I ordered from this location for our office work party, and I have to say, the customer service was exceptional! I called ahead because I had a few questions and wasn't completely sure about what I needed. As someone who has worked in customer service myself, I completely understand that those calls can sometimes be challenging. The cashier was kind enough to hand the phone over to the owner/manager (I unfortunately didn't catch his name), and from that moment all the way through delivery, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. He was patient, helpful, attentive, and genuinely made me feel like my order mattered. The level of service really stood out to me, and I truly appreciated the effort he put into making sure everything went smoothly for our office party. An employee acknowledged the confusion and offered a resolution, but when I called back, the manager refused to honor it, was dismissive, and ended the call when I mentioned escalating the issue. Awful experience. I was the only other customer in the restaurant and they told a group of Black boys they were disturbing other customers. Wrong. They did it because I hesitated coming in because the workers were shaking their heads at the boys, but I thought they were trying to tell me they're closing. We used the app to order a "Loyalty" discount on Wednesday, Christmas Eve. Well the scrooge at this Mountain Mikes claimed the app caused a problem and so we won't get what we paid for, which was more than just a pepperoni pizza. At some point, later after just the pizza was delivered (and not the side and the soda) an employee realized we were over charged and told us to call back to get the mistake corrected with a free pizza. We called today and they won't honor this, so with that, this location has overcharged $$ and is dishonorable. I highly recommend ANY of the many other pizza places around rather than run the risk of having this happen to you. It's terrible behavior by them, insanely poor customer service and honestly theft as they charged too much for not everything we received. We have raised this up to Corporate as well. Don't be a franchise owner if you don't want to honor the discounts that Corporate presents in the app. And if the app is at fault, NOTE: this is not the paying customer's fault. I love Mountain Mike's pizza. This was my 1st time at this location and the pizza is consistent with the franchise. I called in for a pick up. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall so there is parking out front. The staff was nice and the location is a nice size, great for large groups. I took off a star bc when I checked in on yelp they wouldn't let me use the 10% off coupon. I was told I needed to order online. I never had an issue using this coupon at other locations. read more

The pizza was made in about 25 minutes. Service was totally thorough on the options available. The restaurant was immaculately clean. I give Mountain Mike's 5 stars! A bonus, they opened before 11:00 for orders. I purchased one pizza for my mechanic with a soda, and delivered it. Tip: when you have a great mechanic, get the guys a pizza! What took me back to get a pizza for myself? Have you ever delivered a pizza without taking a slice for yourself? I waited outside and at exactly 5:50 my pizza was ready! I carried it home and the smell was tantalizing. I opened the box and the pizza was hot and looked delicious. I dug right in and was not disappointed! The bottom crust was crunchy, the cheese perfectly melted, with the right amount of toppings. I usually don't report micro aggressions but I am truly over business with employees who are rude because their families own that particular business. I didn't even get to order because I was so frustrated. I was walking into the restaurant and the cook was a few steps a head of me. I wasn't expecting him to hold the door open for me but he purposely opened the door just enough for him to walk through and close on me. At first I thought it was a rude customer but I watched him walk in the back. I asked the cashier who he was and she said he didn't work there and was the owners nephew. I'm thinking so the owners nephew who doesn't work who just came in from outside and walked into the cooking area doesn't work there? That's disgusting and unsanitary especially if you don't work there.Her lie however didn't have time to play out because I than watched him wash his hands and put on an apron! As I'm pointing this out the cashier insisted he didn't work there. I decided to just leave at this point and go across the street to Round Tables Pizza. Who wants to spend money in a place that treats customers like crap. He didn't want to at least open the door wide enough when he walked in so it didn't close on me why would I trust him to make anything for me and it be safe for me to eat. One time my friends and I went on a pizza run and compared pizzas from all the big chains near us and drumroll... Mountain Mike's was the clear winner! Tonight we wanted pizza and my default recommendation was Mountain Mike's- it hasn't disappointed yet. The crust really makes a pizza, and the crust here is the perfect thickness with that crisp bottom that makes it fun to bite into a slice. They're very generous with the toppings, especially for the combination pizza, and so each slice has a nice mix of what you want. I'm not a fan of pineapples on pizza but we had some stans in our group who wanted the Hawaiian pizza so i gave it a try and actually- it was pretty good! It wasn't too pineapple-forward, so you still got a good taste of the bacon and sweetness from BBQ sauce. I think the best part of this experience was watching everyone's jaws drop when we passed around the pizza box to feel how hefty it was. A heavy pizza in terms of weight but it doesn't make you feel too heavy/gross after eating it! read more

Mountain mikes pizza is a great place to get your pizza fix. They have various pizzas and a full on salad bar. I went in and ordered two pizzas with different toppings on each half. I got the pineapple chicken luau (love pineapple), and Margherita. Our wonderful host suggested two of her favorites and we had to try. Our host Maria, Maria was so sweet and welcoming she definitely made our visit not just your typical one. Parking, they have their own lot, woo-hoo. Not many places do in this area. I love this place. I use to live in San Francisco and there were never a Mountain Mike's around. So we always settled for another pizza place. When we moved to Oakland, we ordered from round table, which was a complete disappointment. They got 2 pizza wrong and when the remade it, it was a complete sloppy mess. So we looked at the closest pizza places around our area and mountain mikes showed up. My husband and I ordered two small pizzas, but it was enough for 2 meals. They quoted us a 46 min delivery time, but they came in 30!! The pizza had a generous amount of toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. The crust had a perfect crunch and the dough was not too doughy! I ordered a pepperoni pizza and I love how the pepperonis curl up! My husband ordered a pizza with pineapple, chicken, and bacon with light amount of cheese and they cooked it to perfection! this place has declined so badly, been going there for lunch for 6+ years, never encountered such a disappointment as I did today, the female worker behind the counter is awful and sends off negative energy, she is playing music in the place so damn loud, with the cursing words not apparently suited for the little children's ears, and the workers were cheating the paying customers of a variety of different pizzas during a lunch buffet. on top of that her guy friends came in sneezing on purpose next to a paying customers who were dining there, the female worker thought it was funny. but that music being played over the speakers drowned out everyone trying to talk to one another while they were dining in. They could have opened up all the doors to the restaurant so people out on the sidewalks could hear the music. Note to the Owner of this Mountain Mike's: your restaurant is just awful, will not be going back there, Round Table across the street, offers a much better dining in experience! the pizzas are much tastier as well. read more
