Not a good atmosphere. They have this loud machine that does not stop saying hello, and the lettuce is in a container of water at the salad bar. All they had was pizza with meat (my coworkers are vegetarian) so we had to ask them to make a cheese pizza. The breadsticks were out and they didn't care to make more. They are all in the back not paying any attention (except for the employee eating next to us). We are in town for work and won't be back next time we are here, or for the rest of our stay. Save the Yelp response and just make improvements for the locals who deserve better. read more

I am not a Yelp reviewer, but I really felt the need to voice my opinion after a horrible experience with Mountain Mike's in Seaside. Let me start of by saying that the pizza is usually pretty good; I have no complaints about the pizza. I always carryout from here without any issue. Today I felt like having the pizza delivered to my home. I placed the order around 6:10pm and paid for my order with a credit card; I was all set! An hour goes by and I am surprised my order has not been delivered. I continue waiting. At around 7:30pm I get a call from Mountain Mike's wanting to confirm my order! Confirm an order that has already been charged to my credit card? Confirm an order 80 minutes later? I ask her if my pizza is even ready; she says "Yes it is. We just want to confirm your order before delivery." I ask her how long delivery will take, she responds "45 minutes!" So Mountain Mikes, let me get this straight: you need to confirm an order that is already paid for; you take 80 minutes to bake my pizza; you let it sit and get cold and call me to confirm if I still want that pizza; you have the audacity to tell me that this pizza I have been waiting for will continue getting cold for an additional 45 minutes while out for delivery. Needless to say I cancelled my order and now I am waiting for my money to be credited back to my credit card. My advice: don't have Mountain Mikes deliver; they are horrible at it. It will change your opinion on their customer service as it has mine if you do risk it. Stick to carrying-out. You lost a customer Mountain Mikes. read more

I attempted to order a pizza for dinner this evening. I was told that it would take 50 minutes to arrive. After waiting almost ninety minutes, I called to follow up on where my order was and was told that the order was never placed and that they didn't even have my phone number to contact me. I asked about ordering a replacement and was told that it would be 50 minutes still and full price. Also, there was apparently no manager available to speak to until tomorrow. They got our order wrong and did not care, even the "manager" and they did nothing to correct the issue. We decided to give Mountain Mikes a try after having a bad experience at "Me n Ed's" (the pizza place formerly in the same location.) Even though the atmosphere was updated, sadly, the service and quality of food were the same. The counter service was lacking personality and the feeling of being inviting. The parmesan cheese smelled like mold, I actually thought the people sitting behind us were smelly. But when the smell followed us after we moved tables, we soon figured out it was the parmesan cheese shaker. I went back to the soda machine area to replace the shaker with another one, but they all smelled old and moldy. We both ordered different pizzas, and oddly my pizza came out 10 minutes before my Husbands. So he had to sit there and watch me eat. Unfortunately, that didn't last long because my pizza was extremely oily and uneatable by human standards (see photos). The crust was also thin and weird. I ended up sending my pizza back and receiving a refund. This is the second pizza place in the same location and I'm starting to feel like perhaps the location is tainted, because both pizza experiences were horrible, just horrible. We will definitely not be returning Mountain Mikes anytime soon, or another pizza place that opens up in this same location. read more

Hands down the absolute worst customer service ever!!!! We went in and ordered 2 pizzas to go. They got one order totally wrong and argued with me when I asked them to remake it. They forgot to make the other pizza and when I asked an hr later what was going on they said that it was still in the oven.( really takes an hr)I saw 3 large parties come in and order, eat their food before we got our pizzas. I was soo pissed that when we finally got our pizzas, I took them without looking at them. When I got home the pizza that I had them remake was still wrong..I will never go there again!! read more

The pizza was fantastic, and the place was big and pretty clean. It looked new. There are a couple of children's arcade games there for those with kids. I haven't had pizza this good in ages. Four stars because when we got our pizza the girl threw it down on the table without saying a word. The customer service was sub par, but the food was worth it. I'll be back! read more

