This is my second complaint for service at Mountain View Chevrolet where I bought my Bolt. This is a place that can do the service for you but you will have to suffer through the big three: "sorry its taking longer than we thought", "we don't have the parts--we'll need to keep it overnight", or my favorite, "It shouldn't be much longer." Made an appointment through the mychevrolet app thinking someone would actually look at reason for appointment. Of course not--made appointment 10+ days in advance and on arrival was told didn't have the part for the safety recall--two weeks to get. He said, and I quote, "the ones we have are for other customers." Clearly no one looks at the on-line appointments in advance. Although all the service reps are sitting in front of computers the customer process is still the same as 40 years ago no matter how advanced the appointment--"What are you here for today?" First of all, nobody is out on the Service department to greet you warmly. You need to guess which one, of the 6 doors (3 left, 3 right) knock or open and ask for help. I choose the first on the left... bad decision. Even if you are on time with your appointment, the service advisor located in the first room on the left is rude and lazy. He talked like he is making you a favor, and you need to wait an undetermined amount of time. He never wake it up and greet me, a really bad customer service is my first impression. Then, 5 minutes later, another courteous guy, from the offices on the right side of the entrance, approached to me and says "we are behind on service, your vehicle will be inspected on Monday". I appreciate the honest comment, but today is Friday and it is unacceptable for a "Certified Dealer", FOR A CLIENT WITH AN APPOINTMENT IN HAND, to wait 4 days to be attended, really? This guys needs to change their names from "Certified Dealer" to Chevy Repair Shop. I find another Chevy DealerI named Mark Christopher Auto Center, probably 3 miles away from this one. 4 guys were working receiving the vehicles outside the service departmen, and even without an appointment they received my vehicle and give me the attention that a customer deserve it. My husband has a 2018 GMC Sierra that needed a new battery. He called MK Smith Chevrolet in Chino and was quoted $203.00 for the battery. I told him to call Mountain View Chevrolet because they are closer to our home. When he called Mountain View Chevrolet, they asked him for the last 7 or 8 numbers of the vin. My husband gave them the vin number and they quoted him $153.00 for the battery. My husband confirmed the $153.00 price on the phone and doubled check to make sure it was the same battery that he had in his truck. It was. When my husband arrived at Mountain View Chevrolet they told him the cost of the battery was now $243.00 and not the $153.00 that they quoted on the phone. My husband told them that MK Smith Chevrolet quoted him $203.00 for the battery and asked if they would match their price. They told him no. They said that was almost their cost for the battery. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. QUOTED ONE PRICE AND THEN THE PRICE IS CHANGED. My husband then left Mountain View Chevrolet and went to buy the battery at MK Smith Chevrolet in Chino for the price that they quoted him over the phone of $203.00 I tried calling the dealership 4 times and could not get the general manager so I called Chevrolet Corporate Office to file a complaint. if you choose to buy a car from these people, make sure it's not a used Bolt 2020 through 2022. We bought one of these this week. We were assured that it would charge to the full range of 250 when we got it home. This was not the case as they well knew because of a bulletin from Chevrolet. Chevrolet instead of replacing batteries on these cars reset the batteries to charge at 80% capacity until they had been driven another 6000 miles, so, in my case, the car can't drive the full range of 250 until after 23,000 miles. Bottom line they lied to us while selling us the car. We asked to see it fully charged, but they kept giving us all kinds of reasons why they couldn't do that. They also tried to get us to buy a $1300 GPS package that was not included in the advertised price. When we started to leave they said they would remove the package. *12/3/21 Up date. None of the management team has reached out to resolve the concernes stated below. I called Tony, Sales manager in the at the start of the business day on 12/3/21, asking him what steps he was taking to resolve the concerns. He said "I am not going to resolve the issue because you wrote a review and that Noel would be dealing with the issue moving forward". I texted Noel, the salesman requesting a resolution by the end of 12/3/21. I did Not receive email, phone call, or text. I will be pursuing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and file small claims court. I will continue to up date this post. I purchased a chevy cargo van from Mountan View Chevrolet on 11/29/21. I was asked to come back to pick up the van the following day because they were going to replace all the tires. I picked up the van on 11/30/21 at 5pm just like I asked. The gas tank was nearly empty. When I asked about it they said they don't fill up gas tanks for used car purchases. Mind you the cost of the van was a little over $40,000. on 12/1/21 the tire pressure light went on. I noticed the passenger rear tire had a lot of wear. I took it to America's Tire and they said the tire was in really bad shape and needed to be replaced. I bought a new tire and had the tire replaced. 12/02/21 I went to get the oil checked out to make sure it was ok. since I had to replace the tire. I went to Valvoline to get my oil checked out they said the oil was dark brown and was running low. I got the oil changed. I been in contact with Tony the sales manager and Noel the sales person. Noel has been responsive but there's only so much he can do. Tony has been giving me the run around. He said to call him next time I'm in upland and he would fill up the gas tank. This is after I told him I was not planning to go to Upland. I live in Orange County. Not Tony or other managers have addressed my other issues. I would rate this business at a ZERO if that was an option. I would not recommend this business to anyone. DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. read more

