    Bison burger
    Janet K.

Delicious food and phenomenal service! Very much a quaint, small town restaurant. I was in a group of 7 and we were seated immediately. It was 20 min til closing but they still sat us (we had just got into town starving). Building is older as is many of the buildings are in Lake Louise, but very clean and open. Servers were very kind and informative. Checked in on us for refills several times. Ordered the bison burger and had zero complaints. Fries were very tasty and crunchy. Extremely satisfied. Others ordered the butter chicken (also pretty good) and bolognese. We enjoyed our meals so much that we went back again a couple days later. I ordered the bison burger again but with sautéed mushrooms. My boyfriend had left his phone there and did not realize until after closing. We went the next morning to Javalanche next door and they were able to retrieve it for us. 10/10 for service. Will definitely return on our next trip here!

Fair restaurant in Lake Louise. We ordered the burger, chicken strips, chicken bulgogi. The burger was pretty good. The game changer was the chipotle mayo and bbq sauce. Bacon was good too. Good fries! The chicken strips were standard. The chicken bulgogi was a no-go! It was basically a chicken stir fry. And it was $29! Restaurant is by the gas station.

Fantastic food! Highly recommend the Thai curry shrimp noodle soup and Butter chicken. Staff was friendly and fitting to its name, this place has beautiful mountain views.

This is a nice little restaurant. Staff is very attentive and happy to talk about the area. We ate the spaghetti bolognese and Bison burger with onion rings. Wine selection was good.

This was the butter chicken. I asked for fries, in the British fashion, instead of rice. They were happy to do so and did not charge extra.

Not sure why there are some low reviews, my son and I ate here in absolutely loved it. Prices were very reasonable and quality was high. Service was attentive. Definitely huge fan of the curry served over French fries.

Really convenient location as it is next to one of the bigger parks and so you can stop by after a long hike. I was craving a burger so I got a combo and it was a good, standard burger. Poutine was also good but not as memorable. Atmosphere was really nice, it had a wooden theme going on and it was also really clean.

Friendly staff, good food and great view. If you are visiting Lake Louise and looking for a place for good food with view of mountains, this is where you should go. We ordered their Pasta and Burger was delicious. They also have vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Easy parking, pretty views, and quick service. The food and the menu were okay. Chicken sandwich was not the best, but the pasta was very good!

Thai curry shrimp and spicy chicken burger.

Went around 5pm and place hadn't filled up yet. Got seated quickly by Richard and ordered three dishes. Spicy chicken burger was decent, but could use larger buns and less sauce. Huge amount of French fries, though. Crispy and just salty enough. Thai curry shrimp was delicious. Caesar salad was pretty average. A bit overpriced, but in a tourist market, one needs to price to make as much as possible during tourist season. Overall, not a bad place for good food, but not a value leader.

Rude service and I was denied entry. When we asked why the server just walked away. Never experienced anything like this in my life.

Terrific service, super happy we made it in for happy hour too! A FABulous maple old fashioned, and everything we ate was so delicious. It's worth noting that this is a double smash burger. The poutine side with the burger was well put together, the fries were crispy and well salted. The fried brussel sprouts on the other hand were a little bit of a confusing dish. This dish is surprisingly quite light on brussel sprouts and seems almost more like it's meant to be a salad. In addition, while the sprouts are fried and crispy, the same cannot be said for the bacon. Overall, I'd like to see more Brussels, crispy bacon to better crumble around the sprouts and less arugula. The burnt ends were a pretty good dish but were little tougher than I would normally expect from a pice of meat like that and had a texture more similar to rib caps instead of brisket. They also didn't seem to have been smoked on a smoker and just had a smokey glaze instead. I really liked the vibe of this place, it's a very relaxed environment to come and unwind at after a long day out in the parks. There's a semi-private outdoor patio with plenty of seating and good spacing between the tables. I also really thought that the service here was great, the staff were all amazing and super friendly. Everything I ordered was brought out quickly and my glasses were always refilled without me even having to ask.

It is fried and comes out tender with a nice crunchy crust. Now the heat flavoring that ranges from none- to so hot it burns all the way through. There are dill pickles added with cole slaw. There is a sauce that is put on the sandwich. I usually take a pass on the sauce because it is typically heavily applied and gloopy. However, the amount was just right. I had the hot Sando version. This is the third hottest option and it was good and I could really feel the heat of the spices. The server is honest about the heat of the sauces and spices so know your limit. Limited seating, mostly standing but worth the wait. Counter service and a cheery employee. Music plays and it reflects the server. I really liked the music. My spouse had the mild Sando sandwich and thought the spice and heat was just right and "incredibly flavorful." If you are passing through Canmore B.C. and looking for a good, as I call it, yard bird sandwich, you would be stupid not to stop at Flirty Bird Nashville Hot Chicken.

I got the hot, my husband got the hottest and both of us were unable to finish. I expected as much from his (you challenge the heat you get beat!), but mine was nearly inedible as well. I think at the end of the day the spice was haphazardly slapped on, and it takes away from any real flavour. On top of that there was so much sauce the skin was falling off revealing super duper rubbery chicken that was challenging to bite into on its own and the bun disintegrated within the first few bites leaving a sloppy mess of pickle and slaw. Overall, if you want spicy without any actual function save for bragging rights...go for it. You'll pay $15 for a very mediocre chicken sandwich and probably end up covered in reaper sauce along the way.
