. read more

Definitely my favorite place to eat at! The manager Nicole definitely knows how to keep the place neat, organized, and has the best attitude. One of the shift leaders, Andre always makes me feel welcomed with her warm and welcoming smile. The cashier, Maria is the sweetest girl ever. I've never met a cashier as nice as her anywhere else. So I don't review much but I went into this mountain mikes on Standiford and was immediately greeted by a nice girl named Cristal, after she took our order there was no shortage of customer service from the whole staff. I said I wanted my food well done and they were glad to accommodate me. The atmosphere was just more than average which in turn made my meal much more enjoyable. Really good, but greasy! Nasty wings. !! Has hella fat ! The sweets is good. I can recommend. Not on buffet time. People can be greedy. Plus they don't put food out as fast. A Friday night and very busy the orders were getting a tad behind but these ladies were so friendly and helpful that it wound up being no big deal. I have ordered here multiples times and always have an issue. The first night started when we ordered multiple pizzas. It took them about an hour and 30 minutes to deliver 3 pizzas. We called asking for our order and they said "our oven is broken and we can't cook anything right now" if this was the case wouldn't you call the customers and let them know that their food will be over an hour to get. We ordered again thinking what could go wrong?? Our pizza was awful that night. Burnt EVERYTHING!!! The crust, cheese and topping were so over cooked we couldn't even eat it. Tonight I ordered for pick up online. And was told our order would be $48. Ok so a little pricy.. We set out with no card and only cash to arrive there and being told our order was really going to be $60. I came home to grab extra cash and print my receipt. They reluctantly gave me my correct pricing after going all the way home to get more money and the receipt. They said they get audited and need to have an actual copy. We have ordered so many times because this place is so close to our house.. Which is why we continue to order from them. After tonight's mishap we will not be ordering again. read more

Pizza was good, staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the salad bar was sketchy, nothing on the salad bar was fresh and it was a mess. The floors and self serve cheese/pepper station were also a mess from the lunchtime pizza buffet, and I was there for dinner. read more

This location is by far the busiest in Modesto, so the wait times are understandable especially during the busy football season. It's well worth it for the fantastic pizza and great hospitality. Ordered online and was able to use a coupon. When I arrived the restaurant was busy with customers who had ordered in-store as well as those who had ordered before arriving. There were children running around who were not being watched by their parents, two were at the counter requesting change and needing assistance with a vending machine. The phone was ringing. The girl at the counter, Ariana, was polite and handled my order while dealing with the phone and children. Very impressed with her service in spite of the chaos. First of all let me say the pizza tasted good. I ordered it online and the website stated there was an hour wait time for delivery. I ordered the pizza and an hour and 20 minutes later it wasn't here. I called the store and she said the driver had left 15 minutes ago. And it should be here any time. He arrived 15 minutes later over an hour and a half total time and the pizza was completely cold. I paid $3.75 for delivery of less than 2 miles. And still tipped the driver 15%. However delivering a cold pizza is unacceptable. read more

Came in for some great pizza and I received great customer service as well. The football game was on and I received a refill on my beer pitcher without having to ask. I was very impressed with how quick I got my pizza and how well the pizza was cooked. The store was very clean also which is huge in my dining choices. Mountain Mike's pizza quality seems to be declining. The past few times I have visited this location the pizza has really let me down. Soggy dough that isn't cooked all the way through sucks!! Also, the pizza never seems to be ready on times. I always get stuck waiting an additional 30 minutes. When I place an order online I specifically ask for well done crust and make sure to mention it in the comments section as well and I still receive a pizza that is not crunchy at all. What's the point in having the option available if you are going to completely ignore it? I think it's time to start looking for a different pizza place. We walked in and we told her we had never been there and she was super helpful by giving us different options and ideas of what to order. She was really sweet and had great customer service.
