My family loved it. Recently ordered from here while visiting from out of town. My family and I were tired from a very long drive and decided to order in at our hotel. Mountain Mike's saved the day with a perfectly cooked pepperoni pizza with a delicious crispy crust, pepperoni that's curled to perfection and a slightly spicy sauce. The buffalo wings were perfectly crispy and tossed with a tasty buffalo sauce. We enjoyed the hot, fresh and made to order pizza delivered right to our hotel. Highly recommend! read more

We ordered online last night (Valentine's day) around 5:45pm. The confirmation said it would be ready around 6:05pm. I arrived to pick it up around 6:35pm due to traffic. It was already paid for, so I just signed the receipt and gave a cash tip. I proceeded to wait, standing in front of the counter, while several people came in and left with their orders. 25 minutes passed and I asked if my order had been skipped over. He said no it was just taking everything a little longer than expected. I told him I ordered it at 5:43pm according to my confirmation email. Then he looked perplexed by this and started looking for my ticket. Turns out, they lost my ticket and never started it. He said sorry about that. It'll be out in 5 minutes. He wouldn't even look at me after that, and I wasn't even I got my order at 7:25pm. Almost 2 hours after we ordered. I pointed it out one more time, and all I got was "sorry bout that". Meanwhile, the food for my wife and I (pizza was for kids) got cold in my car. Ruined our Valentines dinner. read more

Mountain Mike's did a fabulous job on our pizza, even though they made a McKinley when we ordered the Everest. (We'll probably order the McKinley next time, we actually really enjoyed their mistake! LOL!) The pizza came hot nice and hot, AND crispy....so yummy especially with the textural contrast! The cashier was very nice and provided great service; the server not so much. The server had silverware in his hand but did not give us the silverware when he brought out our pizza. He was also sullen and unfriendly, it seemed he took the silverware with him on purpose. Sorry, but not a fit for a place counting on good hospitality! Beer came out ice cold....so gooooood with our pizza. Managers: One minus....please regularly clean the restrooms and use bleach to disinfect and get rid of smells. I was actually too grossed out by the condition of the ladie's room to put on my contacts there -- I preferred putting on my contacts on at our very clean table! Just sharing this so Mountain Mike's can do better and also keep customers coming in. WE LOVED OUR PIZZA AND BEER! Lunch buffet ? More like all the pizza they couldn't sell to everyone else hour. They purposely stack the lunch buffet with uncommon undesirable pizza. Pepperoni ? Forget about it. Try all black olives with the other half dessert pizza ! Or how about a half Hawaiian half Australian outback monstrosity. People pay good money give them normal pizza you guys know what sells and what doesn't sell so stop stacking the lunch buffet with crap nobody wants ! What a difference a year makes! I don't know if the place is under new ownership but it looks great compared to a year ago when we were there. They cleaned up the back areas which used to have a bunch of junk and storage stuffed in them. Now you can actually sit back there. They also replaced all the video games so there are new ones and my favorite...Pac-Man! The service was excellent and the pizza was delicious. Mountains mikes has good pizza but it's only good when it's piping hot. Now that this location has cleaned its act up we'll be going more often. Looks like a good place for kids birthday parties. read more

Ordered take out last night. I am so very pleased with the gluten free option. I ordered the Margarita with red sauce. It was delicious. This said, I have been sampling gluten free pizza all over this peninsula. The two restaurants that used to make their own pizzas have now gone over to the restaurant supply pre packaged options. I understand how difficult it is to maintain a gluten free space in a restaurant kitchen, but have been so disappointed to see these delicious local made options disappear. Much to my delight, Mountain Mike's in Pacific Grove served up a delicious pizza to me last night. Yes it was the restaurant supply crust...but with their red sauce and added tomatoes and cheese it was seriously delicious. Thanks you so much Mountain Mike's in Pacific Grove. Ordered a pizza + soda/ranch dip a couple weeks ago. The food was fine, but the delivery was shot. I had/have a broken ankle and the delivery guy left it at my gate which is 30+ feet up hill and up/down 9 stairs when I was wheelchair bound. I had to call my neighbor to finish what the delivery guy started. I even requested a hand off and added instructions to the comment section. Yet I still had to rely on my neighbors to do what I told the delivery guy to do at several junctions even verbally when he got here. Point is, do not order delivery here if you have an injury that puts you in a wheelchair. read more