I made an appointment 2 weeks out for a Friday at 2pm. I showed up and waited 10 min. Finally I got a helpful Lady that said she was covering for the Service personnel and all of them are on lunch break or busy. I waited another 5 mins. Then went to the restroom. On my way I saw the show room where 7 guys where all together watching the window waiting for customers. After I was done with the restroom I walked out of the show room and said it would be nice to get help at the Service desk. When I got to the service desk the lady took my info and said to leave the truck with them and she would help make sure I got my truck serviced. I thanked her and said I wish she could be the service person. She then said she does 3 jobs at Mountain View Chevy; Cashier, porter, and helped the service desk. I told her she is great just wish she had help. I would give her 5 stars and the actual service people 0 stars. This is the 3rd time I have had to wait for someone to take my info to get my car serviced when making appointments here. read more

If there was a zero star rating available that's what I would give. I had been working with Albert for a month to get a truck that was always being "sold". Numbers were given to me based on info I provided and info he provided. When my wife and I went in on Father's Day ready to purchase the truck that "just came in" (even though the same truck had been listed on the website for nearly two weeks), the price was $12K over what was discussed. They even added $5300 to the price of the truck for wheels/tires that COME STOCK on every single truck in that particular model. When I showed the photo of the truck originally sent by Albert to the "Manager", Albert said that's the lower model, a different truck. I told him not it's the same exact model. I also mentioned that the wheels are the same on all trucks of that model. I called them out and they didn't like it. This place it loaded with sheisters, stay away like the plague!!! I live in Lake Elsinore, and drove out there in traffic on a Saturday afternoon because of a conversation with the sales team. Just to have my credit ran and all of a sudden the offer on my truck was vastly different than what I was told over the phone. Zero apology from the sales team for wasting my time and dinging my credit for a pointless visit. Would not recommend. Purchased a used 2020 traverse and had a couple of warranty issues (moon roof shade clip broke and the camera system intermittently gives me a red triangle error). I went to this dealership last Friday to inform them of these issues and we made an appointment for the following Wednesday for the service technician to look at the camera system. I was told it would take half a day and to drop my car off at 8am and they'd have the car ready by the time I had to go to work at 2pm. Sure enough, when I arrive at 8am there's a long line of cars and only 1 person trying to get the cars situated. I go to the service counter and I'm told to wait in my car. I advised them I scheduled for my car to get dropped off at 8 and I needed to leave to watch my kids. 30 minutes later I'm still waiting in my car and no one has helped. I go to the service desk again and I'm told someone will be there and to wait at the car. By this point the cars in my left lane had all been seen, the cars in front and behind of me had been attended to. I asked if I had gotten skipped and again I'm told to wait in my car. It's been an hour now and I'm just trying to drop my car off for something that was coordinated the week before. The service tech who I coordinated with the week before sees me finally and acts confused as to why I'm here. I had him the receipt from our last encounter and reminded him what needed to be done. I'm told the parts aren't in. I reminded him I'm here for the camera system and the replacement parts can wait. It's now 1pm, no phone call from them or updates. I work at 2pm which I told them when I set this all up. I had to call several times as no one was answering. I finally get a lady on the phone who seemed real nice but she informs me they haven't even looked at my car and the service tech is at lunch. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I have regrets buying this car knowing this will be the treatment I'll get (which was the same when I purchased my Chevy Blazer from this location in '96). I guess now I'm forced to go to a dealership several miles away from my residence due to the apathetic and disorganized dealership that is Mountain View Chevrolet. 2 stars because at least the parts department was helpful... read more

Where do I start I came in to buy their $169,000 corvette ZR1. I was lied to about everything from "that customer sitting tight there is looking at the same car as you. You better close this deal ASAP" to "the reported accident on the carfax is actually a MISTAKE" to "the banks will only do this deal with $75k down." I stuck to my guns and my offer and ended up purchasing the car only to be told they will be holding it for 2 WEEKS while the check clears. That is unheard of. I've purchased half a dozen cars with checks and always left the dealership with the car the same day. On top of everything, when asked for water, they reply that they don't have waters to hand out (even when purchasing a six-figure car.) I just purchased a 2024 Silverado lt about a month ago. The sales person gave me wrong information about the towing capability, the engin size, and answered questions with "I guess I should know that". My wife and I sat there patiently listening to the sales persons annoying stories and their non-understandings of the world. We negotiated a deal the headed off to the financing department. I had financing through schools first that had a slightly higher interest rate than one of the baks they deal with. After deciding to choose their financing and signing the papers (my mistake) and driving the tuck (which I love) for about a month I went over my paperwork again.....what a mistake! I realized I signed a contract in which i will pay an additional $9500 + the interest on the loan. I was supposed to get a digital license plate that was on the sticker that I was told wasnt available??? I am disputing this digital license plate. Over-all I am disappointed and feel cheated.