It's always good to have a variety of pizza restaurant because it can get old eating at the same pizza place; so this has been added to my rotation of places to eat pizza. I called in and placed an order with the $19.99 coupon. I requested 2 additional toppings. The price jumped to $29 and some change. I expected to pay extra for extra toppings....but $5 per topping is insane. I questioned the person taking the order...he said toppings were $1.75 each, plus tax on the full order...okay, so around $25? He gave me a price of $24 and change. I drive to pick up the pizza and present the coupon....the price is back to $29! So I explained the conversation I had with the person who took the order (there were two employees visible in the store, and it was empty)....the explanation was "this is what comes up in the computer". Whatever. I left without a pizza and they lost another local customer. Great way to start out in your new location. Mountain Mike's makes my favorite pizzas. I recently ordered a pizza for takeout for the first time since the Covid lockdown. I arrived when they told me it would be ready, and once inside, I was told it would be ready in 3 more minutes. After 15 minutes passed, with me standing in the restaurant and not acknowledged by anyone, I asked about my pizza again. This time, a different person told me it would be 7 more minutes. I had already been inside far longer than I felt safe, and I don't like being lied to, so I asked for my money back and left. The only benefit to standing there that long was that I got to observe their operation. There was one employee sitting in the corner booth with no mask on. Her back was to me so I couldn't tell if she was eating, but doesn't the ban on indoor dining apply to EVERYONE? I also observed an employee in the kitchen wearing a mask that did not cover his nose or part of his mouth. This was not a one time slip-up, as I saw him pass by the kitchen opening at least 3 times, always uncovered. I also observed customers come in to pick up pizzas whose masks did not cover their noses. No one working there said anything to them. So don't believe what Mountain Mike's in Seaside says about taking every precaution to protect the health and safety of their customers and staff. That's not what I saw them practicing. Had I been told from the start that my pizza was going to be ready 25 minutes late, I would have waited in my car or cancelled on the spot rather than staying inside thinking it was coming out any minute... I am a senior citizen and this experience has scared me away from Seaside restaurant takeout, as that's where the most Covid cases are occurring on the Peninsula. This restaurant has no concept of customer service and is apparently cavalier about Covid safety measures. read more

This Mountain Mike's gets a three star review from I. The staff has never been rude to me personally but, I have never got a welcoming vibe either. It's fast food! The employees might not be the happiest bunch but I still see people working about there . Also what about the ingredients? I've heard terrible things from the employees that have worked at other Mountain Mike's. It is my belief that what they put in their pizzas might not be good enough for everyone too like. I'm giving it one star because they answered the phone promptly. This was our 2nd time buying a pizza from the new store in Seaside. The first time was pretty bad. The pizza was cold, overpriced and tasted like the frozen store brand I use to buy years ago. I thought I would let the new staff get use to everything and try it again. Last night we ordered one large pepperoni and one cheese with pineapple. The pepperoni are so tiny and curled and it tasted like pizza rolls, no sauce and cold. The cheese pizza was completely covered with pineapples, completely covered. We couldn't eat it. I've never had left over pizza ( 3 Kids ) that nobody would eat the next day. So we will not be going back. I will go back to round table or drive to Mountain Mikes in Marina, only 6 miles farther, they have the best pizza and I've never been disappointed. I was so happy when I saw a Mountain Mikes opening up close to me in Seaside, I hope they get it together soon before they go out of business. read more

Pretty good pizza for the price. It was hot and it tasted great. We ordered it twice in one week during our stay in PG.

The pizza is decent but really the only reason we come is for the $.05 games in the little Arcade area for our kids. The service though is AWFUL! The person at the register needs serious customer service training. We come usually a couple times a month so this isn't just an isolated thing... it's every time. Usually your food is ready and they just never bring it out... always have to go ask. Just wish the staff was trained better and we'd be here more often read more

Apparently 1 star is the lowest you can give. Supposed to have online web ordering. This is FALSE!!! Takes your order charges your credit card,but then gives error code. So, now I've ordered online twice, it's charged me twice. But no order pending. Called the store...13 min on hold for manager. It will take 3-4 days for charges to reverse & please call back if it doesn't work. So I ordered by phone & it charged my card again at the wrong price & now there is a fourth charge for pizza. Allegedly I will get pizza in an hour but I have been charged for it 4 times! Wow, not the best service. Apparently Seaside store is not internet savvy. read more

This was my first Mountain Mike's pizza. Because I had a coupon, I got a large Everest, takeout. April was very pleasant on the phone and also when I showed up to pick up the pizza. She provided me with paper plates, red peppers, and Parm cheese packets to take with me. The pizza was ready within 3 minutes of my arrival. It smelled really good all the way home! And it didn't stop there. We have tried every dang pizza place in town in the past year - Round Table, Me 'n Eds (now the site of the Mountain Mike's in Seaside), Gianni's, Pelican, Dominos, California Pizza Kitchen - and Mountain Mike's beat them all. PLENTY of toppings, crust neither too thick nor too thin, not burnt on the bottom but completely cooked and it was GOOD! If they can do the same another time or two I'll upgrade to 5 stars! With the coupon from the newspaper, including tax it came to $21.72 - husband and I ate exactly half of it and will have another meal tomorrow - not too bad, about $5 each per meal.
